Aunty has settled into the home nicely after being there almost a year. She is well cared for and enjoys the activities. The carers / nurses are always available to help and assist with any needs. All staff are very helpful and caring. I feel happy that she's in the best place for her and I don't have
to worry about her being on her own at home.

The breakfasts are superb. The other meals are okay depending on what you are given. my room is beautiful.
Staff are attentive and pleasant. I haven't come across anyone I don't like. rooms are kept very clean.
They attend to me whenever I need them. e.g. applying creams.
I have meaningful and
engaging conversations with the activity coordinators.

My mum has recently moved care homes into Lindley Grange. The staff have all been so welcoming and friendly! She was so overwhelmed on how nice and bright it was, saying "it's all so wonderful, I love it here." She's settled in so well which has made us feel much happier that she is settled and happy
now!
They have lots of activities going on throughout the week to keep them engaged and stimulated. The food is lovely and presented well with lots of choices too.
Reply from Natasha Burns-Leigh, Customer Service Advisor at Lindley Grange Care HomeWe appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. We are pleased to hear that the staff did everything possible to make the transition as easy as could be and that your mother has settled in comfortably with us. My mum went into care in January 2026 after previously being in another home which we found unsatisfactory. Since then she is a different person at Crossley House. The care is fabulous, the carers are friendly and willing to assist with anything. The food is excellent, with a great variety. The room
is cleaned regularly and kept very tidy. Great activities to participate in if you want to.

Overall mum's experience of living at Sunnyview is a positive one. The care does depend a lot on which staff members are on but generally good. The main concern is the food- sometimes is appealing and tasty other times cold and very bland! Need to hold regular relative/management meetings.

We moved Mum into Crossley House early January 2026 from another care facility that wasn't meeting her needs.
Mum is in her 90's, has a degree of dementia and is virtually blind due to age related macular.
To say that there has been a transformation in only 6 weeks, is a bit of an understatement.
Mum now enjoys the privacy and comfort of her own room (when she wants it) and is eating well again after a spell of significant weight loss. The food is very good and Mum is enjoying it.
Sometimes Mum realises she is no longer living in her own home and Crossley House have let us deck out her room with many of her personal and favourite things
Most importantly Mum tells us that the carers are kind and patient and that is exactly how we've found them when visiting. We have regular chats with Julie Allen the Manager and found her to be very competent, friendly and supportive
The family is happy that Mum is now in good hands and as content as she can be. She's settled nicely and we worry less

When selecting a care home for dad, we researched and visited Lindley Grange, as you can imagine it was an upsetting experience for us all, but the carers have made the transition a less stressful one and dad seems to have settled in quicker than expected. There is a homelike atmosphere and the environment
is clean and well maintained, we are kept up to date with dads activities / progress by Becky (who is amazing) and all the Carer's from what we've seen treat the residents with the up most respect and dignity. Thank you Lindley Grange

This is a 5 star carehome!
The building is to an excellent standard, inside each room is too, residents have different rooms to go to and space to themselves or to be with others.
The places they take residents out is always good and to their needs. The activities held are planned very well and bring
enjoyment to residents and also invite family and friends along too and some of the special ones.
The safety, care, hygiene and over all running of the home is a 5 out of 5 standard which is excellent.
My family member is cared for over and above by the staff and we couldn't ask for more.
Thank you!

Dad went into Crossley on an assessment visit after 2 weeks respite. We were welcomed with friendly, caring people. We were reassured immediately that he would be very happy there. Over the period dad was in there he was very happy, loved the staff, enjoyed most meals especially the porridge. He enjoyed
activities such as bingo, quizzes, singers, events, parties i could go on. We were always welcome on any and every visit. You could tell the staff genuinely liked and cared for him dearly. There was always someone to ask about any changes etc. They all definitely knew about his care. We can honestly say I feel that the staff although professional became our friends through the time Dad spent there. Even at the end they were respectful of dad's and the family's wishes. Ensuring he was well cared for and yes I think I can say it 'loved".

Thankyou to all the staff involved in dad's care we will really miss our visits to Crossley House.
