Oakcroft House provides nursing, residential and short stay care. They’re there when you and your loved ones need them most. For planned respite or last-minute trips. A safe space to recover after an operation. To experience what their home’s like before moving long-term. To just relax. Whatever the reason, their doors are open.

Close to the centre of West Byfleet village, the large house features many areas for residents to spend time in, and welcome friends and family into the home. With wheelchair friendly pathways throughout the large garden, the surroundings are ideal for enjoying the summer months.

All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and are pleasantly decorated and furnished. There is an onsite library and residents also have access to Wifi, relaxation therapies, a nutritionist and an optician.

The chef produces tasty seasonal meals every day to ensure residents eat a variety of delicious and healthy food.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. Dedicated activity coordinators help ensure residents are able to pursue their hobbies and interests, as well as organising a range of activities which include bingo, quizzes, flower arranging and music sessions, there is so much for residents to enjoy. Regular trips to the garden centre are also enjoyed as are shopping trips and themed monthly events.

During the two years my Mum needed full time nursing care, she was resident at Oakcroft. As a family we felt extremely lucky that a bed had been available when Mum needed one. Oakcroft staff were unfailingly cheerful and proficient, even as Mum's character deteriorated due to vascular dementia and
she was at times abusive. The staff were always warm and friendly, and very capable. The facilities are excellent, with a lovely garden and pleasant conservatory and Mum loved to see the trees which surround the property. I can thoroughly recommend Oakcroft to anyone in need of a nursing or care home.

My mother was resident at Oakcroft for about 2 years. She was clear she did not want to end her life in hospital and was supported at the end by Oakcroft's end of life procedures. Staff were gentle, supportive, and respectful of her and her family as she slipped away with carers and Oakcroft nurses
making sure she was as comfortable as possible.

My husband was very well looked after. He had the smallest room, but it was all ok and if I wanted him downstairs, joining in with all the activities, which he did until he felt very ill. Food was okay, he loved to eat, so sometimes asked for something more, which was given. The carers were wonderful,
they deserve so much praise. Nothing was too much trouble. Activities were the best.

My neighbour was in Oakcroft for 20 days and was well looked after. Staff were kind. I liked the care home.
The care home was unfortunately unable to meet my neighbour's needs - high level dementia, so they moved her to another more suitable home. I was disappointed that, as her next of kin, I was
not informed or involved in this move, which took her outside our locality.

My uncle has been at Oakcroft since December 2024.
We are so pleased to have found this care home, it's such a wonderful place. Reminds me of a cosy Seaside B+B Hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
He has a bright, peaceful room on the 2nd floor with lift access.
Staff are caring and take
the time to help and attend to his needs, with nothing seeming too much trouble. Food is freshly cooked daily, they have same delicious dishes

Mum seems happy. She particularly enjoys all the activities. Bingo & choir are her favourites. She's really looking forward to getting out into the garden when the weather improves as she loves gardening. The care my mother received while in the home was excellent. Although she was unable to enjoy all the activities, it was clear that the resident's care and entertainment were very good. I was kept informed about any changing conditions of my husband. They noted changes that had to be made. Checked in on him, monitored him and noted his condition had changed, and called an ambulance. I was comforted that their prompt action gave my husband the best chance of survival. Sadly his illness
had won.

Since my great uncle has moved into this care home I felt reassured knowing he is in good hands. The staff were always kind and patient with him even when his health declined. They kept me updated on his condition and any changes, which meant a lot. I was supervised with a variety of activities and
programs although my uncle did take advantage of them. It was clean and they put a lot of effort into keeping residents engaged and happy. The home was clean and tidy.

My dad went into Oakcroft House in June 2024. As a family, we were apprehensive about sending him to a nursing home but he needed more care and was palliative. The welcome we were given from all the staff was amazing and they all put us at ease, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The staff
took their time to get to know both Dad and Mum, the care was very person-centred. The food was restaurant quality and even thou he didn't eat much he enjoyed what he had. Dad peacefully passed away this week the staff were so respectful and supportive. He was there less than 3 weeks but what a lovely end-of-life experience Oakcroft House made it for him and us.

Stayed at Oakcroft for post-operative care and it was a much better experience than trying to cope at home, even with help. Professional caring staff, lovely meals, nothing too much trouble for them and cups of tea on tap.

It was one of the most difficult things we had to do to put my father-in-law into care. I am delighted to say that the quality of care exceeded our expectations and the attentiveness of all the staff has been exceptional. There is a lovely atmosphere at Oakcroft. The activities provided are so good
and varied - something for everybody. Sadly he passed away last week but we have nothing but praise for the way in which his passing was handled by all the staff and their sympathetic interaction with the family. We will be eternally grateful.

Mum is very settled and happy at Oakcroft. She receives excellent care, support and encouragement from the whole team who are kind, friendly, dedicated, and professional and have an instinctive understanding of their residents' needs and wishes. Mum thoroughly enjoys the social lunches - the menu choices
are really good and the many varied entertainment events she now attends as part of the Oakcroft community. My heartfelt thanks.
