My mum has been in Abbotsleigh mews Mac unit for four years this month. My sister and myself are very happy with the way mum is being looked after. A lot of the staff mean so much to my mum especially Ruth in charge of activities. Ruth goes above and beyond her duties. She said to me once. it's lovely when you see a small light come back to a patient. This happened to my mum with Ruth this week. Ruth sent me a video of my mum singing and asked if mum was in a choir. I said yes the Swanley coral society. Mum remembered that and had already told Ruth.This was such a special moment for mum Ruth and myself.I can never thank Ruth enough for sharing this with me. I know it makes all her hard work worth it moments like this with patients. Also Clair the hostess is very loved by my mum. My sister and I would like to give a great big THANK YOU to all the staff at Abbotsleigh for the great care and continuing care given to our mum .

Overall Experience
All the staff at havelock are polite, kind and proffesional.
However, I think havelock could improve with a tea/coffee trolley, they people could help themselves in the kitchen, but no patients seem or able to do this.
Maybe to have more patience during mealtimes.
Havelock is usually clean.

I strongly disagree that there is a fee if a carer needs to accompany a patient to a hospital appointment.

I'm very happy with the care my mother is receiving. Friendly and attentive staff - and she has a great room too, which overlooks the garden. The staff are always helpful and welcoming to me when I visit. Communication is excellent too and I get regular emails from the care home. We're both grateful my mother is at Red Court and we would highly recommend it

The staff at Nairn House are wonderful - they look after Mum so well and they are lovely to family and frends. It's a lovely atmosphere in the home. The residents are well looked after, there seems to be a wide range of activites although I've only seen the man who runs the music sessions. It's good to know Mum is well looked after & staff call either me or my sister if there are any issues. Overall we are happy with the care here

I have been visiting an old friend of ours since she moved in June 2024. When she was moved in she was in a very unwell and her husband had been informed that she would end her days there. Well the transformation over the last two years have been amazing and she left to go home recently having restored her ability to self manage. It's been a joy to visit her , all the staff we met have been great and taken the time to chat when we visited. On occasions we stayed for a bit of lunch, never did we feel we were getting in the way of the daily operation of the home. It is clear that the staff were very fond of our friend which has made our visits so easy. The place always seemed cared for which considering its home for the residents made it so much more than just care home.

Overall Experience

A very pleasant care home. All the staff that I have had interaction with are friendly and genuinely helpful. The whole transfer process from Northwick Park was handled efficiently and flexibly by HCCH. The room is airy, spacious and clean with the added bonus of being able to bring personal possessions to make surroundings homely. All in all, a very positive start.

Overall Experience

My father received exceptional care at Highgate Care Home. I cannot recommend it more highly. He was well looked after with very good personal care as well as carers taking time to be with him and get to know him in the last 5 months of his life. The nursing staff managed his pain very well. The care home is very well organised and clean, and there was a joyful atmosphere. As a relative I also felt very well cared for.

Overall Experience

Fantastic care home. Staff and management are excellent, caring and professional. I'm able to call at any time of the day or night and I'm always given a warm welcome and am able to speak to my partner. They have a great selection of meals to suit all diets and there's always someone available to answer any questions or queries I have. The space is welcoming and I would recommend.

Overall Experience
My family member has been a resident here for a year and has been extremely well cared for. All members of staff I have encountered are compassionate and hard working and any minor issues have been resolved quickly. Communication has been a strength, as has medical input from the local GP practice.

The well maintained grounds are a plus as are the larger than average rooms. The staff ensure that key events in the yearly calendar are celebrated and a wide range of activities are organised daily. Highly recommended.
