My husband returned to Wingham Court for respite for 1 week and had an amazing time. Not only did he remember all the staff, but he was also familiar with his surroundings (he has short-term memory loss and cognitive difficulties, which makes it difficult to situate himself) - He had daily activities,
physio, tried walking, and was absolutely showered with love! Wingham Court remains a first-class neuro-nursing home - Thank you!!

Having checked out a number of care homes before Arbrook, we are delighted with the choice we made. Arbrook lives up to all our expectations of a nursing home, and my wife settled in and is as happy as we can expect due to her unfortunate condition. Everyone here is very caring and she seems to be attached
to everyone. She eats well, which is a surprise because before she came, she hardly ate at all.

My husband has been a resident in Arbrook House for just over 1 year. He is suffering from multiple health issues vis: immobility, incontinence, dementia and an autoimmune skin condition. He requires 24-hour care, which is provided at Arbook by professional management, efficient nursing and extremely
caring "care staff", who look after his complex needs, always with a smile and a helpful attitude, even when confronted with a work load. I feel he is in "safe" hands and a happy environment.

My husband was very well looked after. He had the smallest room, but it was all ok and if I wanted him downstairs, joining in with all the activities, which he did until he felt very ill. Food was okay, he loved to eat, so sometimes asked for something more, which was given. The carers were wonderful,
they deserve so much praise. Nothing was too much trouble. Activities were the best.

This home was recommended to me by a close relative & I can see why. From receptionist to cleaners & all nurses inbetween they are exceptionally kind, caring people. They are all so cheerful & friendly & go the extra mile at all times to ensure patients are well cared for. They even make us feel wanted
too & nothing seems like too much trouble. Very good range of activities & place is so clean. Food's great & wouldn't recommend anywhere else other than Collingwood Grange.

All the staff at Arbrook do an excellent job. They are continuously looking for ways to improve and always follow up on feedback and suggestions. The food options are outstanding. The grounds are stunning, and it is a lovely, caring environment. Residents are well looked after, with all their needs
met, no matter how big or small their requests are. The staff always find a way to try to accommodate them.

All the staff are so helpful and kind with the patients, going out of there way to ensure there clients are looked after to a high standard.

I visited my friend and I was welcomed by the wonderful manger. The welcoming atmosphere and the care the residents is incredible. The manger is kind, caring and so interested in the residents. She is clearly loved by them. My friend is very happy and values all that is being done for her.

I attended a 40th anniversary celebration of Bupa care homes at Waverley Grange Care home in July 2025 as a stall holder at the event. The staff had organised a range of events for the day, including singers, cooked food and activities for children in the garden. Children were welcome at the event.
The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly when children and visitors needed to use the toilet inside the building.

Our mother was admitted to Arbrook house, in the later stages of her life. We (myself, my sister and brother), were very grateful to admit our mum into somewhere so pleasant. The home is lovely, as are the grounds, and all the staff creating a pleasant and caring environment.
Our mother's needs changed
over time, and the nurses and wider team knew exactly how to adapt the care she needed, giving her a dignified stay in challenging circumstances. The staff's support also extended to ourselves, ensuring we had everything we needed, including meals and allowing us to stay with our mum as she approached the end of her time.
The holistic support was a great comfort and relief to us. Furthermore, the management team were always seeking and responsive to feedback. We would recommend this hope highly and are very grateful to everyone associated with the home and wider firm.

So disappointing ..
Not sure my mother is being fed, do they feed her when I'm not there? No one else was being fed by staff.
She needed changing and I had an eye roll!
Do they assist her with drinking? The drinks in her room when I turned up were warm.
Does anyone truly care in the care profession?
The
room is small and incredibly dark, even in the middle of summer.

Having flown back to the UK this month for a holiday, I visited my uncle who has been a resident at Wingham Court for the last fifteen years. It was wonderful to see how happy and well-cared for he is. The staff were warm and friendly, and nothing he asked for was too much trouble. We were lucky enough
to have some good weather and enjoyed sitting in the lovely gardens together.


The food options are great and there a plenty of activities to keep my uncle and his friends busy. I was very impressed with Wingham Court and so pleased for my uncle to be living a happy, fulfilling life.

Staff are always kind and helpful, the care they provide my father is excellent always a happy place to be. Always feel assured that my father is getting the best care possible.
