My grandma received exceptional care whilst she lived at Mount Hall. I loved visiting her, it was like home from home. The staff were loving and attentive, not just with grandma but with us too - they took an interest in us all. They treated grandma with respect, like she was family. The activities they planned for grandma and the residents were fab, and often included family members too. We never worried about grandma as we knew she was taken such good care of. Thank you!
Nice place with good caring staff.
Set in lovely surroundings, Mount Hall is an ideal home to be residing in. My good friends of over 40 years is happily being cared for. On arriving at the front door, you are greeted by a warm and friendly face. Everyone seems happy, residents appear content. The whole ambulance is very good. Meals appear first class at from what I've seen. Entertainment on daily scale and activities on offer excellent. I'm very happy that my friend is living here, content in the knowledge she is being cared for and treated like one of the family. Well done to Mount Hall.
My father was cared for at Mount Hall for the last 2.5 years of his life. They showed him love, dignity and respect over and above his daily needs. I cannot rate the staff and the care they have given, more highly. Thankyou to all.
from entering the premises of Mount Hall a welcome and pleasant smile & Chat from reception you knew that this is a welcome friendly home. The interaction between staff was good & I knew that my sister would be welcome here. My sister received most excellent care support during her 4 month stay at Mount Hall. My Sister was severely disabled & the staff always treated her with the respect & Kindness that she deserved. Thank you to everyone who helped care for my sister to the end.

Very impressed with care home. very friendly + warm atmosphere. Very clean environment, laundry very efficient. Food tasty + well presented. Manager arranged a new specialist chair for my mum to use the company came and measured + supplied all within a week at no cost to us. We were very grateful for this as mum can go into lounge or look out at the view. Thank you
I visited a friend who is only in the home for a short time & therefore it was a one off visit. I was impressed with the home and the staff and my friend was being looked after very well & is happy there. I am not able to comment on some of the options as I visited her in one of the communal rooms and obviously cannot comment on safety, value for money, management and rooms.
My father-in-law was in Mount Hall for three and a half weeks in for end of life care. He was treated with respect and dignity from all the staff. They tried on a daily basis to include him in activities, which they succeeded to do. They gave him time with personal care and nothing was too much trouble. He had very little appetite but they tried every day to tempt him with his favourite foods Every member of staff was dedicated to his needs, and had time to chat with him. He loved it there! He felt reloved and cared for. As a family we are extremely grateful to everyone and could not have hoped for a better ending to his life
I have visited my friend on a regular basis for past 3 years. Personaly experience first class in every respect - comfort/care/concern of staff for my friend is fantastic and know he is in best hands and care possible I have been a visitor many years in past and always considered care and facilities excellent and recommend *5 star plus*
Since mt friend has been at Mount Hall she has settled down well. She came from another care home which was not suited, but Mount Hall really does suit. She has been out on trips, which is hard for her, but they do it, she feels at home here.
At Mount Hall, the emphasis is very much on care; the staff took time to get to know Mum and she was very well looked after, during her, sadly too short, stay. That level of care extended to our wider family, making what could have been a really challenging time, one that I will look back on with fond memories. My only regret is that Mum didn't get to enjoy the full extent of the beautiful setting and the wide range of activities. However, the views from her window helped make up for this. Thank you to everyone for all the care and support.
We are so thrilled that Mum is safe, happy, and cared for excellently here. Mum said to me: "It's a lovely place to live, I'm so happy here!" She knows everyone and the kindness of the care staff, nurses and administration team is beyond excellent.
It has been a wonderful experience to find Mount Hall as a permanent residence for my mother. The home is just that "it is homey". The decor and all the equipment i.e. beds are up to date and the presentation is excellent. The chef-prepared meals are tempting and nutritious. We are delighted Mum is in such good hands.
Mount Hall Care Home is set on beautiful grounds with panoramic views over the countryside. A warm welcome by all the staff who work as a team providing individual care for my Mum. The nurses communicate with the nursing home GP so immediately the best possible high standard of care is achieved. The carers are so respectful, compassionate, and conscientious making Mum comfortable and relaxed. At meal times all staff are involved in assisting residents, Mum is given choices of varied nutritional diets every day. Mum's room is inviting, cleanliness is very important to the home. Only last week all the downstairs carpets were changed. Mum's laundry is beautifully washed, and nothing is ever misplaced. I'm so happy Mum is here surrounded by a professional, friendly team.
Mount Hall is a lovely place to be cared for by all the staff. My husband had to go into hospital where he sadly passed, but he would have liked to spend his last days at Mount Hall but was too ill. If I need permanent care in the future, I will be pleased to stay there.
I am very pleased with the care my next of kin is getting. Staff are caring and patient. Her room is lovely and arranged according to her preferences. She is happy and settled.
I recently went on holiday feeling rather guilty at leaving my mum behind - we had initially planned the holiday with her, prior to her stroke. With thanks to the staff, I was able to update Mum with emails and photographs, which benefitted both Mum and myself! Very much appreciated.
The care home is friendly and caring. I feel very confident that my father is looked after well and valued as a person. Many thanks to everyone for all you do.
