Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My sister was offered a place in Ashley Park in Feb 2023 after a series of falls and hospital stays left her unable to live alone. My first visit there left me with enormous relief as experiences of care homes previously had not been good. The day she arrived there my sister was met by smiles and kindness.
She
loves the meals and all the daily activities.
There are frequent mini bus trips out for those able to travel even going iceskating!! The daily care is very good and nursing team excellent. As a relative I am kept updated and also made to feel one of the "family".
Places in residential care are hard to come by and I would recommend anyone offered Ashley Park to consider it most favourably.

The Arbrook Team have looked after Dad so well since he arrived 4 years ago and as his dementia worsened. Initially he was able to participate in activities which he enjoyed and the staff have always been kind and patient. Towards the end when Dad really was very unwell he did not have any bed sores
and the team were understanding and gentle. They were also helpful when we applied for funding and very attentive when he was dying. He died at the beginning of December 2025. I would highly recommend Arbrook mainly because of the team which is the most important aspect of care.

My mother has been a resident at Collingwood Grange Care Home or about nine months, and in my opinion she is receiving excellent care. Before that, she lived in her own house, but she has been bed bound following a fall. She appreciates all the support that she receives from the staff, and this has
helped her to accept and be positive about her situation. The staff are professional and friendly, and they ensure that she has meals, medication, laundry changing etc at the right times every day. My brothers, myself and other visitors are always welcome.

What a lovely home the care team (carers) is absolutely amazing and can't be praised enough with how hard they work to make all the residents feel unique and individual and safe !!
All of the carers most definitely live up to title and CARE
My dad was always complimenting all the carers and how they

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
The care has been very good. Every single member of staff is kind, very capable, and totally non-judgmental. The activities are good and varied (like the music). My only criticism is the pureed food. I like that the chef purees the separate items separately, but the taste of the main ingredient is not
pleasant. suggest: add grated cheese, or anything to improve the taste.
Otherwise, Arbrook House is an excellent care home.
