Thank you all so very much for all the love and care you have given to my uncle Dennis.

The care, nursing and physical support has got him from not working to back up on his feet and able to go home again, and the 6 months of support you have shown him has lifted him out of depression. All my/our love and thanks to you all. xxx

We are so grateful for the amazing care our uncle is receiving at Havering Court.
He is there temporarily for care and rehabilitation, following a long hospital stay recovering from illness.
In just 3 weeks he has progressed so much both in his mood and physically.
This is all thanks to the wonderful team of carers, nurses, physios, domestic, kitchen and everyone.
All are so friendly and positive and are encouraging him on his road to recovery.
He is now able to walk, a little, for the first time in 4 months. He also loves the food!

Choosing a care home for a loved one is scary, we felt supported and understood, exactly what we needed, at a very difficult time.

My mother has been here for 10 years, in that time she has had great care, and feels at home. Carers are warm & friendly, going beyond their duties to make her feel looked after and a part of a family environment. We, the family, are very grateful & appreciate the home. We are also welcome at any visit.

Review from L O (Respite Resident) published on 19 June 2024 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Upon arrival I was welcomed by the lovely assistant manager who had met me previously having taken time to assess my needs at the hospital. The staff here are overall truly lovely and cannot do enough to help - one member of staff in particular is a carer here and cares from her heart, another member of staff is in events and always has a cheerful chat. You are afforded space to heal and breathe, but given great care, healthy choice of food, although you arrive alone, you could never feel lonely, rooms are cleaned daily by great staff like one member of staff in particular. Will be hard to leave here. My thanks to all.

My mum has been in Havering Court since September 2022, in that time we can only but compliment the home on how amazing it and the staff have been. The home itself is in a lovely setting with wildlife literally outside the window, mum regularly watches the squirrels playing outside. The home is clean and tidy, no smells at all. They have singers and other entertainment which Mum has enjoyed. As a family, we are always welcome including children and pets (or as a group). The staff are all amazing more like friends to us all. The care is 2nd to none, all residents are clean, tidy, showered, smart, and most of all quality of life is upheld at all times (inc choices). We would like to thank all of the staff that deal with Mum from nurses, carers, cleaners, etc; you are all amazing and we appreciate everything you have done for my mum and all of us as a family! Thank you for putting a smile on mums face and for the outstanding care she has received!
