The staff and management have been exceptionally kind and their professionalism turned what was a very stressful time for my husband and me into a calming and positive experience on his admission. I cannot fault their care and they go out of their way to ensure residents feel at home and safe in their surroundings.
I have nothing but admiration for the care that my sister receives at Brabourne. The staff are wonderful, kind and always patient and caring. Thank you so much for everything you do for her.
Mum was in Brabourne for just over 2 years. We found every one friendly and helpful, nothing was too much effort. All the staff spoke when you visited. When mum passed we were still welcomed and everyone offered their condolences. Mums care was excellent and she was treated with dignity. Cannot comment on value for money as mums care was paid for by a third party.

My mother came to Brabourne Care Centre at the end of her life in December 2024. From the moment I met one staff member in particular who showed me around - completely unannounced - to the time my mother passed away, I have been treated with such kindness and compassion. The care given by the staff to my mother has been excellent. Every single member of staff, including reception, catering, well being, nursing and care assistants all should be commended.
After being a frequent visitor,I have nothing but praise and thanks for the team who have been caring for my sister.everyone takes pride in the job they have to do,from the nurses, carers, cleaners, wellbeing team, catering, laundry and reception.all have been amazing and given the very best care to my sister while she was with them.as a family we can't thank them enough for the dignity, respect and first class care she received. The care my husband receives is excellent, he has several medical issues and also mental health problems but the carers are absolutely brilliant with him and he can be challenging.
The care/compassion/thoughtfulness/treatment of my father surroundings by staff have been of the up most care. My father is very verbal, if there was anything untoward I can assure you! It will/should be aired and addressed. Everyone wishes for their family members to be safe. I can asure you in his words, "I love it here".

My aunt recently died suddenly after 8 years in Brabourne Care Centre. I have nothing but praise for the time she spent there and the wonderful staff who gave so much more than their care! Having retired from the NHS after 41 years in both nursing and managerial roles I can say without question the Brabourne Care Centre is the best home that I have ever visited or worked in over those years! All of the staff give so much more to the residents and the welcoming and professional way in which they all perform their duties is absolutely amazing. My aunt loved being part of the Brabourne family and both myself and my family were all included in that. Thank you Brabourne Care Centre for providing such a memorable time for the last years of her life.
My mother-in-law celebrated her 87th birthday on the 11th January 2025, we wanted to organise some music and have her family and friends attend for the music and an afternoon tea. The request for this to happen was welcomed and encouraged by the manager. All the staff became part of the celebration and other residents were invited to join and had a lovely afternoon. All the staff, including a member of staff from the catering side, worked so hard to set out the tea and make my mother-in-law's birthday so special. The entertainment staff during the afternoon worked hard to bring fun and laughter to the event. As a family, we thank you all at Brabourne Care Centre and look forward to doing another gathering soon. Regards.
After several falls and a stay in hospital, I moved Mum from South Wales to Brabourne Care Centre to be near us. It was a very stressful time as Mum hated losing her independence and moving from her beloved home. She was very frail when she first moved there but within a few months, she was eating well and starting to enjoy life and particularly enjoyed sitting out in the garden and joining the activities. I cannot fault the care Mum had in the time she was there. There was always a warm welcome from the reception staff. Sadly, Mum's dementia deteriorated but the care she had in the last few months of her life was outstanding.
