View Full Details of Creedy HouseMy dad moved from another care home into Creedy House. I had been unhappy with the previous home from lack of care and stimulation and activities. Also lack of full knowledge of Type 1 diabetes and the provision needed to care for my dad with diabetes and other age related illnesses. On arriving at Creedy House my family and dad were made very welcome and reassured of care and understanding of his needs. I was finally content to elae my dad in a professional setting and care of others. My dad passed 3 weeks after arriving and was happy he had moved and given the respect and care at the end of his life.
Creedy House is a superb, well presented nursing/care home. The manager is so hands on and devoted to her residents and likewise her staff. My mother and my father were very comfortable here. I can rest assured that they are cared for with compassion and dignity. I would recommend Creedy House without hesitation.
The staff are very friendly and looked after my husband really well. He was not able to join in some activities due to poor eyesight, but they tried to find things for him to do - exercises, etc. The food was usually very well presented, and staff were on hand to help if necessary. His room was comfortable and airy. The garden was well maintained and nice to sit out in on good days.
Mum seems to be very happy & settled at Creedy House. The staff all seem really friendly and seem to care for the residents.
I am a visitor to see my friend. He is well looked after.
Our family have been delighted with the care my mother in law has received. We have been so very impressed by the expertise of the staff. We can totally relax now, which we couldn't do previously. It is a great relief for me to see her stress level reduce and no longer looking traumatised and shell-shocked. At each visit, we see the same staff and they know my mother in law so well. Thank you all for caring for my mother in law so well.
My mum has been at Creedy Care Home now for 12 years and she has received the best care that anyone could ask for their loved ones my mum has been none verbal now for a few years but all the staff that care for her understand when she is not her normal self or when she has been ill and in some cases very poorly but because of the care she receives that is why she is still with us thankfully and all the staff are brilliant and friendly and easy to approach if I have any questions to ask and they always keep me informed of any changes to my mum which helps me understand her illness better i honestly believe the care that she receives is the reason she is still with us
It is a lovely nursing home. The nurses and carers are great, and really care about the residents. There seem to be lots of activities for the residents, and many visitors - even a pony! There are singers, chair aerobics, sing-a-longs and artists that give art lessons. It's a bright, cheery place with a good energy about it.
Its so good to see the daily interaction between staff and the residents. On so many occasions I see my wife befriended and actively included with them during their daily tasks. Its also not a problem to just pop your head into the office for a quick catch regarding any ongoing situations that may have occurred and be listened to and appropriate action taken where necessary.
There are doing a great job and I am always made to feel welcome by everyone and feel I have a good relationship with the staff and they always keep me informed of events and any information I might need in regards to my dad. They send me photos of anything special he takes part in and I am very happy with the care he receives.
The staff at the nursing home are attentive to the residents needs at all times. The staff are kind, reassuring and extremely patient in their dealings with all residents. The staff are also very friendly to visitors; offering information or refreshment that is required. Creedy House is kept very clean and well maintained indoors. There are many items of interest on the walls intended to trigger happy memories for all. I am confident in leaving my loved one in their care.
The Manger and her team are amazing. The looked after my Father extremely well and attended to all his needs. They always had a chat with family when visiting and made us all feel relaxed and happy that my Father was being cared for in a caring way. The team talked to my Father as though he was a friend and it was lovely to see my Father smile at them when chatting. Creedy House is highly recommended.
My mother has been a resident at Creedy House for nearly three years. She seems very happy there and enjoys the activities offered, particularly anything music related. The staff are very good with her, treating her with kindness, dignity and respect.
We are very pleased with the way everything is done here. We call and visit on the same day with no problem. My mother-in-law is comfortable and well looked after. The room and she smell nice and clean. The staff are friendly.
Very good.
I've found that since my wife has been in care at Creedy House she is so much calmer and settled than she has been for the past 15 months. She's only been here for a couple of months and I'm very happy with her care, well-being, and attention given by all the staff. Most excellent!
My husband's care at Creedy House has been exemplary. He has settled in well and the care staff are kind, caring, and friendly. The staff send photos and are always willing to share information and keep me up to date with my husband's care. My husband is happy and I am very pleased with the care he is getting.
The staff are very helpful always someone there when I leave to take care of my husband and settle him down as he gets very agitated when I'm about to leave. My husband enjoys the activities and when I'm there and it's music he loves to have a dance with me and a lot of the colouring he has done is put up on the walls. I cannot find fault in Creedy at all.
My father has now been at Creedy House for just over one year. He is happy and settled and I am very pleased with the care that he receives. Staff are always pleasant and courteous to both myself and my father and they have made what was a stressful situation so much easier to cope with.
Dad has been a resident at Creedy House for just over six months and has settled in well. The manager is approachable and has been supportive of us as a family. Dad's mobility issues have been addressed and although his physical and emotional needs are changing the staff have adapted with compassion and understanding. The home is welcoming, and clean and the staff are both professional and friendly.
