Lovely to see resident dancing on their fun day. Having ice cream from the van. Staff dressed up with masks, etc, taking photos and encouraging residents to sing along. Excellent afternoon. Well done.

What has impressed my family and me is the care with which my wife has been looked after. She is happy and contented and as a result a result interacts well with the staff and other residents. When my wife had issues over eating, the staff persisted with all sorts of different foods in order to find
ones my wife would accept. As a result, they were able to stabilise her weight. We are grateful for the care my wife is given.

Mum was petrified of going into a care home, unfortunately Mum had no choice in 2023, so we chose Bupa's Warren Lodge Care Home & I'm glad we did!
It's very well managed & all staff are brilliant & genuinely care for their residents.
We could visit Mum whenever we wanted or needed to 24/7 & the staff
were always on hand if we needed anything.
Mum passed recently & everyone was in tears & the support we've received is excellent.
The staff do their very best to accommodate everyone & any requests or help is always a priority.
We would highly recommend Bupa Warren Lodge to anyone, they are like an extended part of our Family.
Thank you ever so much to everyone from Warren Lodge, love from us.

My Mother went into respite at Broad Oak Manor in July for two weeks. Unfortunately she now needs carers around her, she is 99 in November. She now wishes to remain there for the remainder of her life, she now seems like a different person, so happy. Every single member of staff are so nice, very helpful,
so caring and truly very professional. It is a great relief to know she is in such good hands, and all of my family very much hope she's able to stay there now.

The care and support at this home is outstanding, they go above and beyond for all residents.
They do all sorts of activities with them including taking them out to local garden centres to buy plants to have them in planted in the garden so residents can watch them grow.
They also help keep their
mobility going with fun exercises

My Mum came to stay at Eglantine in April and so far seems to have thrived. I feel that it is the staff that makes the difference here - they are all amazing. When we visit we are made to feel welcome and when family travel from further afield they are offered lunch and refreshments too which is really
great. My Mum has her issues with the food but I can't really see what the problem is (and she always seems to eat it).

The gardens are beautiful and are kept immaculate, the residents all have the opportunity to sit outside when the weather permits. Mum particularly enjoys watching the squirrels and birds. The activities and entertainment is fantastic - there always seems to be something going on and all of the residents are encouraged to join in.

We didn't have any experience with nursing homes and visited a few before choosing Eglantine but I really feel that my Mum is in the best place and is receiving the very best care.

Home/staff very friendly and welcoming. Some health issues with my husband after arriving, but promptly dealt with and necessary action/treatment resolved.
Care home manager very approachable, helpful and easy to talk to, as are all the staff.
Very difficult for my husband to deal with this change

I am very pleased with the care home and its staff.
My mum is a resident and due to her dementia and the way she treats me, none of the family visits, but we know and can see that mum is well looked after and enjoying her life there.
She was 99years old in May and they held a wonderful Pink Birthday

Whilst I appreciate that the home has a duty of care it can be a bit of a restriction as I am quite mobile. It took some time to adjust from living in a home alone. My mum-in-law arrived at Fountains Lodge in February 2024 after a very stressful few weeks in hospital only to be told she sadly didn't have long we were lucky enough for a room becoming available and close to family too. The care home itself is lovely, it's bright, plenty of space, the rooms are decorated
nicely and it was clean. We settled my mum-in-law in and staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful and kind too as obviously it was stressful for everyone. Well 15 months on and we have sadly just lost my mum-in-law so that time originally given went on far longer than was expected and Fountains lodge became my second home, as visited most days. The staff have been outstanding, not only looking after their resident but us as a family too and right up to the very end their kindness and support has meant a great deal. They have kept us informed right from the start and provided outstanding care from the nurses, carers, catering staff, activity staff to office / reception
