Staff very pleasant, cooperative and caring. Pay attention to comments made and willing to assist and help in best interests of those they are caring for.

It is difficult for me to give a comprehensive review as we live in Spain and cannot visit very often, although we have weekly video conferences. Circumstances have been very difficult these last years and we are very pleased how mum has been treated and we see that she still has a quality of life. This is mainly due to the great work of all of the employees. We very much appreciate it. I don't see how mum could be in better hands. Thank you very much, it is very appreciated.

Excellent receptionists. Immaculately clean premises. Lovely staff. My friend, the resident, appears to like where she is now residing. This home is head and shoulders above other homes I have visited.

The staff and reception are really friendly. Made us coffee, hot chocolate. The lady on Transport was very friendly and was telling us that she takes the residents out and where she takes them. Lovely for them, she had so much patience. The home is really clean, flowers are everywhere. Lovely to walk into.Very lovely place to go to 10/10.

Mum has moved lodge a few months ago which she has now settled and got used to the staff. All the staff are very nice which I think has helped mum settle. She likes her new room which is a lot bigger so we spend most visits in her room.

This is a very caring, attentive, kind and supportive environment, where staff offer personalised care to all patients/residents. It has a homely feel to allow residents to feel relaxed and part of the family, and included in all activities. There is always a positive and fun atmosphere, making moments and experiences accessible to everyone.

South Africa Lodge is a first class Nursing Home! This is the fourth NH he has been a resident and the first one he has really settled in. The staff are well trained, skilful and caring and have taken the time to understand his needs and wants to help make his stay as enjoyable as possible. The new manager is a strong presence, very proactive and has made a big difference. Thank you so much!

Since Mum was transferred to South Africa Lodge I feel much happier that she is getting the care and attention she needs. The staff are always attentive and supportive to my mum despite how difficult she can be. They take very good care of all her needs both day to day and medical.

I come to visit my sister and I have always found the staff very helpful and my sister is clean & tidy. She seems happy and well looked after.

When you walk into South Africa Lodge you immediately sense the calmness within. I have found all staff to be most welcoming and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. They know all their patients individually and adapt to all their needs. Thank you for providing such a lovely, kind, caring and happy atmosphere to reside in.

Before visiting my friend I called numerous times and spoke with both receptionists. Both of whom were very helpful in assisting the times best suted for my friend to get the best out of her visit. All staff were very helpful and my friend seemd very happy wtih living at South Africa Lodge.

There has been a change for the better over the last couple of months. Seeing less agency carers can only be a huge benefit to residents. Carers are taking time to get to know residents likes/dislikes, personalities. Staff are very friendly and consider both families and residents and are always happy to help and respect situations. The recent increase in activities staff is hugely valuable helping residents to have a more interesting day. I feel a second minibus & driver would be a really lovely opportunity for more residents to go out and more often. Food has improved greatly. Thank you to all at South Africa Lodge.

My brother has been a resident at South Africa Lodge for 9 years and I wouldn't want him to live anywhere else. The home is very clean and modern and all the staff are great. Really friendly and supportive. I can honestly say I have not a member of staff I have not liked. They treat us like family and we always feel welcome. The reception staff are always there with a welcoming smile. I honestly cannot fault anything. They are always finding an excuse for a party, garden fete etc and so much goes in to making these days enjoyable for residents and visitors.

My experience at South Africa Lodge is fantastic. They always are so kind to me and my family when we go to visit my auntie. The staff are always checking up on my auntie to make sure she is okay. If there is ever an emergency they are so quick to coming and helping. I want to thank each and every member of staff for being so kind to me and my family and my auntie to.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you of South Africa Lodge you all have been amazing to my sister and thank you to the reception lady for making us feel so welcome and the lodge is so clean and tidy and my sister loves it here. And also thanks for letting us use a room to celebrate an ocation with my sister.

The staff at South Africa Lodge are kind and patient. They do not ignore the residents and they listen to family members. The rooms in Protea unit are very small but the communal lounge is large and airy. The gardens are wonderful. Residents are taken out into the garden every day. This has not been the case at other care homes. My mother is more relaxed here and smiles at the staff and thanks them. She enjoys the food. She can be difficult and stubborn but the staff seems to know how to deal with her.

South Africa Lodge cares for my mother. Reception are always friendly and helpful, the carers are always polite and do a good job of looking after the residents.
