Staff at Lindley Grange offer a professional and friendly nursing care service to people living with dementia. Care plans are also provided to people who are looking for convalescence and respite and to those who require palliative care.

This purpose-built home has been carefully designed to provide high quality accommodation and facilities. All bedrooms are ensuite and have a 24 hour call system.

Within walking distance to nearby village Lindley, the home is on the main bus route to Huddersfield, a short 2 minute walk from the home with buses every 10 minutes throughout the day and every 20 mins on a Sunday, making the home easily accessible for visiting friends and family.

Local amenities such as shops, café, opticians and pub are a short walk from the home as well as the local hospital, GP, library and local parks.

The on-site chef works hard to cater for each resident’s dietary needs and provides a hot and cold option at every mealtime. A personalised birthday cake is always made for residents’ birthdays.

The home provides a seven days a week activity programme which includes trips out to the local village, music therapy every fortnight, themed events such as cruise ship and Wimbledon to name a few, flower arranging, armchair exercises and reminiscence activities. There is always something going on at Lindley Grange.

Friends and family are always welcome to join any of the activities.

  • There is no specific visiting times here at Lindley Grange, relatives/friends can come and visit when they like. Relatives like to come and join the residents at meal times to help their loved ones with their meals. There are no restrictions when it comes to visiting.

My wife has dementia and needs 24-hour care. Within a few days of entering Lindley Grange Care Home I was convinced that my wife would receive the level of care vital to her recovery from a four week stay in hospital.
The staff have been both supportive and understanding of my wife's current issues.
The management made the transfer to Lindley Grange swift and pain-free.
I would certainly recommend Lindley Grange to dementia sufferers needing a high level of care.

The staff at the Lindley Grange are all so welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to and even include my children in the activities they are doing when we are there. I really didn’t want my grandma to go into a care home, but it had to happen and I am so glad we chose this one.

All members of the wonderful team go above and beyond for the residents and their families. Everyone is consistently welcoming and makes an effort to build up relationships with family members.
You can feel the genuine care that the team have for all the residents which is reassuring for families
whose loved ones are in their care.

My nan is a resident at Lindley Grange and has been for some time now. They have looked after her so well. The staff are amazing and really do care for each individual who resides there. They have some amazing activities for the residents too which are loads of fun.
One carer, in particular, is so
good with my nan, she always keeps us updated with lovely photos of things my nan has been up to. I’d like to thank all the staff for always being so welcoming to our family too when we visit and thank you for taking care of my nan.

From the first time we visited Lindley Grange Care Home we knew it would provide the level of care we’d been looking for! Mum moved in at the beginning of this year and the care she has received has been exceptional! All the staff are brilliant, so friendly, kind, considerate and care for Mums ever
need. They really understand living with dementia, have made so many adjustments to accommodate this and have an ability to manage through this difficult condition in such a calm way! There is always something going on with a full calendar of activities and Mum being encouraged to partake. As a family we have been welcomed with open arms, encouraged to join in, kept informed at all times and know that she is safe, secure, being really well looked after and loved like a member of their own family - what more could we ask for!

A huge thank you to the Lindley Grange Care Home and everyone else at Lindley Grange for everything you do for my dad. The care at Lindley Grange is exceptional, from the very start Dad was treated as an individual - the manager came to see Dad to assess his needs personally, ensuring that moving to
Lindley Grange was the right decision for everyone. We are supported as a family and nothing is too much trouble. Queries are dealt with promptly, any niggles are sorted out and care plans are adjusted regularly to make sure they still meet Dad's needs. Dad has settled in quickly, and while his dementia diagnosis means ongoing deterioration, the 24-hour care and safety measures put into place in his room have reduced his falls significantly. He recently celebrated a birthday and the extra mile just doesn't cover it, party food was arranged, family and friends were invited to join, and the photographs say it all, a very happy Dad celebrating his birthday surrounded by people that care. Two words - thank you

I came to an 80th party for my friend, they put up a table of lovely food and the staff came in and joined in the celebration. All of the staff are amazing, very caring and go above and beyond. Thank you all so much for the care that you all give!

My sister-in-law has been a resident for approx two years, having previously been in a care home that wasn't meeting her needs. She has advanced dementia, so is unable to take part in the many activities, but is always amongst everyone that can take part. The home always looked very clean and tidy,
and the staff are cheerful and caring and go over and above to make residents happy, catering to individual needs and interests. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

I go to see my father-in-law with my wife. He is comfortable at Lindley Grange. The staff are always very nice and friendly and give him the great care he deserves. He is now at end of life, and the dignity all the staff give is brilliant. One member of staff still tries to get him involved in activities,
and we can view them on Facebook, but yes, we're happy with all the staff and the manager doing a fabulous job. Keep it up, Lindley Grange.

My husband was admitted to Lindley Grange with advanced dementia. The staff looked after him really well. I don’t believe we could have found him anywhere better. Food is cooked on the premises and very good quality. Everyone was very caring and patient with him. They kept an eye on all aspects of his
care and did everything they could to keep him safe and happy. Their communication with me was very good. I particularly appreciated that visitors could visit at any time and without warning, and that dogs were welcome. The activities, which were well organised and varied, were very much appreciated by the residents. The management team was very knowledgeable and sympathetic. I really can’t praise them too highly.

It's Valentine's Day and I have just been along to Lindley Grange to have a celebratory lunch with my partner. The amount of thought and care that has gone into making this a very special occasion for us both is nothing short of amazing.
I would like to thank in particular the activities coordinator,
the hostess and the chef who pulled out all the stops to mark the day with love and a smile.

I have worked here at Lindley Grange for 11 years. I started in 2009 as a care assistant, and in 2016 I was offered the opportunity to become the activities coordinator - I jumped at the chance as I love the interaction with the residents. Lindley Grange is my second family and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.
I was nominated and won Bupa’s Every Day Hero award in 2017 which was a fantastic achievement.

I have worked at Lindley Grange since 2016. I began my career as a care assistant, and in 2018 I was offered the opportunity to be a Hostess - I progressed my role further to become a nutrition and hydration adviser. I am now Unit Manager however responsibilities from my previous roles are still important. I work very closely with outside agencies such as SALT and the dietitian to make sure that our residents have the best possible care. I love my role and everyone at Lindley Grange as they are a family to me.
