Visited my relative in room 12. Offered tea or coffee during the visit. Spoke to various care staff. Spoke to finance manager and office admin.
Thanks so much to Staplehurst Manor, who looked after my 80 year old mother whilst she recovered from a stroke. 15 months of wonderful care. Hard to find a fault! This is easily the nicest and best care home I have ever visited.
A lovely care home and the staff and management are really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it , food is really good and lots of activities for the residents to join in. They are checked on regularly if they stay in their rooms.
I have been taking my labrador Mika as a dog therapy once a month for over a year to Staplehust Manor, and I have been extremly impressed by the care, compassion and consideration shown to all the residents by all the staff. The home is immaculately clean and welcoming with flowers, and the food offered is of the highest standard. It does not feel like a nursing home, more like a real home, where if necessary, I would be more than happy to live.
Very good.
Staff would not have been more helpful!
My mum is very well cared for, enjoys the good food and activities. I am assured mum is living her best life.
My aunt became a resident in mid-September 2024, having broken her hip in a fall at home and subsequent surgery in late August. At 97, with increasing sight and hearing deficiencies, she has settles in well having been used to living on her own for 5 years after being widowed. The staff are caring, the home is almost spotless and the rooms are spacious.
Caring and loving. Always on hand to assist with individual needs. Such a friendly environment and always willing to help. I couldn't have wished for better care for my Father.
The period after Christmas can be quite depressing. The staff at Staplehurst Manor Care Home go above and beyond to engage residents in daily activities, great imagination and creativity are used to create a wonderful series of interacting and engaging activities. Senior activity coordinator, is an incredible asset to Staplehurst.
My mother-in-law moved into Staplehurst Manor Care Home during the summer. From day one she has been delighted by the caring family feel, amazing home cooked food and the excellent activities and entertainment. The staff are all so wonderful, caring and friendly, a real highlight of the home. It's been such a relief to us to have found such a special place.
My thanks to the wonderful team at Staplehurst Manor Care Home. My uncle moved in during 2023 and was very happy there. He trusted the staff, whom he said just 'quietly got things done'. From my perspective, I liked the fact that they talked to him not me, about what he wanted. It was one of the only places that did that when we looked at homes with him. He did like the aesthetics of the manor buildings, he was rather delighted to live in a manor. Although he had a very small room, it had a lovely outlook over the garden. Although he could have moved to a larger room, he decided not to, and personalised his with his pictures, books, ornaments, and wine rack! Throughout his time there he had support for his many particular interests including helping setting up his attendance at his beloved online lectures. He appreciated the outside grounds and enjoyed the poetry sessions in particular. He said that the food was in abundance and the homemade cakes.
My Mother is very happy at Staplehurst Manor Care Home. All the staff are friendly and kind, they all appear to really enjoy their work and it shows with the care they show the residents. The food is delicious and the chef speaks to all the residents individually to plan their week's meal. The activities are well thought out and include everyone no matter what their mobility is.
Finding conversations with other residents and staff difficult because of my impaired hearing.
I enjoyed a lovely traditional Christmas lunch in the company of my Knit and Natter friends and the residents of Staplehurst Manor Care Home on the 3rd of December. We were treated royally and had a very happy time.
Great care and patience shown to my Mum. It's such a relief to know she is safe and cared for.
My Dad was discharged from Tunbridge Wells Hospital to Staplehurst Manor Care Home for end-of-life care. With his determination and their excellent care we were able to bring him home at the end of June 2024 as he wanted to be in his own home. He is still doing remarkably well 3 months on. I can't thank the staff enough for their help and kindness and for helping us through the maze of organising a care package at home.
Friendly atmosphere with a hotel feeling. Clean and tidy. Staff respond when called. I am pleased to have this opportunity to reflect on the home.
The best thing I could have done was put myself into repsite care at Staplehurst Manor Care Home. They got me back on my feet again and back to my normal activities.
