My Mum had 3yrs plus here in beech House The staff are amazing hard working and caring. Then Beech house got closed which was disgusting 4 very vulnerable people most on end of life got there eviction letter .We had 4 weeks to find a new home the care home didn't help it was mums family and finally
the local council .Mum had a horrendous move she got to new carehome terrified she had dementia and no thought towards mum was given for the moved .She moved to a amazing carehome outstanding all round .but through the stress of the move she sadly passed away with in 4 weeks .I always thought bupa was the best but no way SHAME ON BUPA AND CHILTON MEADOWS

We regularly review our homes to assess their suitability for providing high quality care for residents. Unfortunately, our review found that we could not continue to meet those standards on Beech Unit at Chilton Meadows, we therefore had to make the difficult decision to close the unit. We worked with all those affected to make sure they were able to find a suitable new home. We are glad to hear that the staff at Chilton Meadows were hard working and caring as we always strive to offer the best possible care.

My Mum spent her final years at Chiltern Meadows. Living overseas we had been very worried about the care Mum had been getting at home and a social worker found this home. From day one we realized the nursing staff were so caring and thoughtful and we felt Mum was safe, happy and finally being looked
after properly. But even the office staff, gardeners, kitchen team, everyone, I can't say enough how wonderful they all are. They would make sure mum had daily visits, would bring their dogs to see her, always made sure she had bird feeders filled by her window. If you are looking for a home that goes above and beyond this is the place to choose. I don't think I can put into words how thankful we will always be to the staff there they really made it a home from home for our dear Mum

Apart from minor hiccups the staff are courteous and friendly. We have a laugh sometimes - I find most of the staff kind and helpful and have settled into Gainsborough House very well. I will have been here for 2 years in April - I am now 97 years old.

I feel that Mum has settled well into the care home. I have always found it to be very clean and every member of staff are always kind and friendly and always help Mum. There are always lots of activities going on and mum has joined in with a lot of them. Mum has said there is plenty of food and if
you don't like what is on the menu you can have something else. I definitely feel like Mum is very well looked after by staff who genuinely care.

Carers, nurses & staff are friendly & very helpful when they have the time as they are always busy looking after someone. I have tried to move my mum into a room with a bigger window but always got snubbed by the manager, apart from that all is good.

Mum has been here for nearly two years now and I have nothing but praise for the care she has been given. The carers are very understanding of her dementia and physical needs and nothing is too much trouble for them. The entertainment team are also amazing. Mum particularly loves the musical entertainment
and playing Bingo but has also taken part in baking, painting and flower arranging. Everyone is also very friendly and welcoming to all family visitors so we all feel like one big family. The variety of food is also very good, especially with her dietary needs.

Living over seas and knowing your Mother is safe and cared for there are no words to explain the true depth of gratitude my sister and I have to Chilton Meadows. From the day my mother was transferred from hospital after a very lengthy stay she was made to feel safe and seen. I will never forget walking
into her room the second day she had arrived and finding her so frail, but within a week the nurses had her eating, smiling and her confidence was slowly starting to come back. Even though she never left her room ALL the staff where so caring and would pop in for a chat with Mum and her last years she was not lonely and felt so safe which is so important. The dignity and grace they gave my Mother her last days was wonderful. Thank you to you all.

My mum was a resident at Chilton Meadows for 2 years until her passing last August, during which time I visited her almost every day. At all times both Mum and we as a family were treated with the utmost respect and love. During her final days we were wrapped up in love and care, thereby making what
was a devastating time more bearable to cope with. Many of the staff have become special friends. Since her passing I have become a volunteer and my visits feel like being welcomed back into a close family. My dad was a resident some 15 years ago and the care was excellent then too, in fact some original staff remain the same from then to today, which says it all! I jave no hesitation in recommending the home to others.

My elderly mother needed nursing care after discharge from another hospital stay and we chose Chilton Meadows as it had an available bed and was quite local. We are so glad that we did, as the care and attention shown to her, and us as a family, over her last weeks was amazing. We could not have asked
for more.
All the staff went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable, clean, and as happy as she could be and when we came to visit her made us feel very welcome. When she passed away, they were very supportive of us all and allowed us time and space both to be with her and also to sit and grieve. We cannot thank the manager and her team enough for helping her last days to be the best that they could be.

Our experience with Chiltern Meadows was only for a few weeks, but was at a time leading up to our mother's death.

Our experience was only positive.

Mum was moved to Chilton Meadows from hospital as she needed constant care and help, beyond what we were able to give her as family. From day

one we knew she was in good and caring hands.

All the staff were really attentive and took a genuine interest, to ensure she was as comfortable and cared for as she could be. She was checked regularly, and with respect.

What also struck us, was the way the staff made us, as family, feel cared for. Always a friendly greeting or " can I help you", which made our experience so much easier.

Thank you to everyone at Chiltern Meadows for all your care, concern and guidance.

We would not hesitate to recommend.

My father in law spent just over the last years of his life at Chilton Meadows Care Home, Constable House. From looking round to his last day the home and staff could not have been better. They recognised what a tough time it was, and made his moving in so smooth. They cared for him superbly, getting
to know him and his needs. All the staff were caring and we could not have wished for better. Particular thanks to the carer who went above and beyond. When he entered the last days of his life after another big stroke they palliated him superbly, respecting his wishes, keeping him comfortable, and caring for the family. Thank you all so much.

My mother moved to Chilton Meadows in February this year. She has cancer in several parts of her body and is unable to continue living independently. From the very first moment she arrived, her care has been exemplary. The team at Constable House asked for some information about Mum's life so they could
have meaningful conversations with her. She has been and continues to be treated with the utmost respect and love. I am so happy we found Chilton Meadows where Mum is happy, comfortable, and above all, cared for in a family environment.
