Idil always gives us a warm and friendly welcome. Her huge smile and compassionate nature are easy to see as she greets everyone. Nothing is too much trouble. Our friend/resident has lovely things to say about her always. Reception is warm and spotlessly clean. A special mention for Octavian who goes
above and beyond. No task too big or small. No request ignored. Thank you guys for making us feel special. Coffee better than a major coffee chain.

Abbotsleigh Mews Care Home

from Paul H (Son of Resident) published on 26 March 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
From the first time I met Kelly and Jen when they came to visit mum at home, I felt reassured she would be well looked after. Kelly, the manager, was professional, approachable and clearly runs the home with the right values. Jen, the senior, was equally kind and attentive. Both took the time to really
listen and understand mum, which made a difficult decision much easier.

The home itself is quite simple and no-frills, but what it may lack in luxury it more than makes up for in the people who work there. The staff are warm, caring and treat the residents with genuine respect and kindness.

I also really value that I'm welcome to visit at any time, day or night, which shows the openness and confidence they have in the care they provide.

Knowing mum is surrounded by people who genuinely care gives me real peace of mind.

It's hard to entrust others to take care of a loved one, but you take the risk hoping that they will give the level of care required. I am very happy with the care provided and the attention to detail. They have restored dignity and joy, and for that I am extremely grateful. I was so proud of the birthday
party the staff and event coordinator, Valentina, organised in October at short notice. They managed to prepare a room with decorations, music and all the fun and fancy required to make a memorable birthday for my loved one. Thank you.

I have a very positive view and experience of this care home. The staff are kind, attentive and genuinely care about the residents. The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming and communication with families is excellent. It's clear the residents are treated with dignity and respect and I would highly
recommend this care home to anyone looking for compassionate high quality care for a loved one.
