Mount Hall is set in beautiful surroundings. Our bedrooms have en suite bathroom facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their room with their own belongings.
My first role in Bupa was as a staff nurse, then unit manager, before progressing to clinical deputy manager and then home manager in June 2024.
I qualified as a Registered nurse in Ghana in 2002. I have previous experience of working in the NHS and as a haemodialysis nurse for a private dialysis company. The bulk of my experience has however been working in care homes in a variety of roles. Although I have pursued other career ambitions, my passion for working with the elderly always brought me back to the sector.
I love working here as it means so much to me to be part of a supportive team that continuously strives to be world class in the care in the we deliver, through meaningful engagement with residents, their families and staff.
I am a mother of four and in my spare time I and enjoy spending time with my family. The highlight of my weekend is cheering on my little boy and budding footballer at the touchline. I have a passion for fully committing to everything I do both professionally and in my personal life. I enjoy being support to others in any way I can.
I am a registered adult nurse with over 13 years experience. My nursing journey started in Nigeria, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following this, I moved to the UK where I obtained a level 5 management in health and social care. My interest in the care home sector grew from my passion for providing high quality, person-centred care. Working in this environment has allowed me to blend my clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring that care is both compassionate and efficient.
What I enjoy most about working in the care sector, is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives every day and the relationships I build with residents, relatives and the care team. The care home environment fosters deep connections, and I appreciate the trust that residents place in us. I am also passionate about self and professional development; I'm currently studying for a masters degree in nursing at the University of Sunderland to further develop my clinical and leadership skills, contributing to evidence-based nursing practice for a better service delivery in the care sector.
Family is a huge part of my life. I am a proud mum of two children - my eldest is 4 and his little sister is 1. I live local to the home, in Bollington, and in my spare time I enjoy outdoor walks and playing with my children at the playground. I also enjoy reading, cooking, swimming and exploring innovative healthcare solutions through simple research and documentations.
I have worked at Mount Hall for 29 years. Before this job, I worked as a district nurse in Manchester. I love being a nurse because I'm able to give care to others and make residents smile, and the team I work with always gives 100% every day.
I have been married for 38 years, and have two grown-up sons. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out trying new food and going away on holiday with my family - my husband and sons are my world!
I have worked in this role for Bupa for 14 years. I commenced nursing training in 1975 at Withington Hospital, Manchester. After I qualified, I spent many years working in hospitals, specialising in accident & emergency and orthopaedics.
My favourite part about my job is looking after residents and being part of a great team.
I have 4 children, now all grown up! And two grandchildren - outside of work I love spending time with my family.
I have worked for Bupa for 3 years. Before this, I worked as a chef in hotels and restaurants - working in the care industry is great as I love delivering healthy nutritious meals to our residents.
I live local to the home and in my spare time, I love going on long walks with my dog!
I have worked for Bupa for 21 years. Previous to that, I have worked in a private school and the building trade as a property developer.
I love working in the care sector as no 2 days are the same! Doing all I can for the residents and working with a good and friendly team is what I love about working here.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Angie and love cooking fancy meals. I also have a keen interest in cars.
