View Full Details of Greenbanks Care HomeMy mother in law recently moved into Greenbanks Care Home. The care and the love she has received from the manager and all the staff has been amazing. They are all very dedicated in making sure everyone feels part of the family there. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done to make her feel welcome. This is an outstanding care home and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you again.
I have been so impressed with Greenbanks they have provided my mum with excellent care and nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff are friendly, professional and very caring. Whenever I visit my mum she looks very well cared for and is also spoken to by the staff with respect. She has been very happy whilst staying at Greenbanks. Thank you to everyone.
When my father moved into Greenbanks, it was a big adjustment. However it was made effortless due to the staff's support and committment to caring not only for my father, but the whole family. The staff have quickly become extended family members to us all. The home is always well presented and has a family vibe to it. Just delighted!!
Where do I start with this wonderful place! My mum has been resident for almost 18 months now & in that time she has gone from having no purpose to actively taking part in many of the games, & exercises most days (even gaining a love for Bingo, which she would never have played previously!). The staff, from the cleaners, kitchen staff, carers, & management, all have a single minded approach to looking after the residents, ensuring a consistent level of service at all touch points. All of this under the magnificent leadership of the manager, who has done so much to improve the quality of care, service, & facilities at Greenbanks. Every time I visit I am treated with huge respect & utmost courtesy, & it's clear this is the way they treat the residents at all times! In addition, all residents are treated individually based on their needs. I can thoroughly recommend Greenbanks to anyone considering a home for their relative, & assure you that you won't be disappointed!
My father is well looked after at Greenbanks. The staff are always very cheerful and helpful whenever I visit; they do an excellent job in attending to my fathers needs and engage with him on a friendly basis. He eats well and enjoys the 'outings' when they are arranged.
I would just like to say that the experience I have had so far is excellent. The staff have been very good to me. My husband is being well cared for, all in all I am glad he is in Greenbanks.
My husband has only been at Greenbanks for 3 weeks, so it is still early days.
I cannot fault Greenbanks. The staff are incredible and really make you feel welcome and at ease when visiting. My impression is that they do a brilliant job of taking care of my grandmother (even when she is being her mischievous self)! It has a proper family ethos about it and I love popping in to visit. There is always something happening for the residents and the atmosphere is usually lively. The managers team are a credit to her - she runs the place with warmth and compassion and this is reflected in the care my grandmother receives.
Mum has been a resident for a little under a year and in that time has received outstanding care and friendship. It feels like a family home which was what we were looking for. Staff understand her needs and remain patient, attentive and professional at all times giving her exceptional care. The Manager and her team are welcoming and friendly when we visit. Communication is good and staff are always available to discuss her care. There are daily activities and mum is encouraged to participate. She also enjoys the visiting entertainers and off-site visits. Mum has a delightful spacious room which more than meets her physical needs and access to a well kept garden. The home is well maintained by all the staff and has recently updated many of the communal areas including a cafe area. The menu is varied and chef is happy to accommodate any likes or dislikes. We are delighted with Greenbanks and appreciate everyone involved in caring and supporting mum.
My mother has been a resident at Greenbanks Care Home since November 2020. My mother is very well cared for by the team. The team have many activities that they involve the residents in and although Mum is not able to participate fully they involve her. The care I see them giving to every resident is warm and caring and attentive. The atmosphere in the home is happy and comfortable. They have outings for the residents and also take residents to the local park when the weather is good.
Very happy with our visits . The staff are very welcoming and happy to talk to me about the person I have come to see. We are keep informed of thier health and wellbeing also any outings. It is. good you can visit any time.
Greenbanks is a warm and welcoming environment for my mum and for me and other visitors. The home's managers are always listening and responsive and the carers try hard to provide a really personal experience. I have been impressed with how cheerful and positive all the staff are. The staff ratio seems good and response times to alarm calls are very quick, which gives me confidence regarding safety and attention for residents. Staff do a good job of keeping me informed with medical updates and the admin team actively and regularly seek feedback. While the building and facilities are admittedly not the fanciest, there is an ongoing programme of improvement and renovation under the current owners.
Since the staff and management underwent changes this year, the care is noticeably more engaged with the residents. Staff are friendly towards visitors. My mother-in-law had a birthday and much effort was put in by staff to give her a good time. Also, a very successful BBQ was held on another occasion for everyone.
An excellent caring home with staff that really care. Lovely rooms, nicely decorated with a wonderfully calm atmosphere. Stepdad has only been staying for a few months but was constantly reassured by staff to help him settle in. Staff communication throughout his settling-in period was first class - thank you.
Following an outbreak of sickness and diarrhoea, my mother was quite unwell and continues to be, although slowly improving, the care and compassion of the staff have been wonderful, attentive and caring, Thank you. The food for lunch is a little hit and miss for Mum, she preferred the other female chef prior to the new chef, and issues like meat cut to thick ham, beef etc, (she can’t cut with the knife supplied, too blunt) too much mash potato, not enough variation, appreciate there is a wide variety of different needs however my mum will go without rather than ask for help. She cannot afford to lose any weight.
Amazing staff, always so helpful in every way. Residents always smiling and happy. The house is always clean and tidy. Smells nice throughout. Such a lovely atmosphere to be in. Lovely garden area to sit out in. Just an amazing place to be, home from home.
From the moment we walked in it felt right, very much at home. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is good. The carers are very friendly and helpful. My wife is always dressed well and kept clean.
My wife is, unfortunately, suffering from dementia, Alzheimer's with delusions. Prior to coming to Greenbanks she had endured an appalling time for some 9 months, But since she has been here she has received the most amazing care from, the manager and all the people who work there, they go beyond the norm. Nothing seems to be too much trouble when she becomes anxious or depressed, they find the things she has lost and reassure her that my sons and I are coming to see her, they also put up with us when we need to make or change an appointment. All in all they are a truly caring operation and I strongly recommend Greenbanks to anyone who is looking for a home from home.
My mum receives the best possible care at Greenbanks. She is treated and respected as an individual, with all her quirks, likes and dislikes taken into consideration. I feel comforted to know that Mum is where she needs to be, with 24-hour support from a warm, friendly and professional team.
My mother is very happy at Greenbanks and gets on extremely well with most of the staff. I find the staff approachable, happy, and friendly and I have developed a good relationship with most of them. Some staff members are particularly skilled, knowledgeable, and are very very caring. The Manager and the Deputy Manager are very approachable and available to discuss any concerns. Overall we are very happy with the care my mother receives. During the Covid pandemic, I cannot praise the Manager enough for her proactive approach to keeping my mother and other residents safe throughout. The Manager kept me fully informed as to the plans during this time, although difficult and not being able to see my mother for very long periods of time, it was worth the sacrifice to keep her safe. I was able to speak to my mother on the phone every day and to visit using the pod. Now things have opened up I am more than happy to have a lateral flow test before visiting and the team has this system working very well.
