I have found St Georges to be well staffed and who have always shown a very caring and attentive attitude to the residents. There is a varied choice of activities available. All Pat's family are very happy with the care she receives. The garden is also very suitable for us to walk around with Pat. Thank
you.

I wanted to call out the excellent care my mother has received since moving to St George's 5 months ago. The staff provide a caring and supportive environment to all.  Having a loved one living with advanced dementia is a sad and trying situation for a family to find themselves in but seeing my mother
smiling, chatting and engaging as far as she is able is priceless.  Imaginative and ability appropriate activities are offered every week by the enthusiastic staff member as well as visits from always popular therapy dogs. The care and reception staff make us feel very welcome when we visit adding to the overall feeling of consideration and kindness this home has. Thank you.
Reply from Natasha Burns-Leigh, Customer Service Advisor at St George's Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that your mother has settled well at St George's and is receiving the care and support she needs. We understand how challenging dementia can be for families, so it means a great deal to know that seeing her happy, engaged and enjoying activities brings comfort and reassurance. We're pleased that the activities programme and therapy dog visits have been so well received, and that you always feel welcomed when visiting. Thank you for your kind words about our team: they will be greatly appreciated.

I have been here as a resident at Puttenham Care Home since Feb 2025 and have settled in very well. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and have always made me feel at home. I am just 93 years old this May, as I found coping on my own quite a problem with all the practical problems. I have a
pediatric and H.V background and retired in 1988.
The staff always welcome my friends visiting, which helped me to settle down. I have a small room, but it is very cosy with photos etc. around it, and it is like home. I am lucky to be here.

Puttenham Hill House Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our mum was admitted to Puttenham Hill House Care Home in April. She arrived at lunchtime, and a hot meal and drinks were produced straight away.
Mum was bedbound and needed assistance with everything; which it was the kindness and upbeat caring nature of all the staff was touching. Nothing was too
much trouble. Mum never wanted to go in a 'home', but she settled in straight away and even spoke about 'booking in for another week'.
Sadly, Mum passed away after 5 weeks. As a family, we were so glad she spent her last weeks in the comfort and care of Puttenham Hill House.
Thank you all.
Reply from Natasha Burns-Leigh, Customer Service Advisor at Puttenham Hill House Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt review, especially during what must be a very difficult time. Wingham Court Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
What an outstanding care home with staff who genuinly care. My Uncle Spencer has been a resident at Wingham court for over 22 years. A brain injury suffered around 23 years ago left him with physical and mental disabilities, requiring around the clock care. The staff at Wingham Court gave him exactly
that. He had his own room with his personal belongings where he could listen to his music and watch tv. He enjoyed joining in the activities on offer including indoor games and activities, day trips out and was the first to sing along to the Elvis tribute act!
Wingham Court provided Spencers family with the knowledge that that he was 100% safe in their care, which is a families main concern. Spencers condition deteriorated recently, with him passing away in hospital in the last week of May. Even in his passing, the staff have showed genuine compassion and kindness. On behalf of The Thomas family I would like to thank them all for taking such great care of Spencer over the years.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I can totally understand how Arbrook achieved an outstanding from CQC. Our mum is a resident there, having been at a different care home previously, and the care she receives from nursing and care staff is absolutely amazing. Nothing seems to be too much and she is never made to feel uncomfortable about
any request. Her medical care is excellent. Issues, when they infrequently arise, are listened too and reacted upon immediately. The environment is beautiful and nothing is too much for the lovely team. They help as soon as they are asked and do so with a smile. There are a range of activities run by a great team, that are interesting, stimulating and inclusive. The catering and dining team are so kind and really help ensure a great selection of lovely food is available. The rooms are kept spotless and well resourced by a very friendly team who always offer their help and move and mend anything asked.
Jonathon, the manager and his management team are fantastic and extremely responsive.

I came here with real nervousness. It was my first experience of a care home and I bought my wife here, initially for Respite but it morphed into permanent because of the nature of her complex neurological illness. From Day 1 the staff have been so supportive of my wife's needs. No effort spared
to make sure she's comfortable and stable. Care workers, nurses,, physios, admin, management have all gone far beyond what I had expected.
It's very difficult to recommend a care home, as I hope you never need one. I certainly didn't. plan for one But if you do, Wingham Court is excellent. Beautiful grounds, walking distance to cafes, and free hot drinks!
