Staff at Lindley Grange offer a professional and friendly nursing care service to people living with dementia. Care plans are also provided to people who are looking for convalescence and respite and to those who require palliative care.

This purpose-built home has been carefully designed to provide high quality accommodation and facilities. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a 24 hour call system.

Within walking distance to nearby village Lindley, the home is on the main bus route to Huddersfield, a short 2 minute walk from the home with buses every 10 minutes throughout the day and every 20 mins on a Sunday, making the home easily accessible for visiting friends and family.

Local amenities such as shops, café, opticians and pub are a short walk from the home as well as the local hospital, GP, library and local parks.

The on-site chef works hard to cater for each resident’s dietary needs and provides a hot and cold option at every mealtime. A personalised birthday cake is always made for residents’ birthdays.

The home provides a seven days a week activity programme which includes trips out to the local village, music therapy every fortnight, themed events such as cruise ship and Wimbledon to name a few, flower arranging, armchair exercises and reminiscence activities. There is always something going on at Lindley Grange.

Friends and family are always welcome to join any of the activities.

My mum first went to Cleveland House first, she was not happy there. Then she went to Linley Grange, what a difference. The staff were amazing, they had lots of activities going on, the staff were caring and discreet. .It's such a happy place. So glad that my mum spent her last days there

Have visited the family member several times now and have seen an improvement in his manner and recognised us straight away. We had a laugh and he joined in with the conversation when possible.
The staff on duty at the time were pleasant and joined in the conversation as well. The resident seems happy
enough to be in 'The Grange' and takes part in activities on offer.

This is a fantastic place for any family member that needs care. They can not do enough for my mum. They also take the time to speak with us and make us all feel at ease and welcome. They have activities to involve all residents and there families.

Since our dad has been a resident here we have been so overwhelmed by the care and love he has received. They have gone above and beyond to make sure dad settled in to his new home. There isn't a day goes by when there is some kind of entertainment or activity available if dad wants to participate.
They have taken dad on many trips and this has enriched his life so much. A special shout out has to go to to a specific member of staff who organises all the activities. The thought that goes into everything from meals to personal care and nursing is outstanding! All the staff are friendly, approachable and will always listen to any concerns we've had. Overall we are so happy that dad has found his forever home.

Mum has been a resident for nearly 8 months now and she's been made to feel part of the Lindley Grange family right from the start. As expected she was feeling overwhelmed and apprehensive with such a big change in lifestyle (as were me & my hubby), but management & staff alike pulled together to reassure
her (& us) that all was going to be fine and she'd soon settle in, which she has. Staff are great with mum, always lots of smiles & kisses for her. Lovely patient nursing staff always on hand to answer any questions. Nice & clean, laundry done daily & hung back in wardrobe, regular baths/hairwash. Lovely home cooked meals n lush desserts.
Mum joins in with a wide variety of fun & interesting daily activities. Singer's, panto, choirs, nursery children, therapy dog, small animals/creature's come in to entertain the residents.
Day trips in the shared minibus (mum's going in it to 'The Deep' next week) all organised by a fantastic activity coordinator/team who I can't praise high enough.

I was initially apprehensive and filled with doubt about the decision to move my dad into a care home, it's not something you take lightly. But Lindley Grange made the process much easier than I ever expected. The staff were excellent at settling my dad in, and the level of care and attention he's received
since has been outstanding. He's genuinely thrived at the home. The team are always on hand to provide the support he needs, and it's clear they really care about the residents. I'm very grateful for the peace of mind they've given us.

Our experience at Lindley Grange care home has, so far, been extremely positive. The staff are highly experienced and professional, and very friendly and welcoming. The residents are well cared for and there is always a member of staff available to answer any queries or concerns. The food is excellent
with lots of variety. The same applies to all the activities available for the residents to enjoy. The cleanliness of the home is very impressive, there is always a fresh clean smell. All in all, we are more than happy with the care my sister receives and have no complaints whatsoever.

Our sincere thanks for the authentic kindness and generosity of care Lindley Grange provided for our Dad, husband and Granddad. Such genuine kindness, understanding and compassion, and a strong willingness to do what's best for our Dad has meant that we were always confident that he was being given
the best care, even in a heartbreaking situation.

I visit a friend that lives at lindley grange and I have had such a positive experience at every visit, all staff are friendly and very helpful. All residants look very well looked after and the activity coordinator gets all the residants involved in activities which is very nice to see.

Afternoon visit, the residents loved the band who were playing. Some of the residents were singing and dancing with staff.

Mum was moved to Lindley Grange a couple of years ago, and the care and love she's been shown since she arrived by all the staff is amazing. The activities she receives are top notch and she thoroughly enjoys them. She's always happy, smiling and singing!

Since moving to Lindley Grange Mum has looked happier than she has for a long time. She has settled in very quickly and has a good rapport with the staff. She's well looked after and occupied every day with all the wonderful activities on offer to her. I don't feel I need to worry about her at all now.

My Mother has been at Lindley Grange Care Home since the middle of last year, and the care she has received has been fantastic, she is in a much better physically and mentally than when she arrived. There is a great team of staff who genuinely appear to want to do their best for the residents. There
is a huge range of well-thought-out activities laid on with something different most days. The menu is varied, and staff always ensure that there is something that mum will eat - not an easy task. Whenever I visit, the whole place is spotless everything is well organised, and dogs are welcome. It really is better than I ever imagined a care home could be.

I like that the staff are all very friendly and enjoy the dinner (when I'm hungry). Love to join in with the daily activities and visit the little ones at the local nursery. I like it when the singing people visit, and I can sing along with them.

My husband has only been at Lindley Grange for 3 weeks. Having Alzheimer's for 2 years but recently having suffered a stroke needing a long hospital stay, his needs have increased greatly. I was anxious but without cause as all the staff are patient and kind and get to know each individual resident.
They are there for our whole family and welcome us with a smile and a drink as soon as we visit. My husband's nursing needs and nutrition issues have been met with care and attention and they have gone the extra mile to help in every way. His clothes are changed regularly and the laundry service is excellent.

The care that my father has received since moving to live at Lindley Grange has been of the highest standard. The staff are all friendly and helpful and genuinely care for the wellbeing not only for the residents, but for the families of the residents as well. All our concerns and questions have been
addressed above and beyond expectation and I am very happy that Dad is living in such a caring environment where his complex needs are understood and treated in such a supportive and positive way.

From the first initial meeting with the manager for the assessment of Mum the care has been amazing. Mum initially didn't want to go in a home but Lindley Grange has changed her mind. She loves it, she is well looked after, clean and smart. They treat her with respect and dignity. My mum has a wicked
sense of humour and she is always laughing and joking with the staff. The communication between the home and family is great we are kept informed.

I started in 2009 as a care assistant, and in 2016 I was offered the opportunity to become the activities coordinator - I jumped at the chance as I love the interaction with the residents. Lindley Grange is my second family and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.
I was nominated and won Bupa’s Every Day Hero award in 2017 which was a fantastic achievement.

I began my career as a care assistant, and in 2018 I was offered the opportunity to be a Hostess - I progressed my role further to become a nutrition and hydration adviser. I work very closely with outside agencies such as SALT and the dietitian to make sure that our residents have the best possible care.
