Set within the beautiful Cheshire countryside, in the rural village of Bollington, this Georgian home has been carefully modernised and refurbished to provide a high standard of accommodation and facilities.

Committed to providing individualised care, Mount Hall is a nursing home with a dedicated team of staff who work hard to understand the needs of each resident.

Care plans are offered for short and long term needs and include palliative and Parkinson's care.

Most bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and views of the large landscaped gardens and all can be personalised to promote familiarity.

The chef is proactive in getting to know each resident’s dietary needs and checks regularly to make sure residents remain happy by offering a selection of tasty and nutritious homemade meals.

I would like to thank all the staff at Mount all for the professional care they give to my Mum. At a time of extreme family distress, as my Mum was not likely to survive. I cannot overemphasize the help and empathy shown to me and my family. They treat my Mum with dignity in a friendly atmosphere. She

I look after my client on a regular weekly basis at the home. I have always been accepted very kindly and friendly by all the staff. Nothing is too much for them along with the management and nursing staff.
They have a very varied activity rota which the residents enjoy.
It is a lovely environment
for the residents enjoy.

Staff are all friendly and can't do enough to accommodate anything residents need (within reason). All very caring and understanding. Rooms and cleanliness are excellent. I don't think we could have found a nicer home for my dad.

Very happy atmosphere, never smells of bad smells. My mother feels safe there and all the staff are kind, happy and never bad-tempered with her. Any doubts I have re Mum's health, the nurses always put my mind at rest. I feel my mum is in the best place for care and think they have given Mum extra time.

My mother has now been there for 7 months. From the very first day I called there I have had nothing but admiration for all the staff. It also has a homely feel. I have never had cause to complain about anything. My mother could not be better cared for.

My mother has settled here very well in such a short space of time.
I chose Mount Hall Care Home as I felt it had that homely feel and the house is very clean and like a home from home. The staff here are very helpful and adapt their skills to each individual with love and care. Great food! We are
free to come and go at any hour and we're not restricted to certain times. The activities here my mum enjoys and they are varied and always enjoyable. I am kept informed of mums health and anything that may upset her and if she's ill it is dealt with quickly by a doctor.

We couldn't be happier with the care given to my mother-in-law (not the most easiest of people to please!).
It is a home setting within a care home. All the staff greet us with smiles and conversation even though their work is very emotionally and physically demanding.
A care/nursing home is the last
resort for families but our choice of Mount Hall has made the transition from home to home so much easier than we anticipated. With much gratitude and thanks for your help.

Mum had been in respite care and then a hospital when we were asked to find her a nursing home as there was nothing more medically that could be done for her. It's a minefield out there. We visited every nursing home that we could find within the Macclesfield area, and some I have to say were very depressing.
Mount
Hall just felt right as soon as we went in and we were so pleased that they had a vacancy. We could not have made a better choice as mum was very comfortable there and was extremely well cared for.
Mum sadly died very recently and once again the staff were considerate of mum and our needs, they couldn't have been kinder.
I can't praise the team at Mount Hall highly enough for their care and consideration for mum's welfare and comfort throughout her time with them and I'd have no hesitation in recommending this nursing home to anyone looking for a comfortable, efficient, caring and friendly home for friend or relative.

Mount Hall is a wonderful place. If you cannot stay at home then Mount Hall is the next best place. The staff have been there for a long time and are very caring and thoughtful. The residents are treated with respect at all times and it feels like they are all one big family.
Relatives are kept well
informed and are always made very welcome. I cannot speak highly enough of Mount Hall and it's staff.

The most important aspect of Mount Hall is the kind and caring approach of the staff, which permeates all the staff, nursing, care workers, cooks, cleaning staff and so forth. My father is very well looked after and so far as I can judge of a man with dementia, he is content, calm and even happy. The
home itself is well appointed with beautiful views. While one cannot escape from its being at heart a care home, the atmosphere is more akin to that of a small country hotel. This was the best home I could identify and has lived up to my expectations.

As a resident, I feel that I am well looked after. Care staff are kind and considerate. I feel I have a good relationship with all staff members, carers, kitchen staff, housekeeping, laundry, administration and nursing staff. Any minor problems that have occurred have always been rectified within a

Not only am I the daughter of a resident at Mount Hall Care Home, I had the chance to see the other side of the coin when I went into the home myself for respite.


I cannot speak more highly of the care and kindness I received across the board from the housekeepers to the nursing sisters.

Francisca

Francisca Owusu-Ansah

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2020

My first role in Bupa was as a staff nurse, then unit manager, before progressing to clinical deputy manager and then home manager in June 2024.


I qualified as a Registered nurse in Ghana in 2002. I have previous experience of working in the NHS and as a haemodialysis nurse for a private dialysis company. The bulk of my experience has however been working in care homes in a variety of roles. Although I have pursued other career ambitions, my passion for working with the elderly always brought me back to the sector.


I love working here as it means so much to me to be part of a supportive team that continuously strives to be world class in the care in the we deliver, through meaningful engagement with residents, their families and staff.


I am a mother of four and in my spare time I and enjoy spending time with my family. The highlight of my weekend is cheering on my little boy and budding footballer at the touchline. I have a passion for fully committing to everything I do both professionally and in my personal life. I enjoy being support to others in any way I can.

I am a registered adult nurse with over 13 years experience. My nursing journey started in Nigeria, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing. Following this, I moved to the UK where I obtained a level 5 management in health and social care. My interest in the care home sector grew from my passion for providing high quality, person-centred care. Working in this environment has allowed me to blend my clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring that care is both compassionate and efficient.


What I enjoy most about working in the care sector, is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives every day and the relationships I build with residents, relatives and the care team. The care home environment fosters deep connections, and I appreciate the trust that residents place in us. I am also passionate about self and professional development; I'm currently studying for a masters degree in nursing at the University of Sunderland to further develop my clinical and leadership skills, contributing to evidence-based nursing practice for a better service delivery in the care sector.


Family is a huge part of my life. I am a proud mum of two children - my eldest is 4 and his little sister is 1. I live local to the home, in Bollington, and in my spare time I enjoy outdoor walks and playing with my children at the playground. I also enjoy reading, cooking, swimming and exploring innovative healthcare solutions through simple research and documentations.

I have been married for 38 years, and have two grown-up sons. In my spare time, I enjoy eating out trying new food and going away on holiday with my family - my husband and sons are my world!
