Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I cannot praise the staff on 'Victoria' enough. The end-of-life care that my mum received was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble from the carers down to the entertainment staff & cleaners. All showed love & compassion to my mum & support to myself & family members. Thank you does not seem enough,
but I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My aunt moved into Copper Beech Care Home at the beginning of January. We are incredibly happy with the home, every day the manager checks in with my aunt and all th staff are incredibly thoughtful & kind. We feel that Jill is in very safe hands. she enjoys the activities, run by the very hardworking
Tia and the home also has a toddler group in the home every Wednesday morning. A great deal of thought goes into the care provided to my aunt & the staff really do give us time to communicate with them.

Pebble Mill Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
While Pebble Mill is a Care Home and Nursing Home, in offering residential accommodation, it's a great place for convalescence. It offers exactly what you need, to recover from fractures, a lovely warm bed/sitting room (with orthopaedic bed) and wet room bathroom, overlooking the well-tended garden,
all on one level, with corridors to practice using crutches. It's like a well-furnished modern 4* hotel, yet with lovely care and admin staff who offer the help you need, plus attentive medical care, from Nursing Staff and visiting doctor. Private physiotherapists are available. A salon and a hairdresser is available but you can call in your own and your own chiropodist. Rooms cleaned daily, bedding regularly changed, personal laundry done for you. Food is very wholesome, freshly home-cooked, on the premises. Eat in your room or in the dining room next to the lounge, join organised activities. There's also a mid-morning and afternoon tea and coffee trolley service. I highly recommend it.

Very caring staff, friendly and warming. Clean. Medical care on hand and make my Auntie feel safe.
It would be easier if the home would provide travel to hospital at no extra cost as the amount of money they pay a month should include this service.

Dean Wood Care Home

Dad stayed at Dean Wood for just over two years on the Clarence floor. We could not have asked for a more thoughtful and caring group of people to care for him over that time.

The staff were very attentive to his changing needs over that time. He grew more more fragile and at every step the staff

moved swiftly and professionally to ensure he was safe and happy.

The afternoon events were always a highlight so it was 'Not Unusal' to find Tom Jones songs lilting out from the common room, or to see magicians making things appear and disappear or groups of happy children bonding with the residents!

The ever-present nurses and the doctor were always on hand to ensure that the medication was appropriate, available and reliably administered for his developing conditions.

There was always a smiling face at reception to welcome us and other visitors in, come rain or shine.

We whole heartedly recommend Dean Wood and all its staff including managers, administration, reception, nurses, carers

I have been very pleased with the care my father is receiving, all the staff seem to be very caring, and the medical staff have been excellent at keeping us in touch with any issues. We realise that our living overseas makes communication difficult, but the staff are understanding and helpful in providing
assistance in this regard.
My father has also said he is very happy with the quality of the food provided and the regular activities.

Dad enjoyed his stay at Canning Court. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and encouraged him to be as independent as he could safely.
Dad felt comfortable and relaxed which made his recovery time from hospital half of what we expected it to be.
I would recommend Canning Court for the support
they gave my dad as well as the help and support given to me.
The place was clean, the staff personable, the food good and support outstanding. Thank you

Mum is settled in and has made many friends, she enjoys the activities and has amazing views over hills down to the sea from her modern, spacious bedroom with it's large, private ensuite. She has fun with the carers and most importantly, she (and we) trust the carers to look after Mum. We know she is
safe and being well looked after and she has good fun with the lovely carers who always seem to be happy and enjoying their work.

The Lawns Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
As a resident living with a spinal cord injury, I have had a very positive experience at this care home. The staff clearly understand the complexities of spinal cord care and consistently provide support with professionalism, skill, and respect.

My dignity, independence, and personal routines are

always respected. Staff are attentive to pressure care, positioning, and timely assistance, and I am listened to and involved in decisions about my care.

The home is exceptionally well led under the leadership of Chris, whose commitment to high standards and compassionate, person-centred care is reflected in the quality and consistency of support provided.

The environment is clean, calm, and well organised. Living with a spinal cord injury brings daily challenges, but this home has made them easier to manage. I feel safe, supported, and respected, and I would confidently recommend this care home.

When mum came to Manor Court in December, she really brightened up! The staff have been so caring and supportive. The care given is exceptional. Mum's condition means that she is deteriorating, but the staff keep her comfortable and treat her with dignity. Mum's taste for food changes, and she wants
home-cooked meals. The staff here try to cater for her needs, but mum isn't eating very much.
