Absolutely amazing caring and friendly staff, five-star treatment and care to the residents too, always interacting with them and the activities are amazing. My friend seems so happy there and that's the most important for her and us. Thank you so much for everything you all do to make the residents happy, she deserves the best, she was always such a character and I still see this in her now.

Over the past 5 years the highest standards of care and compassion have been experienced by my relative in this nursing home. Sensitivity is shown towards all residents, whose needs are individualised so that suitable activities (involving lots of variety, humour and fun) can engage each and every one. From leader/manager to cleaning and maintenance staff, there is effective teamwork and friendly rapport to ensure safety, sense of community, good nutritious food, care/nursing care where needed and insightful, sympathetic companionship - such qualities consistently support the 'Lindley Grange family'. Surroundings are cheerful and comfortable. Lindley Grange staff always go the extra mile; their patience and ability to 'find a way' whatever arises is outstanding. Relatives are made welcome; staff are always honest, open and tactful. A heartfelt thanks to you all!

My mother-in-law (widowed 28 years ago) moved to Lindley Grange a year ago after her deteriorating dementia meant she required more care than home carers who had looked after her for 4 years could manage. We moved her here as my mum had enjoyed it here a few years ago. We live 3 hours away and are not able to visit very often (because of other family health problems). I love to see all the exciting activities on the social media page that they arrange here. My mother-in-law certainly never stroked a Llama before she came here! She was never any good at baking so that activity is out! She is definitely getting good care here - always in clean clothes - and having a very enjoyable social life that she no longer had at home.

Our mum has been at Lindley Grange for a year now. As soon as she moved in, she appeared a lot happier, so we knew we'd made the right choice. The staff are amazing as are the many varied activities they put together. You can see from the photos how everyone enjoys themselves. We don't live nearby, so having the daily online content is fantastic.

Thank you, Lindley Grange; you're all brilliant.

My friend has been a resident for about 3 years, and the care she receives daily is heartwarming. She is content, happy and although not able to physically partake in many activities they always try to get her involved in some way. You only need to look at the daily posts online to see how happy and content all the residents are. They are kept physically and mentally active and are involved in helping with little tasks around the home. The care team right across the board from management to domestic are amazing. Lots of varied themed days and entertainment, and one-to-one treats. A truly brilliant place to know loved ones are treated with the utmost care and respect in a clean safe and loving environment!

Lindley Care Home has been brilliant for my dad. The staff there are always friendly and polite in what I’m sure is a very challenging job. The activities the care home put on and regularly share on social media always help me feel at ease with my dad's journey with what is such a horrible disease. Most recently the activities coordinator has gone above and beyond by writing to Arsenal football club and getting the most wonderful response and signed letter that myself and Dad will treasure forever. Thank you so much.

Mum only moved into Lindley Grange on Wednesday 17th January 2024, but from the start, the team have been amazing. She has moved from an amazing home as she now needs nursing care, so we were obviously nervous about moving her to the unknown. However, from our first look around, the team have been amazing.
Mum has quite advanced dementia, and getting her in the car to start with to move her was tricky enough, let alone getting her out at the other end. The team, however, were amazing and had all the time and more than was needed to help encourage her out of the car. It took 45 minutes, and even the handyman was involved, but in the end, we managed it, and now it is like she has always lived there.

When I visited today, the team were on hand to support all the residents; there was always someone present and available should they be needed to acknowledge every resident, even if they couldn’t understand what they were saying, they still took the time to be with them, to reassure them etc.

My grandad has been living at Lindley Grange for around six months now. I've been so impressed with the efforts of the Lindley Grange staff team to put a smile on his face - particularly three members of staff in particular. One of those members of staff has arranged one-to-one time with my grandad e.g. lunch dates, as he is now very anxious about leaving his bedroom to join in activities in the dining room. I also can't thank the team enough for their sensitivity and compassion with myself and my mum on occasions where visits have been difficult and emotional - they always take time to check in and to listen.

As with all care homes, the main room for improvement, in my opinion, lies with training agency staff and making sure that they are reading my grandad's care plan, aware of his challenges, and also going that extra mile (e.g. even a brief chat or giggle with my grandad as they bring him his lunch). I'm aware, however, that needing to recruit agency staff is a wider issue, impacted by funding and staffing.

My wife has dementia and needs 24-hour care. Within a few days of entering Lindley Grange Care Home I was convinced that my wife would receive the level of care vital to her recovery from a four week stay in hospital.
The staff have been both supportive and understanding of my wife's current issues.
The management made the transfer to Lindley Grange swift and pain-free.

I would certainly recommend Lindley Grange to dementia sufferers needing a high level of care.
