My dear aunt is a resident at Eglantine and has dementia. I follow her on your social media page. She seems so happy there. I am most impressed with the number of activities you do to keep the residents active and happy. She celebrated her 100th birthday in May and I attended the tea party Eglantine
put on for her. It was amazing. From the DJ to the decorations, food and even personalised goody bags. They even arranged for my aunt to receive 100 birthday cards, which ended up over nearly 300. The staff are so caring, you couldn't ask for anything more.
Reply from Alison Horridge, Customer Advisor on behalf of the team at Eglantine Villa Care HomeThank you for your lovey review. We are very happy to hear you feel at ease with your Aunt in our care and enjoy being able to follow what she gets up to on our social media. We love helping our residents and their families celebrate every birthday but your Aunt turning 100 deserved an extra special party! We are so happy that you enjoyed the event.

The care that mum is now receiving at Warren Lodge is five-star! All the staff I have met who are looking after my mum have been caring, compassionate, kind and professional. I receive regular updates by phone and email. My questions are answered in an open and honest manner. I particularly like the
resident of the day! I am so glad mum is living in Warren Lodge. While the prognosis is very poor, the team are focusing on mum's comfort and treating her with dignity. This includes hoisting her to a wheelchair, wrapping her up and taking her outside on a sunny day. Thank you.
Reply from Fran Donno, Customer Service Adviser at Warren Lodge Care HomeWe appreciate you sharing your experience with our home. Warren Lodge Care Home

I do not expect to visit my husband late morning and have to clean his teeth/dentures and apply fixodent as they are falling out. He wears his day clothes to bed at night as there is no night routine with him being reminded/assisted to get ready for bed in pygamas. Since entering the home in May 2025
he has only worn pygamas once. I have made a complaint to the assistant manager however nothing changes. My husband is not encouraged to move around or walk round the garden enough. I asked the manager for a complaints leaflet was told they don't have any. The manager didn't even ask what the problem was.

This is an excellent care home, probably the best in the area.
My mother has been a resident here for nearly six years and is very happy.
She is no longer lonely, has made lots of friends and there is always something going on and to look forward to. Recently there was a trip to a shopping centre,
she regularly has a manicure and a new cafe has been opened. Would highly recommend Staplehurst Manor.

It has been a bit up and down. At times there are not enough carers when needed, but they do their best. I have asked for beakers to be replaced as tea stains showing when water inside. Regular meetings for families and residents are a plus. This has assisted when raising any issues. All the staff on
duty on my sisters birthday made the day a very happy one. Thank you all. Staff are doing their best under, at times, difficult situations.

My Mum has lived at Wilmington Manor for 21 months and is now sadly near the end of her life. The care she is receiving is compassionate, kind and professional. The Home is very clean, the laundry service is first class, the kitchen/dining staff are excellent and the carers/nurses are lovely. Activities
are varied and Robert brings in The Metro newspaper every day for everyone. Friday is Louise's day for hairdressing. There are events arranged for entertainment and keep fit too. Mum loved a ride in her wheelchair around the grounds, looking at the flowers and trees. Its possible to go right round the house. The gardener does a brilliant job keeping the leaves off the lawn too. Overall we have made some lovely friends at Wilmington Manor.

My dad was asked what he loved the most, being February, the month of love. He replied, having a steak meal with his family! Eglantine provided this for him and 5 members of his family. A three course meal with wine, chocolates, tea and coffee in a private room. We were waited on and made to feel very
special. It was a fantastic experience for him as we used to do this with him weekly. Thank you so much for his wish coming true.
