All the staff are very helpful and there is always a good variety of activities. The food is always very good using fresh ingredients and cooked on site. The nurses are always very good and as I was a nurse myself I'm impressed. The gardens are beautiful and I very much enjoy them with my son. I would like to say that I very much enjoy being here.

The care my mother receives at Staplehurst Manor is first class. She recently has been poorly and was looked after by all the staff with much kindness, which is just wonderful. There is a happy atmosphere as soon as you enter the building and it feels more like a hotel than a care home.

Overall it's a lovely home with great staff to many really good carers to name but some defo stand out more and go beyond it's so hard as they are all so good Jackie on reception is the first to come into contact with at weekends and she's brilliant as are Linda and Pam Vicky the cleaners and laundry girls fantastic

I visited Wilmington Manor a few months ago looking for a home for my mum, I was warmly greeted and shown around. The manager stayed in touch with me while I was waiting for my mum to come out of hospital. I am very pleased to say my mum is now a Resident at Wilmington Manor.

There is on several occasions a smell of urine in my mum's room, the carpet would need cleaning more often. I also would like a bit more communication from the carehome such as what toiletries my mum needs.

Waiting time for attention is too long. Night staff service lacks attention to detail and common sense/empathy. Most day staff are good and do their very best but in view of the above, staffing levels must be too low.

Staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. A homely environment, sensitive to the residents' needs.

Good very pretty place. Mom loved all the staff & is looking forward to maybe coming back full time in the future. Lots for her to do.

Mum and I feel that generally the care is very good. Sometimes there are some communication issues between staff. Call bell is often on the floor despite constant reminders to staff. (A pendant was ordered for mum on 13/8 and has still not appeared.

The singer was well chosen and understood her audience well. The activities organiser had gone to great lengths to decorate the lounge and garden room with a tropical beach theme. Residents were enjoying sipping their cocktails/ mocktails whilst singing along or dancing with team members who were all wearing floral garlands. It was lovely to share a fun time and a really good laugh with Dad and other residents, and see residents and staff having such a good time together.

This has been just what Dad needed to help him adjust to new health conditions and mobility issues, in the time he has been at Wilmington he has come on leaps and bounds. Myself and my family are truly grateful. Many thanks.

My Husband who is suffering with Dementia and other ailments went into Warren Lodge in April,at first for respite but after assessment for full time care,It really is a lovely place where nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff..they are very calm and patient with everyone in there and always make myself and my family feel most welcome when we can get up for a visit..we live quite a way away and I have to rely on lifts..I would give this place an easy 10/10 as it is so well managed ,clean and all the staff are polite and helpful.I know my husband is now in the best place possible.

It would benefit from having good stable management, since my mother has been a resident there has been several changes. this needs to be addressed ASAP. I feel that some of the carers are a little lax at times.

My mum was at Fountains Lodge 2 years. During that time, she was treated with dignity, respect, kindness and love. Everything you would want for your loved one. The staff at Fountains Lodge are amazing. While mum was at Fountains Lodge she made friends, meaning she had company in the evenings and people to have meals with. The food is excellent. All home cooked. Sadly, at the end of my mum's life, she had to go into palliative care. But thankfully this did not mean that she had to go to hospital. She was able to stay at Fountain Lodge, a place she knew, and be looked after by people who genuinely cared for her. At the end, when mum no longer wanted to eat, but fancied a "bit of ice cream" she was kept in a plentiful supply. Nothing was too much trouble. I also felt looked after at this very difficult time. I was offered food and drink, and always asked if there was anything I needed. If a time comes when I need to be looked after in a care home, I only hope that Fountains Lodge still exist, as good as it is now.

Mum has been at Wilmington a year now. She has settled down well and is happy. The staff are kind and friendly which has helped Mum to settle. She is well looked after and has made friends with other residents. Saturday was the annual garden party which was well organised by staff and carers. The kitchen supplied a lovely afternoon tea. Many families of residents came and it was enjoyed by everyone. The staff worked hard to make it a success.
