Just like to say the staff are all friendly and helpful, always on hand to explain anything that I wanted to know. I feel that Mum is in a safe and well-supported team that cares about their patients in the care home. I think it is a wonderful place and the staff are great too.

My mum was treated with dignity and compassion throughout her two-year stay. I do believe she was allowed to join activities if she wanted to, but not forced into anything she didn't want to do. Towards the end of her life, her care was very good, and I cannot fault any of her care.

I cannot praise Lindley Grange enough. The service they give is excellent to all of them. I cannot state my admiration enough. The care and attention to duty is incredible, everyone is friendly and helpful and is at present taking great care of my mother. Though personally, I don't want to end up in a care home, does anyone, but if it did come to be, this home would have my 100% blessing. They are number one.

My dad came into Lindley Grange Care Home during covid; it was so hard for us all and very confusing for him as he was discharged from hospital straight to the home. Moving on from this very traumatic time, I’m so happy that dad had settled here. He can’t walk, is doubly incontinent and can’t really form a full sentence; but he is content and the staff work above and beyond to accommodate his needs. They are kind to him and are patient with us as we’ve had emotional ups and downs and essentially we’re grieving for a dad who’s still alive but not the dad and husband he was. I am glad dad is in Lindley Grange Care Home; when I leave I’m not worried about him. On mum's birthday the staff bought flowers and organised tea and cake; they make a massive effort in what is an incredibly hard job. The staff are kind, gentle and respectful with dad. Thank you for taking such good care of him. I would recommend the care home to anyone with complex dementia needs.

Without a doubt, the greatest asset at Lindley Grange is the staff. At the end of the day, everything else is secondary; it is the quality of the staff that ultimately determines the success of a care home. Caring for residents with dementia is extremely challenging, requiring dedication, patience, and above all, empathy. Working in a dementia care home needs to be considered a vocation, not just a job. I've seen this first-hand with my father; the staff genuinely care for him and strive to enhance his quality of life, despite his often challenging needs and behaviours. The home's Facebook page offers an excellent portal into daily life at the home. The obvious joy on all the faces - both residents and staff - tells you more than any review can about the warm and caring environment fostered by the staff. Highly recommended.

My auntie has been at Lindley Grange for almost a year now and during this time the care she has received has been exceptional, she appears to be very happy and settled, there is always lots of activities taking place, which everybody thoroughly enjoys and although my aunt isn't able to join in many of them the ones that she does partake in are very person-centred and totally meet her needs. The staff are amazing, all very conscientious and they treat everybody with dignity and respect, nothing is ever too much trouble any issues are dealt with swiftly and efficiently, the home is kept very clean and tidy and there is currently a scheme of decorative improvement's taking place which are dementia friendly, meals are very nutritious and are freshly cooked each day and there is always plenty of choices. Overall I would highly recommend Lindley Grange, it truely is a home from home.

My friend's husband is in this care home and she is very elderly so I take her to see her husband. The staff are amazing always keep in touch to let us know how he's doing using Skype in the lockdown. They can't do enough for you so we know he is well looked after by the staff, and all the residents seem content. There are always activities going on and his wife loves to see all the pictures of him. Perfect.

Overall Experience
Lindley Grange have been fantastic with my mum. Management, nurses, and care staff are all fabulous. My mum has dementia and since having a nasty fall at another care home the staff made the transition into Lindley Grange a settled one for her. My mum unfortunately is chair bound now but Lindley Grange staff all look after her so well and try to entertain her best they can. After a few months of recuperating, she began to smile and interact more. I believe this is because of the care she is receiving and the fact that she is treated with dignity. Time is spent with all residents and all that staff do to entertain is also on Facebook for me to track. There have been some lovely pictures of my mum. Communication is excellent too especially during covid times. If there are any problems they always ring and keep me updated. I never feel that I have to chase up anything.

Decor could do with an update but I believe that will happen soon. It is clean. Thank you for taking good care of my mum.

I cannot praise Lindley Grange high enough as my ratings indicate. I would like to say the staff are second to none. As I am the world's worst visitor, even with the COVID test pre-visit I am made to feel relaxed before seeing my brother who has Alzheimer's. I can not pretend to enjoy seeing my brother this way, but the staff make it tolerable, thank you.

I went to visit my very good friend for the 1st time I have been able to for many months. It was lovely to be reunited again after long months of pandemic separation. How time went so quick whilst I was with her, we had some catching up to do and remembering times past and good holidays. I am going again to see her in a fortnights time and dearly hope we aren't hampered by COVID restrictions once again. The staff involved in my visit were very kind and looked after me.

My dad went into hospital suddenly and unexpectedly and we had to find a respite home quickly for my mum who has early-stage dementia.
While she was there, Mum constantly waxed lyrical on how kind and attentive the carers are. She noted how patient and actually loving they were, not just with her, but with the other more advanced residents with more difficult and complex needs. Mum loved the meals and found the room warm, clean and comfortable. She felt that being in respite at Lindley Grange Care Home was more like a holiday than a stressful separation.

I would highly recommend this care home if your relative is very advanced with Alzheimer's, they will be loved, cossetted and looked after very well.

My mum has only recently been admitted to the home, and she was scared to death of the idea of a "home". However, having been able to visit their week, she and I needn't have worried. She is safe, secure, happy and cared for by a team that is dedicated and empathetic. Her being here has helped my mental health too, and I look forward to sitting in the garden with her.
