The home is always very clean and staff make you welcome. My husband settled in very quickly which was a relief for me. I am now able to go and see him in the pod after many months of lockdown. Seeing Facebook helps relatives to see just how the residents enjoy being there.

I think the staff are excellent at Lindley Grange and pre COVID, I visited my dad regularly here. They were so welcoming, always engaging towards my dad and his needs and always notified of any of his health issues. There is a nice family feel to the environment and I truly can’t thank the staff enough for how they treat my dad - always with respect and dignity. I saw my dad today (on my birthday) and they had helped him make a card for me and bought me some flowers and a bun. I wasn’t expecting that but it was such a nice gesture as they realise how hard it is in the families too. Thank you all. I would highly recommend any family to look at this nursing home as an option.

From the moment my husband entered Lindley Grange he has been treated like a member of the family. He is dealt with the utmost respect, dignity and patience. The wonderful staff take time to chat with him and on occasions where he has been distressed or agitated reassure him in the most calm and caring manner. Each day I phone the home and every single person I speak to asks me how I am. Our family are so grateful that my husband is in a warm, safe and caring environment in what is a hard time for us.

My daughters and I have just lost a much-loved father and husband after five months of exceptional care at Lindley Grange. We are all convinced that this would have happened much earlier without their ongoing commitment to his wellbeing. His final months have been worth living thanks to the amazing staff. Even during his last few hours when we were finally allowed to be with him, he was treated with such love and dignity by all the staff. We cannot emphasise how impressive they all were and how much this helped us all come to terms with his loss.

The staff are absolutely amazing, even with the lockdown. When my husband went in, I feel I’ve got to know them so well, either through phone calls or window visits, they always come out to chat. My lovely hubby of 62 had to go in from a crisis point, I’ve not been able to see his bedroom or see how he interacts (the staff fill me in), but I know there is no better place for him apart from home. Roll on proper visits when I can come into Lindley Grange, can’t wait to become part of your family. Thank you all.

Mum has been at Lindley Grange a few months now after struggling at a couple of care homes, her care since coming to Lindley has been exemplary, and she has settled here much better. The staff seem very attentive and have looked after her needs and helped her settle in, despite the problems brought about by Covid. It has been a great relief to find somewhere that can cope with mum’s various needs, and helping me to feel more confident in the care she is given.

Lindley Grange has surpassed our expectations on every level when it comes to making Dad comfortable, happy and feel right at home. His symptoms are managed thoughtfully and his wellbeing is given time, effort and energy by the dedicated team. We don't think of them as staff; they are family. During the pandemic, we have been reassured to receive updates on Dad's wellbeing. We have especially loved the photos of all the activities he has been involved in (thank you). It's clear a lot of thought and care goes into organising these activities, never a dull moment! We couldn't wish for anything better for Dad. He deserves the best.

Our experience was similar to that when my wife stayed at Lindley Grange for a week last August. I cannot comment on many of the aspects. When we arrived we were greeted by two staff members who were very friendly and welcoming. The reception area was clean, tidy and fragrant. On collection, my wife was tidy and happy though pleased to see us. Her belongings were cleaned and packed carefully with her luggage. The reception area and staff were all as when we arrived.

My husband was admitted to Lindley Grange in March 2019 after 13 weeks in an acute ward in a nearby hospital. Everyone was very welcoming and it took us a while to settle in. My husband had never been ill in his life and found it very confusing initially but everyone was very caring and gradually he settled in. The meals are very good and my husband enjoys them. There are many varied activities every day and while the residents are encouraged to join in, nobody is forced to. I am entirely happy with Lindley Grange and as a qualified nursing professional, if I had any doubts about anything I would speak up. When lockdown isn't on, relatives are encouraged to come into the home especially when outside entertainment is on.

Lindley Grange nurses, care workers and all staff are a team of amazing people, professional at all times, who go above and beyond. I would say they are family to each other and residents alike. The amount of love and empathy my mum has received from the staff, even in a crisis when the stress has been unbelievably hard on the staff the residents have been given love and care. The staff are long term, not here one week and gone the next. This in itself tells you everything about the feeling in Lindley Grange, it’s their second home and as I said, they go above and beyond. I would recommend Lindley Grange without hesitation. It’s a very emotional time having a loved one needing more help than you can give not being able to see to their needs is heartbreaking but being able to trust people to care with love, empathy and gentleness is important for all the family and I feel Lindley Grange goes above and beyond. Thank you Lindley Grange.

Having to put Dad into 24-hour care due to the nature of his illness was such a difficult decision, but also brought a lot of stress, uncertainty and upset, especially for my Mum. Although this is fairly new, we are astounded and so pleased how quickly Dad has settled in, and how content he is. This is largely due to how the staff treat him and manage his needs, just fantastic. Thank you.

My husband went into Lindley Grange in May 2019. It took a few weeks for him and myself to settle into this new normal. The staff were amazing and tried very hard to put me at ease and I really appreciated it, as it was extremely difficult to accept this situation. Since then things have settled down ish. The time and effort they give to their daily duties is remarkable. They are all very caring and compassionate, not only towards the residents but also to the residents family members and their other visitors, as they obviously realise having a loved one in care isn’t easy. The staff are all dedicated to treating each resident as an individual and work hard to get to understand their specific needs. There are always lots of activities going on for the residents to get involved in, every effort is made to gently encourage them to join in. I am grateful to every staff member for the quality of care my husband receives from every aspect. Thank you so much.

Words are not enough to describe how amazing the staff at Lindley Grange are. Their care and compassion coupled with their humour have made the last three years whilst my dad has been in their care so much easier. They truly are inspiring and I don't know how I would have got through this time without their kindness and support.

My dad has been a resident at Lindley Grange since May 2019. He seems to have settled in quite well really. It was a very difficult decision to make in the first place, and despite a couple of teething problems everything seems to be going well, and dad seems happy enough. I think this is because staff work tirelessly to get everybody involved in activities. There is frequently live music and dancing, and even though dad has been a lot less receptive of music recently, he has absolutely loved the band that has visited a couple of times. The activities coordinator goes above and beyond to think of interesting ways to keep everybody active and socialising, and when I visit I can really see how much everybody really does genuinely care about my dad, my hero. Of course, there are bad days because of his condition, but the staff always seem to be patient and gentle from what I have seen. At least dad always has a smile when talking to the staff, and that says a lot in my opinion

My brother who has vascular dementia has settled well at Lindley Grange. We find all the staff very caring and the atmosphere welcoming an cheerful. The staff work really really hard and always give time to each of the residents. Lots of activities. Yesterday we enjoyed the Ukelele Group. Well done.
