Nairn House is a purpose-built home in Enfield that warmly welcomes people with a range of residential and nursing care needs, including palliative and Parkinson's care.

They’re there when you and your loved ones need them most. For planned respite or last-minute trips. A safe space to recover after an operation. To experience what their home’s like before moving long-term. To just relax. Whatever the reason, their doors are open.

Nairn House is set within pleasant grounds and situated close to local amenities such as shops and a bus route. Accommodation features furnished en suite bedrooms with views of the gardens and each room has a 24-hour call system.

Meals are varied to suit individual tastes and diet and prepared daily by the in-house chef. They also talk to each resident about their likes, dislikes and any special dietary needs when they move in. That way, their food is cooked just right. A Night Bite menu is also available for out of hours snacks and refreshments.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. Dedicated activity coordinators help ensure residents are able to pursue their hobbies and interests, as well as organising a range of activities which include bingo, quizzes, flower arranging and music sessions, there is so much for residents to enjoy. Regular trips to the seaside are also enjoyed as are shopping trips and themed monthly events.

I am happy living here, I feel very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and help me out when I need it. I am happy with the cleanliness of the home. The soup is my favourite. I like the fact that they add a bit of spice.

I am very happy with the care Ian gets here. The room is clean and very pleasant. Good light from the windows, which helps.
All the staff seem kind and attentive to him, although he gets very confused.

Our experience of Nairn Care Home was exceptional.
The staff exceeded our expectations. In terms of the care, respect and compassion my husband received, this is what excellence looks like. All staff whether managerial, nursing, caring or auxiliary made my husband feel welcome, safe, secure, clean
and comfortable.
The team maintained a cheerful environment that lifted our spirits. They remained calm and patient even during difficult moments. What impressed me as a visitor was the staff's diligence and love for their roles. Every detail of my husband's care was handled with thoughtfulness, from daily routines to emotional support. Communication was open and reassuring. My husband was looked after both in body and soul. The staff go above and beyond every day and their commitment, warmth, decency and humanity meant that I could relax knowing that he was in excellent hands, aided towards his recovery, in a happy place where residents are truly cared for and valued.

The day I entered this care home to assess its suitability for my mum, I was overwhelmed with the cleanliness, large spacious rooms, nicely decorated modern communal areas, and inviting gardens and pleasant staff. Over the months I've been visiting my mum, I cannot fault anything. Gradually, I am meeting
the dedicated staff members, and they are all professional and caring. This is also a peaceful environment where I can spend quality time with my mother, enjoy a cup of tea and a complimentary cake. I intend to book my place here in the future.

The staff are excellent. My husband has respite care at Nairn House and he is well looked after. The activities for the residents are well managed and the residents receive good care. This is the 2nd time my husband is at Nairn House for short term respite care.

I stayed at Nairn House Enfield for just under a week whilst my children were out of the country. I cannot emphasise enough how kind and caring all the staff were. My room looked as though it had been freshly decorated and had an en-suite wet room. Everyone made you feel confident and important. I

We enjoy our visits to Nairm House. The staff are always friendly and obliging. My mother in law always seems happy with her room and interacts with staff on a really friendly basis.
She enjoys company and needs to get out more, but this is due to her reluctance to be moved from the safety of her

The staff are amazing and well informed as well as friendly Upon arrival we are notified of our Mum's condition, what she has eaten, as well as who has visited her. We very rarely have to ask for information as we have already been updated.

I have known the resident for more than 50 years.
I can see she is well cared for. The room is very clean and well decorated. Very roomy and furnished very nicely.
