The staff are exceptional-patient, kind, and always attentive to the needs of every resident. They treat everyone with dignity and respect, creating a real sense of community and belonging. It's clear that the team doesn't just work here-they truly care.

The home itself is clean, bright, and welcoming,

with comfortable rooms and beautiful communal areas. There are plenty of engaging activities and social events, which have done wonders for residents mood and sense of independence.

Communication with families is excellent too. We always feel informed and involved, and we've never had a concern that wasn't addressed quickly and thoughtfully.

When my father moved into Greenbanks, it was a big adjustment. However it was made effortless due to the staff's support and committment to caring not only for my father, but the whole family. The staff have quickly become extended family members to us all. The home is always well presented and has
a family vibe to it. Just delighted!!

Offington Park Rest Home

from Susan J (Next of Kin) published on 16 June 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My uncle came to live here following an extended hospital stay in February 2025. When discharged from hospital he was in very poor health and spirits, thin depressed and suffering from a chest infection that the hospital had failed to manage. He has now been living at Offington Park for 4 months he
is healthy and happy and looks so much better. He receives 1st class care from the doctor who attends the home on a regular basis, the physio who gets him doing his exercises the staff who constantly pop in to say hello, his foot care, his haircuts and his nails are all carried out on a regular basis and the manager is always available if you have any queries. I am extremely happy with the level of care and service here. I can now relax knowing that my uncle is safe, happy, no longer lonely and well cared fo, after years of worrying about him, as he lived alone since his wife's passing 1.5 hours away from me.

Greenbanks Care Home

from Nigel B (Son of Resident) published on 10 June 2025

Where do I start with this wonderful place!
My mum has been resident for almost 18 months now & in that time she has gone from having no purpose to actively taking part in many of the games, & exercises most days (even gaining a love for Bingo, which she would never have played previously!).
The
staff, from the cleaners, kitchen staff, carers, & management, all have a single minded approach to looking after the residents, ensuring a consistent level of service at all touch points. All of this under the magnificent leadership of the manager, who has done so much to improve the quality of care, service, & facilities at Greenbanks.
Every time I visit I am treated with huge respect & utmost courtesy, & it's clear this is the way they treat the residents at all times! In addition, all residents are treated individually based on their needs.
I can thoroughly recommend Greenbanks to anyone considering a home for their relative, & assure you that you won't be disappointed!

from Teresa R (Daughter of Resident) published on 2 June 2025

Our father entered Offington Park in October 2024 and as soon as we arrived the atmosphere in the care home was warm and friendly - we were made to feel very welcome from the outset which is testament to the entire care home team who have proved themselves to our family to be very professional, kind,
sensitive, caring and patient. They have all taken the time to get to know our father and make him feel at home treating him with dignity, giving him encouragement, independence and privacy when needed and most importantly keeping him safe while ensuring that his needs are met. The staff show a high level of understanding of dementia and are experts in diffusing any challenging situation that may arise. With activities each day, residents birthday celebrations and parties for the residents families to enjoy plus good homemade food, great cakes and a nice outdoor space to enjoy the sunshine we would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

I cannot fault Greenbanks. The staff are incredible and really make you feel welcome and at ease when visiting. My impression is that they do a brilliant job of taking care of my grandmother (even when she is being her mischievous self)! It has a proper family ethos about it and I love popping in to
visit. There is always something happening for the residents and the atmosphere is usually lively. The managers team are a credit to her - she runs the place with warmth and compassion and this is reflected in the care my grandmother receives.
