My husband has been in Wilton Manor Care Home for one month.
I cannot speak highly enough of this home. The manager and staff are the most professional, caring people I have ever come across. All the residents are treated with dignity, respect, and love. The nursing team provide a duty of care to
an exceptional high standard, which, for me, having been a nurse, is so important. So love Wilton Manor.

Since my parents have moved into Knights Grove initially Mum followed recently by Dad. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience as a family. The care, patience and concern shown to myself as well as my parents by all the staff is priceless. Nothing is too much trouble . I am kept informed of relevant
information regarding my parents .
I appreciate that all the staff know us by name and no matter how busy they are they always have a smile and time to check in on how we are.
I have been gifted a second chance to be my parents daughter not their exhausted carer.

Overall we have been pleased with the care home but we have had to monitor and chase up some care that was needed. Mum came here to be helped to get mobile but we have had to request this on a daily basis.
Evening handover time is a problem as not enough staff on duty.
Difficulty to get into the
home in the evenings.

After a 10 week stay in hospital I had the opportunity of respite in Maypole Care Home. Within 3 days I made my mind up to make my stay permanent. For the first time in months I felt safe, care was available whenever I needed it day or night instead of waiting for my external helpers to arrive.

My mother has been at Oak Lodge for four and a half years and has been looked after so well by all the staff and nothing is missed or too much trouble. My mother has enjoyed all the activities on offer over the years and her one hundred and third birthday party was amazing, having the local MP and the
Mayor as guests, thanks so much.

My experience with Maypole has been positive. The staff are attentive, compassionate and always take time to ensure resident (my father) are comfortable and cared for. My dad has vascular dementia and he's losing the ability to communicate. So it really depends on the care that Maypole provides. I always
find my dad is fresh and clean, context and he seems to setting down here in Maypole well. The only downside is that the relative gateway stopped available to family since Nov 2024 so we cannot look at care note while I'm away from my dad. I used to look at the carer's note everyday, so I know what my dad has been done everyday.

It's coming up a year since my mum became a resident at Freelands. The Care is beyond amazing and staff are so lovely and generous. The home loves the interaction with the residents family so that gives us a sense of belonging and involved with our loved one. Nothing is too much for any of the staff.
Staff are trained but also take their time to get to know the residents first that one on one care. Management are extremely approachable and the office is right by reception. They are not behind closed doors they are also looking in on residents also and love to interact with family members. I'm so grateful for the ongoing fabulous care Freelands gives my mum. Gives my family such peace of mind. Thank you to all at Freelands.
