Care Homes Owned by Bupa Care Homes in Essex

My sister has been here for approximately a month and the care she has received has been excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful when I have visited her and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I could not wish for better care for my sister.

2nd review now that my wife has been a resident for about a month. Am pleased to confirm that my initial thoughts about this care home have proven to be accurate in that it certainly matches its classification as a care home. All of the staff (both caring and supporting roles) met to date (and I think ive met the vast majority if not all of them) are without exception friendly, helpful, efficient and wrt the nurses and carers caring which is really important in a care home. In essence if they can possibly help or resolve an issue they will do their very best to do so.

I am a much more confident person since moving here the support and care from the staff is excellent

My brother has been in Hutton Village Care Home - September 2025. He is extremely happy there, he is well looked after there. The staff are very caring and he interacts with the staff. The Home is always kept clean to a high standard. The food is excellent and the dining rooms are set up like a first class restaurant. Regular afternoon activities or visits out in the mini bus. We could not wish for a better care home for my brother.

Very warm + friendly staff at HVCH. My relative enjoys the activities and has recently been out on the weekly outings. The food is good and is varied, with lots of options. There is a very nice vibe to HVCH, which is a credit to the staff. The grounds are well maintained and spacious and it is lovely to spend time outside, weather permitting

My mother has improved in so many ways since moving to Croft House a few months ago. The staff are very kind and extremely well trained. The nurses aren't afraid to tackle any difficulties appropriately and this results in much better outcomes for the residents in their care. The food is made from scratch, varied and really good quality. The restaurant style service a lunch time is something that my Mum really enjoys. It's wonderful to see her improving so much and an enormous relief not to be constantly worried about her care. Thanks to everyone.

As her son who deals with finances and administration of mums care, I find Bupa Hatfield Peverel very easy to deal with and efficient in dealing with any issues.

Our experience at Bupa HP exceeds our experience at other homes that mum has stayed in.

I have nothing but good to say about Mumford House. The love, care and respect each and every one of the staff show my Mum is just wonderful. We are truly grateful to them all.

The team at The Lawns looked after my Dad while he recovered from an injury to his leg during May and June. What was meant to be a two week stay was extended to over 7 weeks. The whole team were amazing. So kind, helpful and caring. First class care backed up with kindness and compassion. I honestly couldn't have wished for a better place for his rehabilitation before heading back home. Thank you so much.

Professional care given by the staff is very good. The facilities and entertainment are very pleasing. I would recommend this place for everyone who is looking for care. Especially nursing care. My wife has been in Colonia Court for more than 24 months now.

I have found the staff in all departments to be helpful and friendly with a very caring attitude.

The staff are wonderful because they really do care and are a stable team. Mum has developed a good relationship with them all and enjoys the banter and interest they take in her. I enjoy visiting and am made to feel welcome . I am always impressed by the frequency and creativity of the activities which mum can choose to join in. The option to see photos of Mum during activities is really welcome , especially if you are not in a position to visit as much as you would like. Not everything runs perfectly all the time but that reflects life. The motivation and the care is there and that's what's important. Whilst I praise the staff credit should also go to the management and teams behind the scenes too

Myself and my sisters are extremely happy with Mum's care at Blomfield House Colonia Court. The manager Elenor is very approachable and all the staff are very caring.

I experienced many obstacles and complications with a previous care home my Dad was staying in, The manger and team from The Lawns were very supportive and helpful in the situation I was facing. With the help and support from the team particularly the Manager eventually managed to get my Dad to The Lawns, my dad instantly became relaxed and, happier and more importantly 'Cared For'!
