My mum has been in Brookview for 4 years and the care and compassion that every single person that works there shows continuously every day & night is up and above anything I have ever known. The staff are so friendly and caring not just for Mum but me also which is needed at times during this stressfull
time. I'm so happy Mum is in here perfect in every aspect. Highly valued care home, amenities and care is top class. Food excellent, entertainment is so amazing so much to keep everyone entertained & varied every week - Generally overall 100+%. Thanks to all.

Since my father moved into the care home, his health issues have been managed very well and his overall health has improved significantly. He is thoroughly enjoying the daily care, attention, and support he receives from the staff. The regular entertainment and activities provide excellent physical
and mental stimulation, helping him stay engaged and active. Whenever we visit, we are always made to feel very welcome, and it is reassuring to see how happy and well cared for he is.

Went in for 2 weeks' rest/respite. Pleasant room and spotless, as was the rest of the residential areas. Lovely views (was fortunate with sunny weather). Food rather disappointing. Mattress rather uncomfortable. Staff were very kind. They need to have some way of making a hot drink (on the 1st/floor
at night/for themselves and residents) Enjoyed my stay.

Knowing my mum had to be placed into care was an emotional time for us, but we were immediately put at ease by both the managers and the carers. It's clear that everyone is genuinely passionate about their roles and the care they provide.

All staff are employed directly by the company rather than

through agency staffing, which ensures continuity of care and helps residents feel safe and secure. In terms of medical support, staff respond promptly if anyone becomes unwell, and they are well supported by the Surgery, who also visit every Tuesday.

The food is excellent, with a strong focus on providing proper nutrition for all residents. From the office team to the carers, housekeeping, and activities staff, everyone is exceptional. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

The selection process - the information provided on the home, both online and in person, was excellent and personalised.
Moving in - dealt with sensitively and timely so that dad settled in well.
Every day - Dad was unfortunately only in the home a couple of days, but was becoming used to the way
the home worked.
The end - the nurses reacted quickly and offered good advice, calling for an ambulance and getting dad to hospital quickly.

I have enjoyed my 2-week stay at Hazelmere, respite, recovering from a joint hip replacement. Management and reception are good. Many of the staff are excellent, have given encouragement and kindness, as well as their skills and good humour. There are lovely surroundings, both inside and outside the
home, and these are well-maintained. Food is generally good and plenty of variety, well presented and served. Medication taken care with. Thank you. I have been well supported.

This was the perfect opportunity for post-operative care, for 2 weeks, as I could not have managed on my own (I live alone with no relatives). I was grateful for the meals brought to my room for the first few days. However, the quality of the meals seemed to deteriorate. At times, the advertised food
(e.g., Greek yoghurt) was just not available. For breakfast, sometimes there would be, e.g. bananas, sometimes not. Supplies of fresh fruit and vegetables were erratic. Quality of meals at times poor.

We had a very good friend there whom we used to visit at least once a week she was there for
Almost 3 years, And to be fair she always seemed content, however she used to get upset at times as when she felt there was a problem said she only got to see the manager a few times ,
Fortunately that changed
when a new manager took over. Also I have to say it was very evident,
First thing we noticed was the improvement in security as we always felt if was a bit unsafe but that's all changed now, also the whole place seems to have had a makeover,
Most importantly our friend was certainly very happy that she felt that she was listened to when she
had what she felt she needed to discuss anything, We also found the new management very approachable and most helpful , unfortunately our fiend passed away in January but felt we needed to say what a very friendly and caring place it has become,And to say a big thanks to manager and staff
for everything they did for her.

Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care

The whole team at Newton Court excell themselves on a daily basis but in this review I would like to praise the workmanship, manner and respectfullness of your Maintence guy (KE).
He is so helpful, understanding and caring when carrying out his work, whilst maintaining a professional manner.
He goes
over and above everytime, respecting dads space and interacting directly with him making him feel involved and that his opinion matters (which is so important). To top it all off his work is to a very high standard and he checks in later to make sure dad is happy and everything is working well.
I would also to praise the work of activities team (L & L) who offer both group and personalised one - one activities that are thoughtfully designed around individual needs but above all they are both fun and bring smiles all round which is priceless to see.
Nothing is too much trouble they are very encouraging and supportive to both residents and families.
These ladies are an integral part of NC!

Nothing is too much trouble, we are always kept in the loop with my Aunts care. The home is warm, lovely decor, great

I have been visiting my Sister regularly in Brookview Care Home since she was diagnosed with Dementia in October 25. It has been a difficult few months for all the family and we are still adjusting to life without her at her home.
Brookview Care Home has provided a permanent home for her in a safe
environment and security is excellent.
Management are very professional and the carers are very patient with the residents and aware of their individual needs. Residents are encouraged to partake in various activities and to spend time with other residents in the communal lounge and Dining area.

I visit a friend regularly and have always found the staff to be kind, patient and caring. On many occasions I've also observed carers chatting to the residents, bringing much-needed conversation to their sheltered lives, as well as snacks and drinks outside of meal times.
The activity schedule is
well thought out, and regular visits by "Bear", the care dog is a nice touch to bring contact with a pet, which so many residents will appreciate.
The single rooms are spacious and well-appointed if feeling rather functional.

Every time I visit my fiancés grandmother at Mount Hall the friendliness, helpfulness, and caring nature of the staff is evident as soon as you walk through the door as you are always greeted warmly by the employees behind the desk. The staff all make such an effort to smile and chat to you when they
pass you in the corridor and form lovely bonds with the visitors and the residents. When I visit my fiancés grandmother she always looks well taken care of with her hair nicely styled and her nails painted beautifully, she always has tea on hand and either a biscuit or a hearty meal too. The staff and carers are so kind to her and they all made such a fuss over her for her recent birthday, even allowing us to have a family gathering in the lounge to celebrate the special occasion.
