Cottingley Hall Care Home

Service in all areas was good to excellent. It is imperative that users realise the pressures from governmental policies, diversity of employees, difference in pay rates create huge challenges for management in drawing up rotas, trying to create teams. Until a person stays in a care home nobody can
understand the constraints placed on the management. A strength at Cottingley Hall is that many staff live locally. Integration is good within teams although balancing backgrounds and skills is a difficult task. More detailed guidance re helping respite patients would enhance the experience.

I spent 3 weeks in rehab care in your home. It was daunting since I'd always been independent until my hip operation. I was greeted by a family atmosphere and welcomed. Over the period of a few days, I blended into the rest of the residents. Taking part in the various activities available. I was impressed
by the care and devotion of the staff; the entertainers inject a lively atmosphere for all patients. I left with a broader outlook on care homes. Hopefully, I will remain healthy, but good to know such places exist.

My mother-in-law has advanced dementia and has been a resident at Crossley House for over two years. We moved her there from another home which was unsatisfactory, and right from day one we were hugely impressed by the care given to her and the support given to us. Staff are always friendly and welcoming
and eager to help. My mother-in-law has complex needs but they are always patient and kind. The programme of activities for residents is excellent, and since we live at a distance we very much appreciate the regular photos and updates on Facebook. This is a home where everyone is working hard as a team to meet the highest standards. It's very comforting to us to know that my mother-in-law is so well looked after.

I found Sunnyview after mum's usual respite place was full. The staff there have been superb. From my first phone call with the lovely receptionist who showed me around (I can't remember her name) Sue who deals with finance was very friendly and answered all my questions as was David who came out to
assess mum.

She was in for two weeks and I had no issues am hoping I can get her back in for Christmas

Cleveland House is so friendly, welcoming, comforting to know my elderly relative is safe and cared for. Meets individual needs. Just feels expensive when self funding, has to pay extra for an escort to hospital when already paying a lot of money. Food freshly made, looks really good nutritional food.
Reassuring that is Godmother is putting weight on. The home is very clean and never smells!

Lindley Grange is an absolute brilliant nursing home, my Grandma hasn't been there long but we are all very impressed with the home, caring, friendly and helpful staff, and the effort made in keeping the residents engaged and entertained.
My Gran has been enjoying her day trips out and little jobs given,
although she is suffering from dementia she is settled, eating alot better than her previous home and joining in alot more to everyday activities.
Would highly recommend this home, keep up the good work, its much appreciated.

I enjoyed the visit to the local nursery where we did some crafts with the children and singing happy birthday to my friend. I'm looking forward to the children coming here this week.
We've also been doing activities themed around a cruise, 'visiting' different countries. That's been great fun. I
