My wife is in day care, and having experience of the Warren. The care and attention provided at Warren Lodge taken worry off of my shoulders. The staff are caring, kind and I feel Lorraine receives the stimulation she needs at all times. I know that if she eventually needs full time care, Warren Lodge
is where I want her to be. I cannot say anything other than excellent for all aswell.

My wife has now been a resident at Warren Lodge for 4 monthis. The Staff not only look after my wife very well but also have helped myself adjust to being alone at home after 54 years. My wife has settled in so much better than I thought she would, she is treated by the staff in a friendly, with dignity
way. My wife is now putting on weight after months of losing weight at home and she is really enjoying her food again.

My wife has been a resident at Warren Lodge since March 2024 and transferred from one of the more modern homes, which looked more like a boutique hotel with a dementia care facility within a generalist care home. Whilst I was initially unsure we had made the right decision to move her, I soon realised
it was not so much about the building and services, but about the care the resident receives. Overall my wife receives a good standard of care, there are some that just do the job, but the majority do go the extra mile in looking after the residents. The fact it is a specialist dementia care home is also a plus. She is looked after very well and a special mention goes to the ladies in the activity team who do spoil her with pampering (hair and nails etc). She also gets her hair cut and coloured by the homes hairdresser regularly which makes her feel better. The food is of a good standard and I often samply it myself. I feel confident that my wife is in good hands when I'm not around.

Since my mum arrived at the care home, she appears much more settled and happy.
I think this is due to a good routing and caring staff.
Mum enjoys all the activites and day trips out.
It makes me feel happy that she's being looked after well.

Warren Lodge has been lifesaver to us. Mum attends day care at Warren Lodge. The staff have really helped her settle in and are always so friendly and welcoming. They make mum smile everyday and are so reassuring to me, also they have given me hope that mum can still enjoy her life with vascular dementia,
no matter how much the condition progresses. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the care entertainment, and activities provided enables mum to have fun and interact with others while being safe and treated as a real person. Warren Lodge have made our journey brighter, happier and manageable. Thank you.

What has impressed my family and me is the care with which my wife has been looked after. She is happy and contented and as a result a result interacts well with the staff and other residents. When my wife had issues over eating, the staff persisted with all sorts of different foods in order to find
ones my wife would accept. As a result, they were able to stabilise her weight. We are grateful for the care my wife is given.

Mum was petrified of going into a care home, unfortunately Mum had no choice in 2023, so we chose Bupa's Warren Lodge Care Home & I'm glad we did!
It's very well managed & all staff are brilliant & genuinely care for their residents.
We could visit Mum whenever we wanted or needed to 24/7 & the staff
were always on hand if we needed anything.
Mum passed recently & everyone was in tears & the support we've received is excellent.
The staff do their very best to accommodate everyone & any requests or help is always a priority.
We would highly recommend Bupa Warren Lodge to anyone, they are like an extended part of our Family.
Thank you ever so much to everyone from Warren Lodge, love from us.

I cannot rate the staff who work here enough. They are all so kind, caring and respectful. They always take time to talk to my mum and ensure she has everything she needs and that goes for relatives too.
The home is kept really clean and smells nice.
For me it's the small touches like putting on
her makeup, spraying a little perfume on her pyjamas, presenting her pureed food so beautifully, holding her hand - nothing is too much.
Its a very difficult and emotional time placing a relative in a home but I can honestly say, I wholeheartedly recommend Warren Lodge

This is my third experience of my loved ones' time in a care home. One thing I absolutely love, every month a resident is resident of the day, the staff calls and lets you know how your loved one is doing, such a lovely thing to do. I vary the days of my visits but it is always the same, excellent,
in my opinion, five words describe this care home 'it's simply the best' and I feel that all care homes should be like this, but believe me they are not. I have entrusted my loved ones in their care, they do not disappoint.

On the whole very good, Mum has been accommodated and has been quite content with her stay. Her level of capacity I feel is somewhat higher than most residents so gainful companionship and communication is somewhat limited. Mum celebrated her 90th birthday in October. Warren Lodge supplied a fantastic
party buffet and it was attended by family and friends so a massive thank you to the management and staff.

My mother had gone from the independence and security of her own house of over 50 years into the very new environment of a care home setting, which is a very overwhelming situation for everyone in that position, I am sure. However, all the team including managers, the reception staff, the care staff
and all the nurses have turned somewhere new and alien to Mum into her home! Kindness and inclusion happen every day and the residents' emotional and mental health are always considered in a well-run and thoroughly hygienic environment. When Mum first arrived, she was obviously nervous in her new room and staff implemented measures immediately that very soon made my mum feel at home and she is now settled into a comforting routine. All the staff make time to chat to Mum and make her feel relevant every single day. My whole family cannot ever really thank staff enough for that, but I just wanted to tell you how grateful we all are and that we do know how well Mum is being looked after.

My initial reaction on first coming to Warren Lodge was really good with a clean and friendly home and staff. We have had a few communication issues regarding food, physio etc. But I believe we have now clarified these issues and are moving forward, as it seems my wife is settling into Warren Lodge
now.
Staff are extremely friendly, extremely helpful and seem to enjoy their jobs.
Providing communication issues mentioned above are resolved, I can only see plusses going forward.

I'm so happy with the way that Nan is looked after, they keep her lovely and clean and the room is kept very tidy. They have time to sit and talk to her and keep us updated with her care and meds. We treat it like her home which means we can have tea and cake with her which she loves. The food is all
homemade and looks very tasty. Oh, and the dog is made very welcome too!

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.643)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.643) out of 10 for Warren Lodge Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 16 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.743 for Warren Lodge Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (148 Excellents x 5) + (37 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 191 Ratings = 4.743
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.9 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Warren Lodge Care Home is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 64 registered maximum number of service users is 12.8, which has been reached with 16 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I love the fact that no two days are the same. I enjoy seeing how the care we provide makes a difference in our residents' quality of life. I’m passionate about elderly and dementia care, quality improvement and the provision of compassionate person-centred care to all our residents. I’m also passionate about motivating team members for career progression, team member well-being and clinical education and improvement.

I’m a family-oriented person, I love travelling and meeting new people. I have recently relocated from London to Kent and I’m loving it.
