My Mum has been very well cared for in the 2 1/2 years she's been at Abbotsleigh Mews. She has severe physical disabilities following a stroke and she has been totally reliant on the exceptional nursing care she has received. Additional to her physical care, she has been treated with real affection.
The care staff chat with her and make her laugh. The unit is always kept very clean and the gardens are absolutely lovely.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My father has been a bed-bound resident at this care home since March 2025, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care he has received. From day one, the staff have shown genuine compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness to his complex needs.
Despite the challenges that come
with being bed-bound, he has been treated with dignity and respect at every turn. The nursing team is consistently responsive, and the carers go above and beyond to ensure his comfort and emotional well-being. Communication with our family has been clear and reassuring, and we always feel confident that he is in safe hands.
The atmosphere in the home is warm and welcoming, and it's clear that the staff take pride in creating a supportive environment for both residents and their families. We are deeply grateful for the care and kindness shown to our father-it has made all the difference.

My husband spent 5 weeks in Sidcup Care Home. He went there for palliative care after suffering from a brain tumour. I cannot speak highly enough of the care he was given during those 5 weeks. Every need was taken care of and although I visited at different times each day, I never found him unkempt
in anyway. They were very attentive as he grew weaker and I have nothing but praise to all concerned.

Excellent home my sister in-law has been in bupa care home for 11 years and I highly recommend it. The activities manager is brilliant and deserves a special mention. The range and extent of activities and the thought and care that goes into them is what makes this home better than many others in our
opinion and many thanks to all the nurses and staff who have looked after my sister-in-law.

The staff are welcoming every time I visit with my son. They check in on mum regularly during our visits and let us know about facilities available to mum and her grandson during our visit. My mother has been a resident at Westcombe Park for many years now , and we have seen a real improvement over the years.
The carers work very hard to make sure she is well cared for and always happy to go the extra when requested. More recently my mum managed to attend her granddaughter's wedding
and staff were happy to make sure she felt special on the big day .
As always the entertainment team do an amazing job of keeping the residents stimulated with games music and theme days on a daily basis and throughout the year .
Her room is always kept clean and tidy but admittedly could do with repainting and new carpet .
Overall she is happy and content and very grateful to all the staff for all they do

My mother has been in the care home for almost 3 years and we have been very happy in the knowledge she is in safe hands. The care provided is great, the staff are patient and kind working in often difficult circumstances. I would and have recommend Westcombe Park care home to anyone in the same situation.

My cousin has been a resident at Westcombe Park Care Home since March 2023. She loves it there and, in her own words, she feels safe and happy. There is a friendly atmosphere and the staff are kind and caring. There is a good social calendar, with lots of activities in the lounge for the residents.
Even Elvis visits every few months! We are always kept well informed about any issues with my cousin and she is very well looked after.

My Uncle has lost the use of his legs and is cared for 24 / 7 washing , feeding, wheeled to the common room and is entertained by staff or visiting singers, musicians, craft days and these are enormous distractions and take his mind off his ailments . I also can rest easy knowing that there is someone
close by 24/7 to attend if he needs anything . They do regular tests on weight ad other basic counts like blood pressure etc. and review and amend diet or medication with the Doctors as required. He has a comfortable room with a bed that can be raised and lowered in multiple ways with a hand held remote and he can manage that during the day.

The level of care at Westcombe Park Care Home is very high. My mother receives the best possible care and is very at peace and serene in the home. The staff are lovely and treat my mother very well. The medical attention is also top tier and my mother really enjoys the food.
The care home provides
bespoke care for each individual residents needs and have always facilitated my mother in anything she enjoys doing. I am extremely happy with the level of care she receives, the communication with the staff and the facilities at the care home.
