Oak Lodge has been amazing with my dad. The team are amazing, always treating my dad with dignity and respect, my dad has choices in every situation. Catering can be questionable at times but cater for everyone. My only criticism is there could be more interacting activities for the more able like my
dad.

I found the room my husband is in to be clean and fresh every time I visit, he is also well looked after, also I did have a walk around all the floors and rooms, were in good order and very clean. The carers all are polite and do their best for the residents. It is also good that the amount of activities
that they have through the years indoor, and outside when weather permitting.

I feel it would be beneficial if people suffering from dementia of the same level was situated on one floor this would give people the comfort of companionship similar to a care provider. Activities could be organised for the more able bodied patients. If the floors of the home was better organised
changing staff, by putting them on different floors to work has a huge impact on people with dementia. Familiar faces are so important to the patient. I have raised this with the manager of the home.

My mum has been a resident at Freelands Croft since August 2024.
The home has been very welcoming right from the first day.
My mums level of care is amazing which puts myself my father and sisters mind at rest that she is getting the best possible care.
Staff are very attentive to her needs.
The
ladies on Reception Sarah and Mary are always a joy to see as I'm signing in . Luna the deputy
The homes manager is very hands on and knowledgeable on every one of the residents. Her office door is always open if we need to speak to her or she's just an email away.
They have a great range of activities available for the residents and family members join in if they so wish . The home offers a once a month coffee morning on the first Sunday of the month which I love to attend .
The food is of a very high standard and creatively thought out With vegetarian options available at every meal time. The Chef likes to interact with the residents as well . Thanks to all and to Luna deputy manager

My husband came to Wilton Manor after a long stay in hospital where his care was barely adequate in my opinion. Since being at WM he is mych improved, his weight is better, he is more often alert and responsive and he can feed and drink with a little support. He has dementia and so there are good and
bad days. When he was in hospital there were only bad and worse days. He gets good care and he loves Lucy and Laura almost as much as his cuddly toys.

My husband at last seems to get involved with activities, but without his hearing aids in he finds it difficult to participate. He was enjoying the colouring sheets but the supply seems to have stopped I provide some but he likes to have two sheets to work on.
I take him out on most of my visits so
that he gets some exercise, he seems to think because of the problem of falling asleep he has to be supervised.

My mother has been living at Knights Grove for almost 2 years, since moving in she has been looked after with the utmost kindness and respect. The nursing and care staff treat her with dignity and humour and the lovely activities ladies ensure that she is entertained and stimulated. There is a great
range of activities to cater for all the residents needs, including day trips out. I live overseas and it was a huge decision to choose a home but I honestly could not be happier with my decision. I visit as often as distance allows and am always welcomed and I talk regularly to my mother who is happier than she has been for some time. The home is clean and well run with excellent meals. Knights Grove is a wonderful care home with incredible staff who show love and care towards the residents, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
