This is my second stay at Ridley Park, and as before, I found the experience excellent. All of the staff were kind, caring and very professional. My only criticism would be the food. As the sole vegetation, the choices on the menu were somewhat limited, but the staff have a lot to do and did their best
to accommodate my needs. Thank you.

Recently I attended a 'Residents, Family and Friends Social Evening' at Ridley Park Care home and what a lovely evening it was!
A great deal of effort had been put in by the staff to make the event a success. There was a beautiful buffet, a quiz and music.
What really made it special was the lovely
friendly atmosphere and the strong sense of community. Thank you to all involved!

Thank you to the activity staff at Ridley park for arranging the social evening, it was lovely to be able to take mam and dad for an evening out in the ballroom.
Dad was able to go to the bar and order a pint and a round of drinks for the family.
The catering staff did an amazing job preparing the
canapés which were beautiful to look at and very tasty. So much time and care was taken in the presentation.
We all enjoyed the quiz but the singalong made the night. Everyone was singing along and there was so much laughter.
It was also lovely to have a little dance with dad.
Looking forward to the next one.

Our nana moved in recently and has settled in well thanks to the homely feel and welcoming staff. The rooms are a great size and have a nice view from the window. The food seems good and it is great that residents are encrouaged to eat together but also have the option of eating in their room if it
suits them better. The building is well secured but it is nice and easy for family to visit.

Nana always feels happy here and has settled into her new home really well. The staff are amazing with her and lovely to our family, which makes us more settled knowing Nana is safe and looked after. The food, facilities and her room are all great and the events and activities are regularly happening
keeping Nana stimulated and involved. It is a lovely place.

I frequently visit this home to see two relatives, I find it most welcoming and the staff are approachable. I would find no hesitation recommending to others. My relative recently had a minor issue it was brought to the attention of the staff, which was resolved in less than 24 hours. With so many residents
I believe this to be quite prompt and impressive. I'm grateful for the efforts of the staff.

My brother moved into Ridley Park Nursing Unit about a year ago and, sadly, he has since passed away. From the beginning we felt very fortunate to have found a place for him there. He settled in well and soon became comfortable with the routine of life in the home.
Ridley Park has a warm and welcoming
atmosphere. There are several lounge areas where residents and visitors can sit together, which made visits much more enjoyable for our family. On nice days we were able to take my brother outside in his wheelchair and sit with him in the front garden to enjoy some fresh air.
There are regular activities during the week which help keep residents engaged and entertained. The home also arranges occasional entertainment, such as singers and visits from small animals, which always seem to bring a lot of smiles.
The staff are kind, supportive and genuinely caring. They took the time to talk with my brother and showed a real interest in him as a person. Our family visited often and were always made to feel welcome.
We are grateful for the care my brother received and would happily recommend Ridley Park to others.

I am so glad that myself and my sister moved my dad to Ridley Park. The care and treatment are excellent. The staff are very positive respectful and caring in there approach to my dad. As a family we wished we'd moved my dad to this home earlier than we did. I would recomend this home to anyone that
needed to place there loved one into nursing home. I will recommend this home to my professional colleagues. The staff listen to my family about my dad needs.

If I could give 0 stars. I would have. Today, sadly my uncle passed away at 1am. My sister who was next of kin was contacted repeatedly by staff. Not once when they phoned they offered any condolences. The first thing they said was "is he getting buried or cremated" my sister was in shock as they never
told her my uncle had passed. Then they called again and laughed and said "well we can't just leave a body in the care home it needs to be refrigerated" myself and my sister when to a funeral directors before going to the home. I asked who spoke to my sister it was a nurse who was present. I asked her where her compassion was and she extremely snotty and again did not apologize. As we were leaving the financial admin asked my sister to sign a contract. I said no as our uncle had only just passed and today was the not the day. She turned around and said " you have an attitude problem" known fine well I had just lost my uncle. The worst compassion and empathy home I've known.

A very positive experience for me and my visits. My friend has been at Ridley Park for 10 months. Her health has improved with the attention that she has had from medics. She is very content in herself and enjoys the activities. All staff are so helpful and pleasant when I visit.

Living here is very nice. It's a bit noisy at times especially with some neighbours who have their TV or music loud.
I feel safe here and I'm well looked after.

My step father is happy at Ridley Park. He is well cared for by very caring staff. His only concern is sometimes having to wait for personal care, as no hoist is available. He would also prefer his breakfast a little earlier, as sometimes there is only a 2 hour gap between breakfast and lunch.

First impression of Ridley Park were excellent - light, bright rooms for residents. Very good communal areas with fresh decor and quality furnishings. The staff were welcoming and helpful from day 1. Varied activities daily with the resident encouraged to participate, but equally respected private time.
For relatives, Ridley Park provides peace of mind knowing loved ones are cared for, treated with dignity and importantly, safe.

Homely and welcoming interior, well-kept communal areas, clean, lovely touches in the dining areas (tables set beautifully), friendly staff and gardens are pretty. Shout out to the carers - caring and go above and beyond. Home-cooked food looks and smells delicious.

The staff within Ridley Park are amazing. They go above and beyond.
The dementia unit staff in particular are fantastic. I feel my Mum and Dad are very well looked after and I can relax at home knowing they are safe and happy. Thank you.
