Our mum Shirley was a resident for three months. The care she received at Westgate House was fantastic and the staff were caring, personal and could not have done any more for our mum. they provided great food, entertainment and a friendly atmosphere.They looked after our mum with respect and
dignity right to the end.Thank you to Sanan, Nora, Shibs and Jan for their support of mum and our family.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone at Westgate Nursing Home. From the very beginning, the care and compassion shown to our dad, Arthur, has been outstanding. Every carer is amazing - kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Seeing Arthur's face light up when he sees them says it all. Since moving
from North Middlesex University Hospital six months ago, his wellbeing has improved remarkably, and knowing he's looked after 24/7 gives us such peace of mind. The staff go above and beyond, from fun activities and events to encouraging residents to socialize, creating a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every visit is a pleasure - we are always greeted warmly by reception, nurses, carers, cleaning staff, and management. The home is spotless, the meals are lovely, and every member of staff contributes to making Westgate safe, caring, and happy.
We couldn't be happier with Arthur's care and feel completely reassured that he is in the best possible hands. - Susan, Julie & Jane

Thank you to all the staff at Westgate House. Staff very helpful and treated me with dignity. I have achieved a lot here re: my mobility but still yet a long way to go. But thanks to the physiotherapy department I am well on my way. Thank you all.

The care home was selected by the hospital but it turned out to be a good choice. The management, receptionists and carers were always polite, friendly, helpful and treated us and mum with respect. Mum was unable to join in with many of the activities so I can't really comment on those. We were
happy with the care that mum received and appreciate the help given to us by the Home Manager.

I came to Westgate House for rehabilitation after mini stroke and pneumonia and the care I have received during my stay was excellent. All the staff were kind, caring and helpful at all times and treated me with respect. Physiotherapy staff were professional, patient and understanding and helped me
to regain my strength. I arrived at Westgate House in the ambulance unable to walk and left walking to the car with the frame after just 2 weeks.
Thank you every one, I can recommend this rehabilitation and care home highly.

Following a fall and admission to hospital for 25 weeks I was discharged into the care of Westgate where I learnt to walk, cook, self care etc. In that time I was there (4 weeks) + went from not being able to do anything to being able to function, nearly back to normal. The OT and physio staff were
instrumental in this progress and forever grateful to Debs and Caroline. The cares and nursing team were always very kind to me.

I came in here in a bad state after a fall, dislocating right shoulder, and fracturing left shoulder. The rehab team have been great. They have rebuilt my confidence and look forward to a new life. Overall the staff have been great; very professional.

We found the care from Westgate toward Bill was amazing. Staff were kind and understanding. Staff maintained Bill's dignity throughout his stay. Staff also looked after us as a family as well with kindness and understanding. Bill had a peaceful, dignified passing thanks to the staff on duty. Special

We was so happy with my husband's care while he was at Westgate. Each and every member of staff whatever their status showed care and empathy. Physio was very good and the team interactions were made fun while at the same time beneficial to my husband. Tessa on reception and the young lady at
weekends were very friendly and welcoming. Management and social care kept me and my husband updated and reassured at all times. A lovely place to be.

Lovely clean room includes private toilet/wash facilities. Seating for visitors. Kind staff who do not complain when you press the alarm for assistance. Downside when busy periods are inevitable for fast response. Hospital air beds uncomfortable in the point of becoming painful. All chairs too low
for taller people. Excellent physio equipment and physiotherapist, hairdresser and allowed to have a short trip out to access needed services. Personal body cleaning done with respect by both male and female carers. Can leave things no fear of being taken. Well managed clothes washing.

I came to Westgate House for rehabilitation after an operation to repair two broken bones in my ankle. During these eight weeks, my every need has been catered for with only one or two exceptions. I have been treated with great kindness and sympathy; the staff working efficiently and professionally
throughout. From the receptionist to the laundry and cleaning staff, to the managers from nurses to the carers, the physiotherapist and her helper, as well as the events organiser, everyone has been a part of the team. A traumatic event has proved to be so rewarding.

Wife went in from hosptial after a fall and a blood clot, which left her unable to walk. The physio team were fantastic, giving her plenty of their time. After a few weeks, she was up and walking, all be it with a frame. After being home a few days, she now walks with me, just holding her hand and
no frame. This would not have been possible without their patience and kindness.

Having cared for my wife for nearly 18 months I know what a difficult task your staff have to deal with. I don't think my wife could be in better hands. Your carers and nurses have treated her with the utmost care. The way they have conducted themselves leave nothing to desire. My wife is very fussy
eater but has found the food much to her liking .
