Oakcroft House provides nursing, residential and short stay care. They’re there when you and your loved ones need them most. For planned respite or last-minute trips. A safe space to recover after an operation. To experience what their home’s like before moving long-term. To just relax. Whatever the reason, their doors are open.

Close to the centre of West Byfleet village, the large house features many areas for residents to spend time in, and welcome friends and family into the home. With wheelchair friendly pathways throughout the large garden, the surroundings are ideal for enjoying the summer months.

All bedrooms have ensuite facilities and are pleasantly decorated and furnished. There is an onsite library and residents also have access to Wifi, relaxation therapies, a nutritionist and an optician.

The chef produces tasty seasonal meals every day to ensure residents eat a variety of delicious and healthy food.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. Dedicated activity coordinators help ensure residents are able to pursue their hobbies and interests, as well as organising a range of activities which include bingo, quizzes, flower arranging and music sessions, there is so much for residents to enjoy. Regular trips to the garden centre are also enjoyed as are shopping trips and themed monthly events.

Staff at Oakcroft, thank you for all the love and professionalism you have given him over the last three and a half years.
Nothing has been to much trouble - you all work so hard, your dedication to the residents is excellent.
He always looked clean and tidy, which pleased me no end. I wish to say
the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. He loved his breakfast club, and always enjoyed his food.
Once again, thank you all from the manager to the laundry lady.

My mother suffered from Dementia and could not walk or care for herself in the last 2 years of her life. So she lived at Oakcroft where she was well cared for by the lovely staff and my father, my sister, all the grandchildren and I were able to visit her whenever we liked, which we did every day including
Christmas Day. I think Mum could be a bit of a handful at times but the staff were always cheerful and professional when handling her, always leaving her with a smile on her face. She was kept busy with activities and entertainers or in her lovely bright room watching TV and DVDs when feeling antisocial. It's worth mentioning that the staff were also very good to us too, always pleased to see us, always time to chat and always offering us a cup of tea. We couldn't recommend Oakcroft House highly enough.

My father-in-law went into Oakcroft House for end of life care. He was kept pain free, comfortable and all of his needs were met with dignity and compassion.


He had a lovely sunny room with a nice outlook. The staff at Oakcroft are amazing, and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would have no hesitation

in recommending Oakcroft House to anyone who may be looking for a care home.

I transferred my aunt here from a care home in Wales to be nearer to the family. She was on a rapid decline health-wise, had become wheelchair-bound, uncaring of her appearance and her memory was poor.
With the care and attention shown to her at Oakcroft House, there has been a complete turnaround
in her attitude and memory.
The staff and home manager are wonderful and extremely caring and go above and beyond. With their help my aunt has attended a family wedding and christening during the 2 years she has been here and regularly comes to visit us for Sunday lunch.
The cleanliness, maintenance and food are all exceptional and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I honestly couldn't have wished for a greater team of people to provide such love and care to my grandad during his time at Oakcroft House. The staff here are all absolutely amazing, friendly, devoted, dedicated individuals who come together to create the most wonderful team. My grandad really enjoyed
his time here. I know this because from the moment he moved in, his beaming smile was restored and this certainly continued throughout his stay. The activity facility is brilliant, with a whole variety of things to do. This was definitely one of his favourite places to be. The house itself is kept beautifully clean throughout. Overall, I would highly recommend Oakcroft House Care Home! I will forever be grateful for the pure happiness and all the lovely things my grandad got to experience here. Thank you.

Oakcroft became my Mother’s home 10 years ago. My Father had been in the same home 7 years prior to my Mother and there was no question on which home we were choosing. A number of the staff were still at Oakcroft and some are still here to this day, which in my eyes says a lot. The staff are all so
friendly, which makes Oakcroft the home it is today.
I wish to thank the staff for being such stars during this pandemic and being on the ball made Oakcroft a safe place for all our loved ones.
I would highly recommend Oakcroft, whether it’s for respite or a future home for your loved ones.

My aunt was admitted to Oakcroft due to a traumatic stroke with numerous disabilities. Her life expectancy was very uncertain. She surprised us all by remaining here for four years and five months. The care she received was excellent, the staff cheerful, kind and hard-working. The activities, garden
and indoor spaces provided an unthinkable quality of life regardless of disabilities. Most of all, the love and dignity shown to her provided a secure, happy environment to end her last years. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home, with heartfelt thanks to all.

My father has been at Oakcroft for 18 months now and I cannot fault the dedication and loving care provided by caregivers at the home. Whenever I visit I am always greeted in a friendly way and I can see that dad, who has multiple needs, is being cared for both professionally and in a really warm manner.

My mother was at Oakcroft House for about nine and a half months, before she sadly died in April 2020 at the age of 101.

We felt she could not have been in better hands from both a nursing and care point of view and we particularly liked the small and homely nature of Oakcroft and the friendly atmosphere
between residents, carers and families.

The residents are also very lucky to have such a full programme of activities and special events laid on by their activities coordinator and others. I know that the weekly hairdressing was also a special feature of our mother’s stay.

We are very grateful to all the staff for taking such good care of her while she was there and for coping so well under such difficult circumstances during the coronavirus situation.

I cannot speak too highly of Oakcroft House, they have been wonderful and so caring to my late husband. The staff and the other residents appear happy, the cleanliness and the meals are excellent. I am still in my own home with Danny my dog at present but when the time comes to move into a care home,
then I will have no hesitation in choosing Oakcroft House and hope that there will be a space available for me.

From the first point, my dad needed a nursing home the director of Oakcroft stepped up and made this a smooth transition. His support to our family continues to be first class. The staff at the home are great, it is clear they care about what they do and they make my dad happy, I often see him laughing
with them. He has someone who gets him up and dresses him. I have watched the care taken to make sure he is nicely attired, glasses cleaned and hair combed before leaving his bedroom. On his return from a stay in hospital, I saw the hugs that were given out, it was wonderful to see. The home activities are well thought out and not only provide entertainment but help keep minds active, hands flexible etc. They also include the families in the life at Oakcroft, the annual BBQ is good fun. Additionally, they have provided me with several books of photographs showing my dad having fun. I had been worried about my dad going into a home, now I know he is safe, well cared for, loved and supported.

The management staff at Oakcroft House have been very helpful and understanding as we have moved my mother to this home.
They came to visit her in her previous setting (an hour's drive) and really show that personal touch.
They are compassionate and caring, welcoming my mother into the home, and available
for chatting to as she has been settling in.
There is a personal, homely atmosphere, the staff are friendly and cheerful and I know my mother is in safe hands.
PS - the food is very good.

In the short time my mother has been at Oakcroft House she has always been treated with care, kindness and dignity by all the staff. The food is excellent and there are plenty of activities for the residents to engage in. I would highly recommend Oakcroft House to family and friends if needed.

When my uncle required nursing care there really was an obvious choice for me and that was Oakcroft, who had cared for my aunt at the end of her life so well. The team at Oakcroft remembered him from when he visited my aunt and were delighted to welcome him. I really didn't think he would survive the
journey from the hospital and so was thrilled to hear that a day after arriving he was in the Activities Room! He has since gone from strength to strength thanks to the care of all the staff at Oakcroft. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering nursing care for a relative. We have since celebrated my uncle's 90th birthday, a day we didn't think he would see!
