At Stamford, the team are trained in nursing and residential care, dementia care, palliative, post operative convalescence and respite care. They are also experienced in tailoring support for adults with challenging behaviour, including for younger adults with a physical disability. Advanced bookings are available.

Spacious bedrooms and living areas are ideal for residents with a disability, en-suite and decorated to achieve a relaxing atmosphere. There are call systems and TV points in bedrooms which clients are welcome to personalise.

Diet is assessed shortly after arrival and meals are made from freshly-sourced produce. There are hot and cold alternatives available and a choice of dining with other residents or in the privacy of bedrooms.

There is a real sense of community at Stamford. Games, reminiscence sessions and trips to the parks are included in a varied activities programme, with the home committed to supporting personal interests.

Had a rocky start when mum moved in but now everything seems ok. My mum does miss a cigarette. Staff seem very pleasant and room is ok!

The staff are welcoming every time I visit with my son. They check in on mum regularly during our visits and let us know about facilities available to mum and her grandson during our visit. My son has enjoyed sitting with grandmum in the garden. One staff member in particular is great with all the residents
and another two members of staff have become friends with mum.

I have witnessed a delightful 2 weeks at the Stamford Nursing Home, I can now rest in the knowledge that all members of staff are truly dedicated to the residents as there is a family atmosphere. The overall opinion I have of Stamford Nursing Home is excellent in all areas as follows, hygiene, food,
entertainment and encouragement prompt and reassurance is always present. I am truly grateful that my husband has been accepted and is extremely well looked after in all departments of his daily living.

My brother appears to have settled in well. He is well cared for and his needs met. He is happy in his environment and his medical situation is monitored constantly.
The staff are very caring and the environment provided is good. Outings away from the home I feel, would be beneficial and more weekend
family/friends gatherings would be appreciated.

My mother has been a resident here for nearly a year. We are very happy with the care and attention she has been receiving.
The staff are very patient and attentive to her every needs.
I don't think we could have looked after or cared for my mother any better ourselves if she were living with us.
I
visit her very frequently - every other day - and when I leave her after my visit, I know that she is in good hands and don't worry about her.

I can highly recommend Stamford Care Home. The overall standard of care is excellent, care and support is very good.

My dad has been a resident in Stamford Care Home for just over two years.
He is well looked after, seems to be clean and well-dressed whenever I visit him. Furthermore, his room and bed are always clean.
My family and I are incredibly grateful to the wonderful staff and the amazing care they provide.

A male member of staff went out of his way to find one of Mum's hearing aids that went missing on Thursday 5th October. He went to the laundry area and searched for the hearing aid and it was then found. We were so pleased that he found it. He also very kindly lent me his phone charger. Mum is on the
second floor in Stamford and has dementia. She receives good care from the staff.
