Greenbanks Care Home

This home is such a happy place. I have been here just over a month and I am so settled. Everyone are all so helpful. My room is so homely and there is room for me to carry on with my hobbies. I have no negatives in the time I have been here. Also when family or other visitors arrive they are always welcomed with a drink if they want one I love it here and don't want to be anywhere else

I thoroughly recommend this home and its lovely setting!

My Mum moved into Greenbanks 5 weeks ago after her confusion got too much for us to handle at home. We chose Greenbanks after seeing 5 residential homes as we felt it offered the right combination of a nice room, clean homely feel, many activities and kind friendly staff. We have been so impressed with all of those things since Mum moved in and she has settled well, made friends, put on weight - she says the foods great - and been involved in outtings and activities. The Manager and the staff are all so friendly, helpful and cheerful, the home clean and welcoming and a delight to visit. Thank you so much to all the staff for welcoming my Mum so well and helping to make her transition as painless as possible.

My Mum has been at the care home for just over a month and whilst I know how difficult it is with her dementia the staff have been brilliant when I have visited the staff are very attentive to the residents and they try really hard to brighten there days it is a comfort to myself and my wider family that people appear very caring and kind it means a lot , They keep me updated with any problems which is great at least I feel I'm in the loop

Dad has been very happy at Greenbanks, he enjoys the interaction with the staff and residents and loves the food. We are very happy with the care provided.

My mum has been a resident of Greenbanks since January 2026 since her dementia diagnosis began to progress quite significantly. We were offered 3 care homes to visit and Greenbanks was by far the standout when we went to visit these options. Mum was living alone prior to moving to the care home and the difference we have seen in her over these last few months has been incredible. Greenbanks do fantastic activities with the residents, it is always clean and tidy, the staff are incredible and the accommodation is very comfortable. We are very happy and grateful to have mum looked after so well and the family has complete peace of mind that she is eating when she should, getting her medication at the right times, is safe and able to socialise with the other residents and staff. We all thoroughly enjoy visiting her at Greenbanks where the staff have all gone out of their way to know our names, welcome us warmly and most importantly look after our mum / grandma so nicely

Great care delivered to residents. There is always something happening to keep them occupied. Home has a lovely friendly atmosphere and we are always welcome. Room is great, clean and tidy. Staff are amazing.

My mother in law recently moved into Greenbanks Care Home. The care and the love she has received from the manager and all the staff has been amazing. They are all very dedicated in making sure everyone feels part of the family there. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done to make her feel welcome. This is an outstanding care home and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you again.

I have been so impressed with Greenbanks they have provided my mum with excellent care and nothing is too much trouble. All of the staff are friendly, professional and very caring. Whenever I visit my mum she looks very well cared for and is also spoken to by the staff with respect. She has been very happy whilst staying at Greenbanks. Thank you to everyone.

When my father moved into Greenbanks, it was a big adjustment. However it was made effortless due to the staff's support and committment to caring not only for my father, but the whole family. The staff have quickly become extended family members to us all. The home is always well presented and has a family vibe to it. Just delighted!!

My father is well looked after at Greenbanks. The staff are always very cheerful and helpful whenever I visit; they do an excellent job in attending to my fathers needs and engage with him on a friendly basis. He eats well and enjoys the 'outings' when they are arranged.

I would just like to say that the experience I have had so far is excellent. The staff have been very good to me. My husband is being well cared for, all in all I am glad he is in Greenbanks.

I cannot fault Greenbanks. The staff are incredible and really make you feel welcome and at ease when visiting. My impression is that they do a brilliant job of taking care of my grandmother (even when she is being her mischievous self)! It has a proper family ethos about it and I love popping in to visit. There is always something happening for the residents and the atmosphere is usually lively. The managers team are a credit to her - she runs the place with warmth and compassion and this is reflected in the care my grandmother receives.

We are delighted with Greenbanks and appreciate everyone involved in caring and supporting mum.

They have outings for the residents and also take residents to the local park when the weather is good.

Very happy with our visits . The staff are very welcoming and happy to talk to me about the person I have come to see. We are keep informed of thier health and wellbeing also any outings. It is. good you can visit any time.

Greenbanks is a warm and welcoming environment for my mum and for me and other visitors. The home's managers are always listening and responsive and the carers try hard to provide a really personal experience. I have been impressed with how cheerful and positive all the staff are. The staff ratio seems good and response times to alarm calls are very quick, which gives me confidence regarding safety and attention for residents. Staff do a good job of keeping me informed with medical updates and the admin team actively and regularly seek feedback.

While the building and facilities are admittedly not the fanciest, there is an ongoing programme of improvement and renovation under the current owners.

Since the staff and management underwent changes this year, the care is noticeably more engaged with the residents. Staff are friendly towards visitors. My mother-in-law had a birthday and much effort was put in by staff to give her a good time. Also, a very successful BBQ was held on another occasion for everyone.
