The Highgate Care Home

I worked in the healthcare sector since January 2015 after completing my university degree in nursing having various roles. As a Registered Nurse and Home Manager, I am committed to delivering the very highest standard of care to all my residents, alongside my highly qualified team at The Highgate.

In 2020 I completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. I am looking forward to the opportunity of meeting new people in an environment which is familiar to me, and to make a positive impact and difference to those residents, staff and relatives who I come in contact with.

Matteo joined Bupa in 2024 as a Registered Nurse and quickly became a valued member of the team. Thanks to his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to providing high-quality care, he was promoted to Clinical Deputy Manager in September 2025.

With extensive experience working in care homes, Matteo brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to his role. He is passionate about supporting both residents and staff, always taking the time to listen, offer guidance, and ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Matteo is well known for his positive attitude and willingness to help others. He works closely with the care team to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment where residents feel respected, valued, and truly at home.

Hello, my name is Eilin. I am the Head of Housekeeping and I love being part of the team at The Highgate. I joined Bupa in May 2022 as a Senior Housepeeker. My aim is to make everyone happy within our community at The Highgate. I am so lucky to have such an amazing team that works hard every single day to provide the best service possible to everyone at

I started working at The Highgate as part of the kitchen team in May 2022. I really enjoy working in the kitchen and have learnt so much. We really do provide outstanding quality food and we meet with residents regularly to ensure our menu reflects their favourite foods with a delicious nutritious varied menu.

Hi, my name is Simona and I’m the Financial Administrator at The Highgate Care Home.

I joined Bupa and the healthcare sector in 2021 after my Psychology Master's Degree and Level 3 Diploma in HR.

Started at The Highgate as Admin/Receptionist and was promoted to Financial Administrator in April 2024.

I have experience in providing excellent customer service and the ability to build strong relationships with our residents and their families.

My caring attitude underpins everything I do, to make a real difference to people’s lives.

A polite, friendly and extremely capable receptionist, with a passion for delivering excellent front-of-house support to colleagues, residents and visitors. I have excellent communication and listening skills, face-to-face and over the phone. With many years of experience working as a receptionist within the care home sector, I take great pride in my work here at the Highgate and in building a rapport with visitors. An aspiring music therapist, I have delivered creative workshops in care homes, youth clubs, and community centres, using music and art to inspire engagement and connection.

I now dedicate my work to The Highgate, supporting the well-being of residents, designing activities that blend creativity, social interaction, and personal growth.
