My experience of the Barchester has been excellent. My mother came in December just before her 90 th birthday, we spent Christmas Day with her there, it really had a family feel with all the participation of the staff . The level of nursing care is excellent, any concerns are immediately addressed
and I'm updated on developments regularly. I have complete confidence with her wellbeing and health needs and would highly recommend the home. Considering the short length of time she has been there she has settled so well and knows she is well cared for. The food and nutrition is excellent catering for individual needs and the staff always seem to have a smile on their faces.
Group participation is encouraged and there are a lot of activities but one to one interaction is also given in the room if unable to join in and individuals interests are noted and catered for really well.

My mother spent the last four & a half years of her life in Chorleywood Beaumont. Admitted originally to the sister care home in Bushey, where mum had met with the manager who was satisfied that although mum had been diagnosed with vascular dementia, she could stay there, mum was transferred two
weeks later to Memory Lane in Chorleywood. This period was very difficult due to the pandemic & the protocols in place, plus the fact that I, her only child, live and work abroad. From day one, mum was treated with such kindness, dignity & respect by all the staff. They showed her such devotion & consideration, making sure that she was comfortable, clean, always acting in her best interests. Mum was happy during her time in the care home. It was her home. The level of care & professionalism of all the staff involved in mum's care, enabled me to sleep at night knowing that she was safe & their unfailing kindness to us all makes Chorleywood Beaumont more than worthy to be called a care home.

All staff on the memory lane ward were a dream to deal with. My nan was placed here from hospital for end of life and she managed a few weeks before passing. Everyone treated her and my family with respect and care. They were very attentive and even in the last moments were a pleasure to deal with
and made us thankful my Nan was there.

I can't thank every member of the fantastic staff enough for the care and respect they showed my mother in law and our whole family. They are a very special bunch of people. Very caring and nothing was too much for them to do to help us.
The rooms are really nice and always clean. The food is
really nice and fresh, and a very good variety.
From the front of house to the manager and even the middle of night staff, they all made our experience there so much easier.
From all of my family to all of you may I say, thank you very much.

We looked at six local care homes before choosing the Chorleywood Beaumont as our favourite option.
As soon as we took mum to see it she said, she loved it & wanted to live there.
After two months in residence, we are more than delighted with the care that mum is receiving.
The property is
wonderfully clean & comfortable & the staff are so caring. Mums wellbeing is their absolute priority.
There is a great selection of activities, including musical concerts, quizzes, social get togethers, arts & crafts & organised trips out.
The team always keep me appraised of mums health & wellbeing both mental & physical & she has flourished with the constant kindness, care & attention since moving in.
The staff, management, carers, nurses, catering & housekeeping staff all work together to give the resident the best experience possible & make them feel part of the Beaumont family.
Our thanks to the whole team for making this such a positive experience.

My mother came to stay for an initial four week respite care stay following a fall in which she broke her femur. This was extended by a further two weeks to enable her to fully regain her confidence in walking with either a frame or walking sticks. The support that she has been given by the staff
has been excellent, as well as by the visiting physiotherapist.
The home has always been very clean and tidy, and the staff are extremely welcoming. We would have no hesitation in coming back with my mother whether for further respite care or for a longer stay.
Thank you to all the staff, carers and nurses who have made my mother's stay an enjoyable one with minimal stress for her.

Mum has been in the care home for 3 years and during that time the care has been excellent
The staff check in on mum regularly, they always have time for a chat with her visitors.
Food is good with a variety of options.
In 3 years mum skin has been excellent with no pressure sores due to the
care of the staff.

Our mother lived at Beaumont Chorleywood Care Home for over 5 years until her death in February 2025 and was treated by staff with the utmost respect and care at all times. This made her feel safe and at home. Staff were attentive, kind and always willing to respond to requests when asked. Birthdays
and celebrations were well organised and happy occasions. We chose to have both parents' funeral receptions at Beaumont.
As visitors to our mother's care home, we always felt welcome there. The atmosphere at the home is warm and friendly. Our father stayed briefly at Beaumont for respite care in the last month of his life and we were so grateful for the staff's support and sensitivity at the time. Thank you Beaumont Chorleywood!

The activity schedule for December 2024 has been excellent and well-planned for all abilities. There have been many outings, craft opportunities and entertainment events, all of which she has clearly enjoyed. The home has been so welcoming and all the staff show how much they care for their
residents. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they show to my mum. This is her third Christmas and each year the experience has been lovely.

We have been consistently impressed by the standard of care at Barchester Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community since our mother came to live here three years ago. The professionalism and compassion of the staff (and their continuity at the home) is wonderful and it is reassuring to see that our
mother feels well here. She particularly enjoys the food! The staff are responsive to any questions and concerns and as visitors, we are made to feel as included in the life of the home as we wish to be. Christmas celebrations this year were marvellous!

The Christmas lunch was lovely - not just the food but also the decorations and the festive, friendly atmosphere and attitude of the staff. We're grateful that the staff worked on the holiday and made all of us feel welcome.

There is always such a dedicated team that will go above and beyond anything you would expect. Every time you arrive they are always organising and doing something for the residents. Amazing loved, looked after, caring, always exceeding expectations. Good food, clean and happy.

Always bright, clean and full of smiling staff. The home is spacious, really well laid out and still cosy. I've often visited when someone is in leading a singing session. Wonderful! The staff all go above and beyond to make residents comfortable. They are so friendly and chatty. I would recommend
this place to everyone!

I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff here. They look after my grandfather with the utmost respect, care and kindness. Moving from his home was daunting and now he feels so settled and safe. The gardens are beautifully kept, he watches the trees change from his room window. They also have
so many activities and events. Quizzes, visits from therapy animals, crafting, concerts! This keeps him feeling curious and keeps life interesting and fun. Thank you!

The grounds are lovely and they have good outdoor seating areas. The team is very welcoming and friendly. There is a good standard of care. Our parents have been very happy here for two years. We would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good care home. The hospitality team are particularly

I had a great time visiting my grandparents on Boxing Day. The building and grounds are nice and the people are lovely! My grandparents seem happy here which is the main thing. It's also easy to access which is a bonus.

The level of competence and friendliness shown by staff members is a joy for my wife and I.
My mother-in-law resides in the Chorleywood home and finds the staff a joy to have for her care.
Today we had our Christmas dinner with her in the home restaurant and the friendliness, humour and competence
of all those serving us was on a par with many top restaurants.
We are blessed to have them care for our relatives.
