My aunt and uncle were visiting. Yet again the team at the Goldbridge provided a lovely sandwich lunch and a beautiful, very tasty cake for our family. Just this small thing makes it so much easier for us to spend quality time with Mum. There was lots of laughter and we were asked what we were celebrating?
The answer was the opportunity to spend time together, chat, laugh and share memories . No excuse needed for a nice lunch!

My mother has been in the home for 6 wks. I find the staff very helpful & friendly. My major concern is with not being able to see a record of my mum's care. Also her room was full of ants on more than one occasion, of which I had to report. This was not helped by the room not being clean and I can
see there still being a problem.

My wife and I have just celebrated our diamond wedding anniversary (60 years) and my 84th birthday. The home couldn't do more for us with the residence at the home so wonderful and friendly people a day my wife and I will always remember.

We went to the Easter celebrations. The staff were all amazing making it such a wonderful + joyful occasion. All the residents and family were really looked after.

My 91 year old mother needed respite care following surgery on her back. She was very reluctant but the welcome was warm and straight forward. The room was comfy and if we asked anything the staff were so obliging. Within 24 hours my mother understood the daily routines and was having fun conversations
with everyone. The daily activities were a huge hit and the extra nursing she needed was very attentive and supportive. When she had to leave it was a wrench but the send off was memorable. Hugs all around. Pendean was the perfect tonic.

My opinion of my living here is generally satisfactory - it is age that I find a nuisance! Meals get rather boring: all the staff can provide a bit of humour except night staff (just one or two who are sometimes a little brusqite) I cant complain!

From our initial inspection visit to the time my wife left Pendean, the staff in every department were warm, welcoming and exceptionally helpful. It is rare to come across this level of sheer warmth and kindness in any walk of life. My only reservation is the quality of the meals which i think could
be improved. But that is relatively minor in the whole scheme of things and pales into insignificance given the rest of the excellent experience. i would recommend without hesitation.

Having had a tumour removed in April 2025 my 2 daughters and son decided I would be looked after in Goldbridge.
Their thoughts have worked out well, as I am flawed with my stay here, in fact, contented sums up my overall feeling. The staff and management seem to look over and I believe a lot goes into
the activities to ensure the residents are well looked after.
Whilst my medical condition is life-changing, I am very well looked after. Thank you Goldbridge.

What Lovely friendly staff, it was so nice to see the lovely Christmas decorations that gave the home a festive feel. Nothing was too much trouble. Was offered refreshments on my visit and staff answered any questions i had which really put my mind at rest, i was pleasantly surprised how many actives
there were on offer and we were made very welcome, it was nice to see the staff and management joining in the activities and were so approachable, some of the areas were a little dated but that didn't take away from the quality of care or the atmosphere which is far more important to me than the furniture. Even though I didn't take them up on the offer of staying for a meal with my family member, the food looked great and plenty to choose from, my relative loved the meals, felt safe and enjoyed his time here. It's a fair distance from where we live but would definitely choose church farm. Distance is no problem to recieve the care and kindness my relative deserves and received.
