View Full Details of Lindley Grange Care HomeLindley Grange is an absolute brilliant nursing home, my Grandma hasn't been there long but we are all very impressed with the home, caring, friendly and helpful staff, and the effort made in keeping the residents engaged and entertained. My Gran has been enjoying her day trips out and little jobs given, although she is suffering from dementia she is settled, eating alot better than her previous home and joining in alot more to everyday activities. Would highly recommend this home, keep up the good work, its much appreciated. Thank you
I enjoyed the visit to the local nursery where we did some crafts with the children and singing happy birthday to my friend. I'm looking forward to the children coming here this week. We've also been doing activities themed around a cruise, 'visiting' different countries. That's been great fun. I like all of the nurses and care staff here as they look after are very well. They always take time to talk and we share stories.
My dad has improved immeasurably since my dad came to the home. He's settled so well, put on weight and has benefited massively from the activities and attentiveness of the team here. He's been able to participate in a number of activities that have genuinely brought some joy to him. The staff here have been amazing and I always feel so welcomed. Nursing is of the highest quality and I'm kept informed and up to date. I feel so much happier knowing he's being well cared for. Thank you.
When looking for a care home for my elderly mum I visited several care homes and decided on Lindley grange because, although it was further from me than I wanted it to be, there was a strong feeling that it was a welcoming and caring environment which was somewhere i felt mum would be safe, treated with respect and listened to. She has been taken for a visit to a garden centre and called in the cafe and enjoyed a drink and a slice of cake. All the staff say hello when they pass by and she is surrounded in the safe arms of a caring home. The care manager always finds time for a chat and really understands the needs of residents. I am so glad I found this wonderful place.
This is a first class care home. Mum has been here for 18 months now and could not be more settled. She is able to choose whether to join in the many varied activities on offer, and often chooses to join in as the activities are both stimulating and appropriate. The attention and care given by every member of the Lindley Grange team has given us peace of mind that mum is in the correct provision and the staff could not do any more for her.
Since mum became a resident of Lindley Grange I've been extremely impressed with all the care she receives in all respects. To see her getting involved in the singing, dancing, drawing, cooking, and outdoor activities to name just a few, is so heartwarming, as it's just what she used to loved to do. It's fantastic to see her safe, clean and happy, and joining in with residents and staff alike.
My mum first went to Cleveland House first, she was not happy there. Then she went to Linley Grange, what a difference. The staff were amazing, they had lots of activities going on, the staff were caring and discreet. .It's such a happy place. So glad that my mum spent her last days there
Have visited the family member several times now and have seen an improvement in his manner and recognised us straight away. We had a laugh and he joined in with the conversation when possible. The staff on duty at the time were pleasant and joined in the conversation as well. The resident seems happy enough to be in 'The Grange' and takes part in activities on offer.
This is a fantastic place for any family member that needs care. They can not do enough for my mum. They also take the time to speak with us and make us all feel at ease and welcome. They have activities to involve all residents and there families. I cannot recommend this place enough
Since our dad has been a resident here we have been so overwhelmed by the care and love he has received. They have gone above and beyond to make sure dad settled in to his new home. There isn't a day goes by when there is some kind of entertainment or activity available if dad wants to participate. They have taken dad on many trips and this has enriched his life so much. A special shout out has to go to to a specific member of staff who organises all the activities. The thought that goes into everything from meals to personal care and nursing is outstanding! All the staff are friendly, approachable and will always listen to any concerns we've had. Overall we are so happy that dad has found his forever home.
Mum has been a resident for nearly 8 months now and she's been made to feel part of the Lindley Grange family right from the start. As expected she was feeling overwhelmed and apprehensive with such a big change in lifestyle (as were me & my hubby), but management & staff alike pulled together to reassure her (& us) that all was going to be fine and she'd soon settle in, which she has. Staff are great with mum, always lots of smiles & kisses for her. Lovely patient nursing staff always on hand to answer any questions. Nice & clean, laundry done daily & hung back in wardrobe, regular baths/hairwash. Lovely home cooked meals n lush desserts. Mum joins in with a wide variety of fun & interesting daily activities. Singer's, panto, choirs, nursery children, therapy dog, small animals/creature's come in to entertain the residents. Day trips in the shared minibus (mum's going in it to 'The Deep' next week) all organised by a fantastic activity coordinator/team who I can't praise high enough.
I was initially apprehensive and filled with doubt about the decision to move my dad into a care home, it's not something you take lightly. But Lindley Grange made the process much easier than I ever expected. The staff were excellent at settling my dad in, and the level of care and attention he's received since has been outstanding. He's genuinely thrived at the home. The team are always on hand to provide the support he needs, and it's clear they really care about the residents. I'm very grateful for the peace of mind they've given us.
Our experience at Lindley Grange care home has, so far, been extremely positive. The staff are highly experienced and professional, and very friendly and welcoming. The residents are well cared for and there is always a member of staff available to answer any queries or concerns. The food is excellent with lots of variety. The same applies to all the activities available for the residents to enjoy. The cleanliness of the home is very impressive, there is always a fresh clean smell. All in all, we are more than happy with the care my sister receives and have no complaints whatsoever.
Our sincere thanks for the authentic kindness and generosity of care Lindley Grange provided for our Dad, husband and Granddad. Such genuine kindness, understanding and compassion, and a strong willingness to do what's best for our Dad has meant that we were always confident that he was being given the best care, even in a heartbreaking situation. Staff that always smile, always ask about families welfare. A constant respect for individuality and personal needs, always respectful and incredibly kind.

Lindley grange is Such a lovely care home, all staff are very friendly and helpful. The activities that I have seen in the home are outstanding. There is such a warm and welcoming feeling when walking in.
Afternoon visit, the residents loved the band who were playing. Some of the residents were singing and dancing with staff. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly.
Mum was moved to Lindley Grange a couple of years ago, and the care and love she's been shown since she arrived by all the staff is amazing. The activities she receives are top notch and she thoroughly enjoys them. She's always happy, smiling and singing!
Since moving to Lindley Grange Mum has looked happier than she has for a long time. She has settled in very quickly and has a good rapport with the staff. She's well looked after and occupied every day with all the wonderful activities on offer to her. I don't feel I need to worry about her at all now.
My Mother has been at Lindley Grange Care Home since the middle of last year, and the care she has received has been fantastic, she is in a much better physically and mentally than when she arrived. There is a great team of staff who genuinely appear to want to do their best for the residents. There is a huge range of well-thought-out activities laid on with something different most days. The menu is varied, and staff always ensure that there is something that mum will eat - not an easy task. Whenever I visit, the whole place is spotless everything is well organised, and dogs are welcome. It really is better than I ever imagined a care home could be.
