My wife was a resident at Gorselands for three years. The care, compassion, support, kindness and dedication that all the staff gave her was second to none. The menu was adjusted to her needs as and when required and the input from the chef, nutritionist and nurses was superb. All the staff team
were totally amazing in everything they did for her. They are very much a family with plenty of laughter and fun. The entertainments team are incredible with the event they organise. Birthdays for residents are always celebrated with a superb cake/balloons and banners. A very happy place. During a very difficult time for me, they were very supportive and nothing was too much trouble for them. When my wife passed away, members of staff I had never met came to her room to see me and to say goodbye to her. The home is spotless and the management team achieve very standards on every level. Thank you for everything you do for the residents. If/when I need a nursing home, I will certainly book myself in to Gorselands!

I cannot praise this home enough my husband was here 8 years ago, now my father. The standards of are are still as high, the staff are all so lovely & kind & really go more than the extra mile to provide a cosy 'family' feel to all residents and their relatives. Everyone matters to them & they show
it. Beautiful setting & good food too.

So happy with the loving care and attention given to Mums many needs by all the staff at Gorselands. It's not just Mum they consider, but the whole of her family. They have made everyone welcome, which is really appreciated by all for them to be able to see Mum so happy and doing so well. Thank you

As part of continuous care following a spell in hospital my mother spent her last week in Gorselands. Her room was beautiful and the staff I met were attentive and respectful. It gives our family comfort that our mother was in such a lovely environment until she died.

My cousin had been a resident at this lovely family run nursing home for four years but sadly passed away so peacefully recently. The excellent team always had her comfort and well being foremost. She needed extra nursing care latterly which was sympathetically carried out in a really professional
but friendly manner. As a relation I will miss visiting them all as they made me feel almost part of their family. Not being there all the time my review is based on having been sent their excellent Chronicles newsheet with photos with regard to activities etc. I have recommended the home but warned the main access road is typical of the tranquil heart of the forest location.

My mother was discharged to Gorselands from a hospital stay.
I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and care my mother received.
We are so grateful for the compassion we experienced at a very difficult time.

The staff at Gorselands are professional, caring and very attentive. They cared for my father until he passed away at the age of 96 years. It is located in an amazing New Forest village, ideal for the occupants to relax.

The Gorselands nursing home's care for my uncle was exemplary. The kind, caring staff made his final 10 days a peaceful time. Staff were attentive and empathetic. Nothing was too much trouble and we are all grateful for their kindness to our family and our loved one.

When my friend first arrived at Gorseland last year there were a few gaps in communication between staff/management. These seem to have ben resolved. I am impressed with the. time and trouble, the staff go to, to ensure a pleasing, friendly atmosphere. They go the extra mile to decorate the lounges
and dining room for various occasions. ie. Valentines Day tea party. The care staff are approachable and do that best to make the residents lives fullfulling and meaningful.

I find the home welcoming, friendly and the needs of the residents well catered for. It is bright, light and situated in a lovely location. All the staff are competent, lovely and friendly. The home is well run and maintained.

The care given to my mother from the moment she entered Gorselands until her death was exemplary. The staff always put residents at the centre. They were kind caring and wonderful social activities were arranged when she was able to take advantage of them. When she deteriorated the staff were caring
and attentive. The nursing care was second to none. The communication with myself was very good. The last years of my mother's life were much less painful knowing she was so well cared for.

I have found the care and attention given to residents of Gorselands to be second to none. They are very attentive and supportive to the needs of my mother and I always find the staff to be very helpful and informative.

My husband was in Gorselands for 4 months and he was always treated with kindness, consideration and respect. The choice and quality of food were very good and were adapted to meet his needs. The management was very "hands-on" and approachable and the staff were always cheerful, patient and caring.
Nothing was too much trouble and no question was left unanswered. There was a good range of daily activities for residents. Gorselands is in a lovely setting, with great management and caring staff.

Mum was in this delightful care home for one week. Mum and the whole family received excellent care and support throughout. Management and staff were efficient and absolutely caring. A beautiful setting with a home-from-home feel.
