After 4 days in hospital following surgery for a broken ankle I came to Staplehurst Manor for 2 weeks recovery.
From the moment I arrived I was treated with the highest degree of professionaliam. Especially regarding my medication. The staff could not have been kinder.
The food was excellent, well prepared and tasty and if visitors came while tea or coffee was being served, they were always offered a cup.

This is not the first time I have had connection here. My cousin spent his final days at Staplehurst Manor and he was very happy

This is an excellent care home, probably the best in the area.
My mother has been a resident here for nearly six years and is very happy.

She is no longer lonely, has made lots of friends and there is always something going on and to look forward to. Recently there was a trip to a shopping centre, she regularly has a manicure and a new cafe has been opened. Would highly recommend Staplehurst Manor.

I cannot recommend Staplehurst Manor highly enough. Not only are the facilities and food to an excellent standard but, more importantly , the staff without exception to date are kind, patient, caring and sunny whilst also maintaining professionalism. My mother came to stay for nine days respite. The staff were very kind and caring and made mum very welcome indeed. The residence is delightful, very clean and homely with very high standard of food and entertainment for all abilities and interests. Mum was very happy with her stay and looks forward to hopefully another stay this summer.

Once again the team at The Manor continues to amaze us with their care and the opportunities available to Dad. Having enjoyed all the Christmas activities and visits from village organisations, Dad was thinking January would be quiet. Quite the contrary, he and his fellow residents have absolutely loved preparing for, and then dressing up in their finest attire for the Hollywood party, as well as celebrating Burns Night and all the regular clubs and events.
We greatly appreciate the individual care Dad receives. He absolutely loves his interactions with every member of staff, and is thriving on the shared humour.

We love popping in and seeing everyone, it is just like visiting family.

I chose Staplehurst Manor Care Home because it had excellent reviews and offered post operative convalescent care. My stay was just for three weeks to help me through the early part of my rehabilitation. From the start I was made to feel most welcome and found the staff to be extremely kind and attentive. The room was clean and had everything I needed, the food was good and the management team was very approachable and helpful. I would certainly recommend Staplehurst Manor for either a short or longer stay.

Once again the two activities staff have excelled themselves. With the Hollywood walk of fame, dressing up party, with mocktails, dancing, a crooner, and even miniature Oscar statues, for the winners. With the pub quiz afternoons, with the bar open, which have been a great success. Every day there is something interesting to look forward to. Some days the kitchen help, we make amazing pizzas or shortbread, or even fat and seed balls for the birds.

I was niece to Barbara who was in your care long time for end of life care. My aunt had end of life COPD the staff were great looking after my Aunty. Aunty was so well cared for and happy at the home. When she passed, my Aunty was treated with total dignity and my family also cared for. Sorry for delay, coping with our loss of Aunty.

I take my dog Mika every month to visit the residents of Staplehurst Manor, and I am always impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the care and attention that they give to each and everyone there. The home really is a home, it is beautifully designed, and the food is fresh, and although I have never eaten it, it looks delicious. The residents always say how well cooked and tasty it is. The grounds are beautifully kept, and very attractive. Each person is given individual attention and their needs are catered for and nothing is too much trouble for the well trained staff. I can't compliment them too highly.
