Greenbanks Care Home aims to deliver the highest quality of care with additional experience in dementia, but in a setting that feels more like a home than a hotel.

With an enthusiastic and highly trained team of care staff, the home is registered to care for up to 30 individuals. The majority of the rooms have en-suite facilities and views onto the lovely garden. There are also 3 communal lounges and a dining room to encourage positive social mealtimes.

All aspects of daily living are supported; from ensuring someone’s daily evening sherry is provided to accessing places or activities they have never experienced before. The home has a proven track record of improving outcomes for residents both on a permanent and a respite basis.

The dedicated activity coordinator ensures a diverse range of group activities throughout the week, as well as creating a bespoke activities plan in partnership with each resident. This ensures that each resident’s social, psychological, and emotional wellbeing is maintained to the highest level. After all, care isn’t just about someone’s physical needs.

My Mum was transferred from home to Greenbanks about 12 months ago. She was really struggling to look after herself and we all made the decision that it would be best for her to stay. Since then she has loved her time there and doesn't want to leave. It is so homely and the staff there are magnificent.

My Mum moved into Greenbanks last July, quite a worrying thing as Care Homes during Covid had been hit so hard. Also a very big step for Mum and me as Mum had lived independently all her life although more recently having care visitors to her home. It was with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's, and also Sun
Downing plus loneliness that made us decide to move her to Greenbanks. From me being scared to now being so happy is massive. My Mum's life is so much better now she has full-time care. The people at Greenbanks are so lovely, I mean I truly love them for the care and consideration they give Mum. Mum has made lovely friends with both the residents and staff and I love the fact whenever I phone or visit she seems happy. Since I've only known Greenbanks during Covid I can't praise them highly enough for keeping residents safe but also looking after their wellbeing by allowing safe visiting within guidelines. They are amazing at keeping me informed and no request ever seems too much trouble.

Staff are always happy and very helpful. I'm pleased my mother has settled in so well thanks to the care she is receiving. The place always looks clean and fresh and the staff always call me to let me know what's happening.

My mother entered Greenbanks in June 2020. She was made very welcome and soon settled with all staff appearing to be considerate to her needs. The communication with the care home causes me no concerns as I realise they have my mother's interests at heart. During the pandemic, the care has been well
thought through with residents always being the top of Greenbanks' priorities. The manager and staff are always accommodating of any requests I make and concerns are quickly attended to or discussed for the best resolution. My mother appears to feel safe and secure, which is my priority. It is a small care home with a friendly approach.

My father has been in Greenbanks for approximately 2 years. The standard of care there is first class, the room is clean, the food is plentiful and to a high standard. Since the building work the whole place looks very smart, bright and clean. The staff are very helpful and caring and nothing is too
much trouble even throughout these difficult times. I have the confidence to know my father is in a very good and caring place and being well looked after, so much so that I have a friend who is also in there now and despite medical problems is happy and also very well looked after.

The staff and management at Greenbanks are all passionate about the care and wellbeing of each and every resident.
The decor and building work still needs attention but can see slow progress.
The residents and particularly my mum are central to everything the staff do. With personal, sensitive care,

I was worried about having to go into a care home. Well no more, the staff were amazing, I was so well looked after and made to feel so welcome. The food was lovely and staff always smiling, nothing was to much trouble. Greenbanks changed my view of a care home.

I have been so worried in finding a care home for my husband who had been in hospital with a bad chest infection. When he got better, they advised to find him a care home. One of the social workers suggested Greenbanks and I could not have found a better one. The care they give to my husband has been

Moving into care was extremely daunting but the staff at Greenbanks made the transition so much more pleasant and easy than I had anticipated. The care is truly individual and the staff are genuinely concerned for the welfare of residents and their families. I feel welcome to visit anytime and have
been overwhelmed by the commitment of all the staff. Sympathy and empathy are evident all the time and staff go out of their way to ensure the health and welfare and happiness of residents. Response to any concerns is immediate.

Our mother, dying with terminal cancer and at the very old age of 96 years, was extremely let down by Hampshire County Council services. We found our mother a lovely home where we hoped she could spend her last few months in peace and relaxation, Greenbanks in Liphook. After meeting the manager and
staff at Greenbanks our minds and hearts were set on this being our mother’s last home from home, the atmosphere is relaxed and geared at being a family home, the staff are caring, friendly, and helpful. I recommend Greenbanks without any reservations at all.

I have no complaints. We chose this home as we thought it was the best suited for my mother and now years later, we still feel the same. Very happy for my mother and all my family are very happy with the home and all the staff. Hopefully I will being going there!!!

Job Title: Registered Manager

I'm Filipa, I began my care journey at the age of 18, initially taking on the role of a care assistant to fund my degree. My passion for making a difference led me into social care where I became a social worker for the Portuguese Red Cross. Upon my move to England, I began my career as a senior care assistant, navigating through various roles including team leader, field care supervisor, deputy manager to now manager at Greenbanks. It's more than just a job to me - it's a heartfelt commitment to creating a home where residents and staff become family and where every day is an opportunity to make a difference.
