Excellent attention, kindness and professionalism was very much on display from medics and all members of staff. I had a very satisfactory and pleasing experience.

All the staff, without exception were friendly and helpful. They also made my visitors welcome, with no restrictions on visiting hours.

The team at Oakcroft House were so helpful in all they did. They guided us through the whole process, but more importantly were just lovely looking after Dad. Everyone was so friendly and you could tell they really cared abotu the residents. We are extremely grateful for all the care they gave.

All of the team are very attentive & professional with our cousin. They are very friendly to her & us. Lunch was lovely (fish & chip Friday). The only area which has declined over the last year is the tea/coffee/snack/refreshment station for visitors. eg no hot water for cup of tea however this does
not reflect in the care of the residents. We are very relieved that our cousin is well looked after, it gives us peace of mind.

Nice atmosphere in home & staff very kind & helpful. All very busy jobs from residents points of view. Visitors have no idea!! Nor did I on arrival.

Oakcroft is very well managed with a warm and welcoming homely atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable with good facilities and the daily food menu is superb. All the residents can take part in the excellent activities and trips arranged for them.
Our family member has settled into Oakcroft in a very
short time. It is comforting to know he is being cared for by such kind,considerate and capable staff, always ready with a smile and a friendly greeting they are 5 Star!

We are very very happy with the care here at Oakcroft.
The care staff and management are among the best we have seen.
Rooms are spacious and well fitted out. All the facilities are excellent.

During the two years my Mum needed full time nursing care, she was resident at Oakcroft. As a family we felt extremely lucky that a bed had been available when Mum needed one. Oakcroft staff were unfailingly cheerful and proficient, even as Mum's character deteriorated due to vascular dementia and
she was at times abusive. The staff were always warm and friendly, and very capable. The facilities are excellent, with a lovely garden and pleasant conservatory and Mum loved to see the trees which surround the property. I can thoroughly recommend Oakcroft to anyone in need of a nursing or care home.

My mother was resident at Oakcroft for about 2 years. She was clear she did not want to end her life in hospital and was supported at the end by Oakcroft's end of life procedures. Staff were gentle, supportive, and respectful of her and her family as she slipped away with carers and Oakcroft nurses
making sure she was as comfortable as possible.

My husband was very well looked after. He had the smallest room, but it was all ok and if I wanted him downstairs, joining in with all the activities, which he did until he felt very ill. Food was okay, he loved to eat, so sometimes asked for something more, which was given. The carers were
wonderful, they deserve so much praise. Nothing was too much trouble. Activities were the best.

My neighbour was in Oakcroft for 20 days and was well looked after. Staff were kind. I liked the care home.
The care home was unfortunately unable to meet my neighbour's needs - high level dementia, so they moved her to another more suitable home. I was disappointed that, as her next of kin, I was
not informed or involved in this move, which took her outside our locality.

Since my aunty has been staying here I have always found the staff helpful and caring. She is always clean and well-kept. There seems a good choice of food and entertainment.
If there is a problem we are always notified promptly.
Overall my aunty seems very happy here.

My uncle has been at Oakcroft since December 2024.
We are so pleased to have found this care home, it's such a wonderful place. Reminds me of a cosy Seaside B+B Hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
He has a bright, peaceful room on the 2nd floor with lift access.
Staff are caring and take
the time to help and attend to his needs, with nothing seeming too much trouble. Food is freshly cooked daily, they have same delicious dishes
