Manley Court Care Home

from Kay W (Daughter of Resident) published on 19 August 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

We were initially sceptical to have mum admitted to Manley Court as she'd had the most awful experience at a previous non-Bupa home. However, after a visit to the home and meeting some of the staff we decided to give it a go.
We are so pleased we did.
Mum has settled so very well, her room is lovely
and the unit she is on; Primrose is so quiet.
The staff are kind and caring and very attentive and even make sure dad is alright when we take him to visit.
Mum has also made a couple of friends amongst the other residents.
She's eating really well as the food is varied and nutritious and has put on a little bit of weight which for our mum is amazing.
It has turned out to be the perfect place for mum and we are so impressed with everything about it. Thank you to all the staff for the exceptional work you do.

My aunt has been at brunswick for the last 2 years she enjoys the entertainment and different activities.
She is well looked after and if there is ever a problem staff are always happy to call me and sort it out.
I get regular updates by phone call and have the chance to bring up any problems we
may have.
My aunt is still able to keep some of her independence which was key for us.

The Sidcup Care Home

from Keith W (Son of Resident) published on 18 August 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5

Overall a good experience as my mum enjoyed her respite. Her room was clean + spacious with en-suite shower. Activities were daily and fairly well attended. Mum really enjoyed her meals that were served in the restaurant. They were varied with plenty of choice. I was disappointed on the level of nursing
care on her legs, as limited care appeared to be given and on departure I took mum to A&E and she is still in hospital. (at least 10 days) and counting. Feedback to Care Home has been given. The staff were very friendly and appeared to enjoy their jobs at Sidcup Care Home.

My mother received really excellent end-of-life care at Westcombe Park Care Home. All the staff were very kind and caring and gave every support to my mother and also to all the family when we visited. We would highly recommend this home, as well as all the staff, especially the excellent manager.

My sister has been at the Lindsay for two weeks. I have been very impressed with the staff and the facilities . The caregivers are all friendly and has made my sister feel at home. I am welcomed whenever I come to visit, and having shared a meal with her, I was very impressed with the food. I was

The Manor House Care Home

I looked at several care homes in the Wirral area and settled on this one. My father couldn't be happier. The carers, nurses, caterers, housekeeping staff and managers are all fantastic and provide the highest possible care for my Dad. There are lots of activities for the residents to choose from and
the grounds of the home are a lovely way to spend time outside. My father enjoys watching the bowls at the weekend and he particularly enjoys the meals provided whilst sitting in the dining room with his new friends. This home is highly recommended.

The Kensington Care Home

from Alan P (Resident) published on 15 August 2025

I arrived on 4/6/25. I was walking only with the assistance of a frame and therefore moving with difficulty. I shall leave on 20/7/25 walking using only a walking stick and ask to walk easily and competently. My physio treatment has in particularly helped me but I have also profited greatly of the beautiful
grounds of the care home which I have been able to use consistently for exercise. I have been treated with great confidence and kindness.

Dean Wood Care Home

from Sarah C (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 14 August 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My father-in-law's stay at the home was sadly much shorter than we had hoped for but in the time he was there he was treated with warmth, kindness and dignity and we are very grateful that he was so well looked after.

When we were looking for care homes we only had a tour of Dean Wood because once

we had seen it we knew it was going to be the right place for him - everyone we met really did have his best interests at heart, the building had great facilities and it was really clean. And the sea view is amazing!

I'd like to particularly mention two staff members in particular for making my father-in-law so welcome and part of the community.
