The care that mum is now receiving at Warren Lodge is five-star! All the staff I have met who are looking after my mum have been caring, compassionate, kind and professional. I receive regular updates by phone and email. My questions are answered in an open and honest manner. I particularly like the
resident of the day! I am so glad mum is living in Warren Lodge. While the prognosis is very poor, the team are focusing on mum's comfort and treating her with dignity. This includes hoisting her to a wheelchair, wrapping her up and taking her outside on a sunny day. Thank you.

I do not expect to visit my husband late morning and have to clean his teeth/dentures and apply fixodent as they are falling out. He wears his day clothes to bed at night as there is no night routine with him being reminded/assisted to get ready for bed in pygamas. Since entering the home in May
2025 he has only worn pygamas once. I have made a complaint to the assistant manager however nothing changes. My husband is not encouraged to move around or walk round the garden enough. I asked the manager for a complaints leaflet was told they don't have any. The manager didn't even ask what the problem was.

My mother passed away at the Lodge in January this year. She died of Dementia, frailty and old age. I cannot praise the staff at this place highly enough. I visited many times since my Mum's arrival in May '25 and was always made to feel welcome. They always asked how I was and gave excellent and
consistent care to my Mother always. I would feed her on occasion but I never HAD to and they would ask politely if I could give them some space to change her etc when it was necessary. Really super staff and clearly led brilliantly by Angela and the senior staff and nurses Stella, Wayne and Cynthia amongst others. I even felt at home there and I know Mum had the best care that she could possibly have had. I'd looked after Mum at home after my Dad passed 2 years previously and then it got too much for me (and it was unsafe for me to continue at home because she eventually refused to be washed by me and follow instructions by me to keep her safe) and Angela happily agreed to have her there.

My wife is in day care, and having experience of the Warren. The care and attention provided at Warren Lodge taken worry off of my shoulders. The staff are caring, kind and I feel Lorraine receives the stimulation she needs at all times. I know that if she eventually needs full time care, Warren
Lodge is where I want her to be. I cannot say anything other than excellent for all aswell.

My wife has now been a resident at Warren Lodge for 4 monthis. The Staff not only look after my wife very well but also have helped myself adjust to being alone at home after 54 years. My wife has settled in so much better than I thought she would, she is treated by the staff in a friendly, with
dignity way. My wife is now putting on weight after months of losing weight at home and she is really enjoying her food again.

My wife has been a resident at Warren Lodge since March 2024 and transferred from one of the more modern homes, which looked more like a boutique hotel with a dementia care facility within a generalist care home. Whilst I was initially unsure we had made the right decision to move her, I soon
realised it was not so much about the building and services, but about the care the resident receives. Overall my wife receives a good standard of care, there are some that just do the job, but the majority do go the extra mile in looking after the residents. The fact it is a specialist dementia care home is also a plus. She is looked after very well and a special mention goes to the ladies in the activity team who do spoil her with pampering (hair and nails etc). She also gets her hair cut and coloured by the homes hairdresser regularly which makes her feel better. The food is of a good standard and I often samply it myself. I feel confident that my wife is in good hands when I'm not around.

Since my mum arrived at the care home, she appears much more settled and happy.
I think this is due to a good routing and caring staff.
Mum enjoys all the activites and day trips out.
It makes me feel happy that she's being looked after well.

Warren Lodge has been lifesaver to us. Mum attends day care at Warren Lodge. The staff have really helped her settle in and are always so friendly and welcoming. They make mum smile everyday and are so reassuring to me, also they have given me hope that mum can still enjoy her life with vascular
dementia, no matter how much the condition progresses. Nothing is ever too much trouble, the care entertainment, and activities provided enables mum to have fun and interact with others while being safe and treated as a real person. Warren Lodge have made our journey brighter, happier and manageable. Thank you.

Mum has been at Warren Lodge for a few years now, and as she declines, the staff there lovingly support her as she ages in place. My family find all the staff very attentive and caring, we are very satisfied with Warren Lodge.

What has impressed my family and me is the care with which my wife has been looked after. She is happy and contented and as a result a result interacts well with the staff and other residents. When my wife had issues over eating, the staff persisted with all sorts of different foods in order to find
ones my wife would accept. As a result, they were able to stabilise her weight. We are grateful for the care my wife is given.

My Dad was at Warren Lodge for a respite, can't fault the care he received. From activity, to the food and the pleasant ladies at the reception. I will recommend this home to anyone who needs a place for their family.

Mum was petrified of going into a care home, unfortunately Mum had no choice in 2023, so we chose Bupa's Warren Lodge Care Home & I'm glad we did!
It's very well managed & all staff are brilliant & genuinely care for their residents.
We could visit Mum whenever we wanted or needed to 24/7 & the
staff were always on hand if we needed anything.
Mum passed recently & everyone was in tears & the support we've received is excellent.
The staff do their very best to accommodate everyone & any requests or help is always a priority.
We would highly recommend Bupa Warren Lodge to anyone, they are like an extended part of our Family.
Thank you ever so much to everyone from Warren Lodge, love from us.

I cannot rate the staff who work here enough. They are all so kind, caring and respectful. They always take time to talk to my mum and ensure she has everything she needs and that goes for relatives too.
The home is kept really clean and smells nice.
For me it's the small touches like putting
on her makeup, spraying a little perfume on her pyjamas, presenting her pureed food so beautifully, holding her hand - nothing is too much.
Its a very difficult and emotional time placing a relative in a home but I can honestly say, I wholeheartedly recommend Warren Lodge

This is my third experience of my loved ones' time in a care home. One thing I absolutely love, every month a resident is resident of the day, the staff calls and lets you know how your loved one is doing, such a lovely thing to do. I vary the days of my visits but it is always the same, excellent,
in my opinion, five words describe this care home 'it's simply the best' and I feel that all care homes should be like this, but believe me they are not. I have entrusted my loved ones in their care, they do not disappoint.
28 January 2025
I must praise the staff who are all exceptional. Extremely satisfied with their care and treatment.
08 January 2025
On the whole very good, Mum has been accommodated and has been quite content with her stay. Her level of capacity I feel is somewhat higher than most residents so gainful companionship and communication is somewhat limited. Mum celebrated her 90th birthday in October. Warren Lodge supplied a
fantastic party buffet and it was attended by family and friends so a massive thank you to the management and staff.
03 April 2024
My mother had gone from the independence and security of her own house of over 50 years into the very new environment of a care home setting, which is a very overwhelming situation for everyone in that position, I am sure. However, all the team including managers, the reception staff, the care staff
and all the nurses have turned somewhere new and alien to Mum into her home! Kindness and inclusion happen every day and the residents' emotional and mental health are always considered in a well-run and thoroughly hygienic environment. When Mum first arrived, she was obviously nervous in her new room and staff implemented measures immediately that very soon made my mum feel at home and she is now settled into a comforting routine. All the staff make time to chat to Mum and make her feel relevant every single day. My whole family cannot ever really thank staff enough for that, but I just wanted to tell you how grateful we all are and that we do know how well Mum is being looked after.
