My dad has been here in Camberley Woods for 4 1/2 years. In that time his condition - Parkinson's & Lewybody Dementia has deteriorated but he has always been very well looked after/cared for by the entire team of nurses & carers. Who are all so kind & caring. My dad is very loved by all the staff,
and that gives our family much comfort. Everybody here, including the receptionists etc are allso friendly, and we as a family enjoy catching up with them when we visit dad weekly.

As the family of a full time resident, we love visiting and engaging with everyone at Camberley Woods. Staff are very friendly, smiley and dutiful in their jobs and always go the extra mile. The food is almost too good - maybe a bit 'rich' for our father's diet and digestive requirements, but he
loves it! All in all we are very pleased and happy with Camberley Woods.

The high standard of care is evident in all areas. What makes Camberley Woods such a good choice for my Mum's care is quite simple really. 1/ She is very happy there 2/ The staff are quite simply brilliant from reception to maintenance and all departments in between. It's such a big decision when
looking for a Care Home that you hope will be the right choice for looking after your Mum, I feel we made the right choice in all respects and feel very satisfied that my Mum is happy, safe and well cared for. She has been there over a year now and her general well being has improved no end after living on her own in her retirement flat. Proper nutrition, stimulation and general care..what a transformation, all down to the care given at Camberley Woods.

I'm so happy that my Dad was able to move from hospital to Camberley Woods Care Home. He requires complex care and is very happy and well looked after by all the staff. The staff take an interest in him as an individual rather than just seeing him as an old man. Visitors are encouraged and also made
to feel welcome.

The most friendly, helpful & caring staff for all aspects of arrival to departure. We could not ask for better for our father. The original care & support of our father is second to none. Management all the way through the staff to the cleaners are 100% professional & caring. In all just excellent.

I was dumped here under false pretences for 2 weeks to recuperate from hospital. Still stuck here. Does seem odd that a shed cannot be put up which would keep outdoor toys dry & clean, and is now rotting as water runs down back to hedge because management cannot decide. I do think the carers should
be taught what cutlery to use and speak English fluently. Sharp knives & forks would be helpful. I find knives so blunt wont peel hard fruit well or cut meat sometimes. Garden & Julie my great comfort and my birds. I think you should decide whether you are a care home, nursing or residental, all have different requirements. I was kidnapped & brought here never asked if I wanted to come. Food awful. You want to get some proper spinal matresses, so folk like me don't have back ache the whole time I have a lovely one at home. If you send a carer, I do not think we have to pay - as that is part of caring. I do not need a wheelchair taxi. I sit in a seat. Last time I went in the owner drove and he asked why you booked one when I sit in a seat. He told me because you had booked that particuarl day he could not take a lady who had broken both legs and was in a chair to hospital, so she missed her appointment. It was too late to book a transport ambulance. I have asked for an ordinary taxi. Wheelchair ones are so high to climb in. That is how my bad leg got out. You need sharp knives and a leg guard for injured legs. Blunt knives to residents.

There are not enough words to describe the level of care my Aunt receives in Camberley Woods. I have never experienced such kindness, respect, thoughfullness and attitude of every member of staff. The manager, receptionists, carers and nurses are excellent, such caring, respectful staff. Nothing is
too much trouble for them. The atmosphere as soon as you walk through the front door is first class. Always a smile and greeting. The staff will make time to talk to me and use my name - outstanding.

I have some not so great experiences of care homes in the past. However Camberley Woods really does go that extra mile. My dad absolutely loves it there. He looks forward to the daily activities. After a recent visit to celebrate dad's birthday, we were treated to a first class meal, that was
absolutely delicious! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and will do everything that realistically can to accommodate special requests. We have such peace of mind knowing that we have chosen the very best care home for our dad.

Lots of kind caring staff, those giving personal care, the maintenance team, the gardener all making life as good as it could be. My mother could be difficult in a bad mood, but she apologised and staff accepted it with good grace. People knew about all the family and spoke to her about us all.
Family!
