Since mt friend has been at Mount Hall she has settled down well. She came from another care home which was not suited, but Mount Hall really does suit. She has been out on trips, which is hard for her, but they do it, she feels at home here.

We are so thrilled that Mum is safe, happy, and cared for excellently here. Mum said to me: "It's a lovely place to live, I'm so happy here!" She knows everyone and the kindness of the care staff, nurses and administration team is beyond excellent.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mother in our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
The chef-prepared meals are tempting and nutritious. We are delighted Mum is in such good hands.
Thank you for your lovely review. We hope Mount Hall Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Mount Hall Care Home is set on beautiful grounds with panoramic views over the countryside. A warm welcome by all the staff who work as a team providing individual care for my Mum. The nurses communicate with the nursing home GP so immediately the best possible high standard of care is achieved. The carers are so respectful, compassionate, and conscientious making Mum comfortable and relaxed. At meal times all staff are involved in assisting residents, Mum is given choices of varied nutritional diets every day. Mum's room is inviting, cleanliness is very important to the home. Only last week all the downstairs carpets were changed. Mum's laundry is beautifully washed, and nothing is ever misplaced. I'm so happy Mum is here surrounded by a professional, friendly team.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Mum in our care and it is always nice to hear words like "respectful, compassionate and conscientious" being used to describe our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one...

I am very pleased with the care my next of kin is getting. Staff are caring and patient. Her room is lovely and arranged according to her preferences. She is happy and settled.

With thanks to the staff, I was able to update Mum with emails and photographs, which benefitted both Mum and myself!
Very much appreciated.

The care home is friendly and caring. I feel very confident that my father is looked after well and valued as a person. Many thanks to everyone for all you do.

Beautiful house set in stunning grounds with far-reaching views of the Cheshire countryside. The nursing and care staff are amazing. Food is good and there are lots of activities for the residents including canal boat trips and live music. My dad is very happy and settled here and I feel very welcome when I visit. Has completely taken away any worry that I had when my dad was living independently. Thanks to all at Mount Hall!
Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Dad in our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
We visited several care homes before deciding upon Mount Hall for my mum. We have not been disappointed! The level of care, support and understanding has been exceptional. The staff are wonderful and showed considerable patience when Mum was settling in. Mum is thoroughly enjoying her stay at Mount Hall and is enjoying the many stimulating activities. She is having a new lease of life.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make her stay as comfortable as possible and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
The food was the only letdown, there is definitely room for improvement!
I would, however, recommend Mount Hall to a friend or relative.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear words like “Kind” and “Helpful” being used to describe our staff. We will discuss your feedback about the food with the home’s manager to help them continually improve their service. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
Since my last review, the care staff have appeared more stable, with friendly, helpful carers who my aunt understands. The activities have also improved, my aunt especially enjoys the musical entertainers. Unfortunately, she has a very old-fashioned wheelchair which doesn't have a folding backrest which makes it difficult for us to take my aunt out. There were troubles with the cook/chef at New Year, this has been resolved now.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your aunt's stay as comfortable as possible and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
My late wife resided at Mount Hall Care Home for the last 7 years. Due to a stroke in April 2011, she suffered massive brain damage that rendered her unable to communicate and speak normally. The stroke also affected her other bodily systems, comprehension and memory. From her 1st day at the home, she was made welcome, and she was cared for and nursed to a high standard. She was always treated with high regard, respect and dignity. She made friends with several residents and members of staff alike. With my wife at Mount Hall, I found that I could be at ease, due to the knowledge that the standard of care being given to her was first class.
Thank you for your kind words. We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your wife. We hope Mount Hall did everything they could to make the transition as easy as possible. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
The staff were incredibly kind and caring whilst maintaining a professional approach.
We can't thank everyone at Mount Hall enough for looking after Mum in her final days and helping us through a very different time.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind review. We are so pleased you were accommodated so thoughtfully by the staff at Mount Hall. We are glad to have helped you and your family through such a difficult time but are saddened to hear of your mum's passing. Hopefully, you will go away from this feeling like your loved one received the best possible care.
It took him a while to settle as it is a big change for him being away from my mum and also relocating from Yorkshire to Cheshire. (My mum is now over here too so is visiting regularly). Throughout this time the staff have been kind and attentive to all his needs and feelings.
The home is friendly and professional. It is clean and the residents are kept very clean too. The food is of good quality and there is always choice which is nice.
My dad particularly likes the location of Mount Hall and the view from his window.
The activities are run well and are varied and my dad has begun to enjoy these. The one thing I would say is that I wish there was a church service of some kind offered. Even just communion. My dad has always gone to church and I think it would be a huge benefit to him to have this spiritual input.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your father in our care and hope Mount Hall care home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible for him. It is always nice to hear words like “kind” and “attentive” being used to describe...
Very friendly and welcoming staff. The home always feels fresh and clean. Good range of daily entertainment. Prompt response to requests and queries. Smooth transition for my mum from living at home. Lovely grounds and a short distance to local amenities.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mum in our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make her stay as comfortable as possible.
My mother has been a resident at Mount Hall Care Home for over four years. During this time, she has been looked after with care, compassion and patience. The home is always very clean, and the meals served are varied and nutritional. There is always plenty to keep residents happy with entertainment and activities; although my mother is not always able to join in, there is lots to watch. Has a family atmosphere.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear words like “Compassion” and “Patience” being used to describe our care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your mother's stay as comfortable as possible.
Having to move my mum from another care home, and having had almost a year of hospitals and nursing care, my mum needed a home that offered good all round day care. Mount Hall staff were understanding of my mother's and our needs, they have provided a lovely room, which is great as she refuses to leave it, even to go for meals. It's early days, but the staff have all been very helpful to make my mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
Thank you for your kind words. We hope Mount Hall Care Home did everything possible to make the transition as easy as possible not only for your mum but for you as well. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We hope to continue providing her with the best possible care and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Meet the Team (5)

