In my job that was I have been in a lot of care homes Queensmount is by far the best.

Queensmount is a very warm and friendly environment. The staff are friendly, trained, and always helpful. My mother-in-law loves Queensmount.

My friend is a resident there & she is looked after very well, staff & food , entertainment 100% a lovely home with access for friends / relatives to help themselves to hot / cold drinks .set in a lovely area with a golf club park opposite,,

I have been visiting an old friend of mine, who has been in the care home for a few months. What a beautiful home. The staff are wonderful. The home is beautiful. I rate this home 100%. I cannot find a single fault. Well done to all the staff.

My seventh stay here, this time for respite and once again very well looked after. I am sure there will be an eighth time, and get my usual welcome back.

Very friendly warm staff without exception, both night shift and especially day shift, encouraging me with smiles to start rebuilding leg and muscle strength with Zimmer-aided walks along the ground floor corridor and in the small sculpted garden. Food was plentiful, usually very tasty; some first choices ran out. It was my first time needing convalescence care in a home. I think I was the only short-break care patient and the experience was surprisingly pleasant. I enjoyed the Friday communal singing afternoon. My family rallied round to find me this care; I'd had 2 falls at home and was admitted to Hospital for an operation to repair tendon damage but also for further tests. I stayed for the first three and a half weeks after my operation (an intermediary CHS acting as a kind of 'speed dating bureau' between patients leaving hospital soon and homes local to the hospital having convalescent care vacancies the patient/ family are prepared to pay for, found me the room).

Caring friendly Staff Very Welcoming

From the moment of my first visit I was impressed. I knew I had to transfer my brother here from a care home up north. The communication and assistance to complete this transfer was excellent. All the staff here are friendly, considerate, polite and mainly treat my brother as a human being worthy of dignity and care. Nothing is too much trouble. I am blown away with the level of care. Thank you everyone.

There are a range of activities which are very suitable for her dementia. Overall, I am very happy that her need are being fully met.

5 star hotel with 5 star care. Lovely people and facilities. Food maybe a little modest.

Mum moved into the Lindsay in May 2026 since she moved in she has been with kindest and respect at all times. All staff including the chefs have taken great to ensure all her needs are met. All staff encourage mum to participate in activities, express her choices and preferences. The welcoming friendly experience starts as soon as you walk through the door and nothing is too much trouble.

My stepfather's needs and daily nursing care is provided for at the highest level here at The Links thanks to their friendly, conscientious and approachable team of staff. You are all most gratefully appreciated; from the reception staff, caretakers, manager, catering, cleaners, carers and nursing staff. Thank you.

My mother was a resident for over 4 years. This is an excellent, well-run home with friendly, capable and efficient staff throughout who always seemed to be happy to go the extra mile for the residents' benefit. However, the one negative was the massive fee increases. In 4 years, the fees increased by 50%. I realise there has been inflation and costs rise, these rises seem excessive and had my mother lived longer, she may have had to move as this was draining her savings rapidly.

My friend is happy in The Links. Staff are amazing - food is great. Range of activities is wonderful.

Mention the word 'care home' can have a very daunting thought, however, I visited The Lindsay Care Home, unannounced and quite nervous, only to be greeted very warmly by a lovely lady who instantly put me at ease. I was given a comprehensive tour of the home and delt it would be a perfect place for my husband's requirements. Two weeks later I feel very happy with my choice. The manager is very approachable. The chef is amazing serving food to a high standard, how many care homes offer a full English! The caregivers are patient and very understanding. Well done to all the staff at The Lindsay for going the extra mile!

Just celebrated my Mums 101st Birthday at Queensmount. The staff are all so kind and once again went out of their way to make mums day special and memorable for us all. We really appreciate all that they do for mum all year around and for us the family on such fantastic occasions as these.

The Links manager and staff have always been friendly, helpful and professional from the first visit, through wife's death and settling into home and finally David's death in Decemeber. Our wishes and requests were acted on quickly and sensitively. David settled well and was always grateful for such a nice place to live. Friends and family always felt welcomed for visits anytime. David was encouraged to join in with activities and had some fun times both in the home and on outings. Thank you all at The Links for everything you did.

My mother was a resident at the Bupa The Links Care Home for 3 years until her death. She received very good care, and the staff were all very caring and supportive during her final years. Mum truly appreciated the lovely staff, and felt safe and relaxed. The staff were also very supportive of our family. The staff have our gratitude.
