This is a 5 star carehome!
The building is to an excellent standard, inside each room is too, residents have different rooms to go to and space to themselves or to be with others.
The places they take residents out is always good and to their needs. The activities held are planned very well and bring
enjoyment to residents and also invite family and friends along too and some of the special ones.
The safety, care, hygiene and over all running of the home is a 5 out of 5 standard which is excellent.
My family member is cared for over and above by the staff and we couldn't ask for more.
Thank you!

Dad went into Crossley on an assessment visit after 2 weeks respite. We were welcomed with friendly, caring people. We were reassured immediately that he would be very happy there. Over the period dad was in there he was very happy, loved the staff, enjoyed most meals especially the porridge. He enjoyed
activities such as bingo, quizzes, singers, events, parties i could go on. We were always welcome on any and every visit. You could tell the staff genuinely liked and cared for him dearly. There was always someone to ask about any changes etc. They all definitely knew about his care. We can honestly say I feel that the staff although professional became our friends through the time Dad spent there. Even at the end they were respectful of dad's and the family's wishes. Ensuring he was well cared for and yes I think I can say it 'loved".

Thankyou to all the staff involved in dad's care we will really miss our visits to Crossley House.

Mum started at feel unwell on 22nd December 25. The care staff identified this and called 111. The paramedics took mum into hospital with flu. The staff at Wykebeck made sure mum had everything she needed. This was a big help for me. The staff phoned to ask how mum was doing whilst she was in hospital.
After a 2 week hospital stay mum was discharged. When the discharge nurse rang Wykebeck she was very impressed that Wykebeck didn't have a cut off time for coming back. The carer in charge said this is Betty's home and she can come home. Amazing

My relative has now spent over 3 years in care homes and this includes the last 7 months in Lindley Grange. She has received much better care at Lindley than the previous care home. Lindley is a happy place with a great staff team and management. The goodwill & care is palpable. I have yet to see a
member of staff who does not have that special empathy which I would say is a calling or vocation - this I think is down to good management. I would strongly recommend Lindley Care Home to all who may be interested.

My mum has been living in Elmwood since Nov 2018 and my father from Aug 22 until October 25 when he passed away. During this time my parents' care has been exceptional. My mum receives excellent nursing care 24/7 and since my dad's passing she has also received excellent emotional support. Nursing staff,
care staff and management all work together to give the best possible care in all areas. The rooms are clean tidy & well maintained. There are constant activities taking place for residents to join in and a very sociable atmosphere in the main lounge. During the summer months there is a lovely garden area to sit in and activities take place outside. I visit on a daily basis, know all of the staff and management by first names and am always given a very warm welcome. My mum is always clean and well cared for and her room and possessions are always in good order. I cannot praise this care home and all of the staff enough. They give me constant peace of mind for my mother's wellbeing

We visited mum yesterday. We showed her photos of all the activities she has been involved in which are posted on social media.
It is lovely to see the photos and really helps us to engage her in conversation.
When we saw the picture of her stroking the little pony which visited the home she said,
"Oh yes, they always organise such interesting things for us!"
Mum is very happy. She loves all the exercise classes. And the staff are really caring and kind.