My first role in Bupa was as a staff nurse, then unit manager, before progressing to clinical deputy manager and then home manager in June 2024.
I qualified as a Registered nurse in Ghana in 2002. I have previous experience of working in the NHS and as a haemodialysis nurse for a private dialysis company. The bulk of my experience has however been working in care homes in a variety of roles. Although I have pursued other career ambitions, my passion for working with the elderly always brought me back to the sector.
I love working here as it means so much to me to be part of a supportive team that continuously strives to be world class in the care in the we deliver, through meaningful engagement with residents, their families and staff.
I am a mother of four and in my spare time I and enjoy spending time with my family. The highlight of my weekend is cheering on my little boy and budding footballer at the touchline. I have a passion for fully committing to everything I do both professionally and in my personal life. I enjoy being support to others in any way I can.

I am a registered adult nurse with over 13 years experience. My nursing journey started in Nigeria, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following this, I moved to the UK where I obtained a level 5 management in health and social care. My interest in the care home sector grew from my passion for providing high quality, person-centred care. Working in this environment has allowed me to blend my clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring that care is both compassionate and efficient.
What I enjoy most about working in the care sector, is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives every day and the relationships I build with residents, relatives and the care team. The care home environment fosters deep connections, and I appreciate the trust that residents place in us. I am also passionate about self and professional development; I'm currently studying for a masters degree in nursing at the University of Sunderland to further develop my clinical and leadership skills, contributing to evidence-based nursing practice for a better service delivery in the care sector.
Family is a huge part of my life. I am a proud mum of two children - my eldest is 4 and his little sister is 1. I live local to the home, in Bollington, and in my spare time I enjoy outdoor walks and playing with my children at the playground. I also enjoy reading, cooking, swimming and exploring innovative healthcare solutions through simple research and documentations.

I have worked at Mount Hall for 29 years. Before this job, I worked as a district nurse in Manchester. I love being a nurse because I'm able to give care to others and make residents smile, and the team I work with always gives 100% every day.
I have been married for 38 years, and have two grown-up sons. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out trying new food and going away on holiday with my family - my husband and sons are my world!

I have worked in this role for Bupa for 14 years. I commenced nursing training in 1975 at Withington Hospital, Manchester. After I qualified, I spent many years working in hospitals, specialising in accident & emergency and orthopaedics.
My favourite part about my job is looking after residents and being part of a great team.
I have 4 children, now all grown up! And two grandchildren - outside of work I love spending time with my family.

I have worked for Bupa for 21 years. Previous to that, I have worked in a private school and the building trade as a property developer.
I love working in the care sector as no 2 days are the same! Doing all I can for the residents and working with a good and friendly team is what I love about working here.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Angie and love cooking fancy meals. I also have a keen interest in cars.
