My wife has been resident for more than two years and has been treated with dignity, warmth and high quality care at all times. The staff are without exception cheerful, caring and welcoming to me as a frequent visitor and benefit from strong leadership/ I am kept informed of any problem arising in
my wife's condition, however small.

Our experience of Elm Grove is excellent. The staff cannot do enough for the residents and sometimes come in outside their working hours to give extra care and support when my father returned from the hospital. The Chestnut Lodge manager stayed on well beyond her finishing time to see my father safely
return. My father has recently celebrated his 90th birthday. He was asked what he wanted for a special breakfast, and a member of staff brought in croissants and clotted cream on her day off. He was given a birthday balloon and made a special cake, and all the staff working on the day came and said happy birthday to him. We were also able to hold a party for the family in the front lounge of Elm Grove.

I can't say enough about the staff and the management of Elm Grove Care Home. Mum is very well taken care of and it's obvious they go over and above for her comfort, her well-being and ever changing daily requirements. With being across the Atlantic, we try to do a video call once a week, sometimes
a challenge as Mum sleeps quite a bit and it's hard to coordinate a time, but the staff do their best. I am very pleased with the level of support and overall concern shown to my mum at the Elm Grove. My only concern would be the frequency of staff turnover. It's important that mum recognizes and is comfortable with consistent faces. Unfamiliar faces can cause trust issues and stress.

Our first memory was the choice of food for lunch and dinner of that first day, and successive days, including breakfast. Introductions were made with all the staff, including management and nursing staff. The standard

I cannot thank Julie and her amazing team of staff enough. This has been a special month for us, with Johns 90th birthday. A lovely cake was brought to his room with staff all singing 'happy birthday'. Also he was able to request a 'special breakfast' where he got the idea for clotted cream to go with
croissants, I'll never know, but what he wanted was what he got! Julie was then super helpful in facilitating a party for all the family, even coming in on her day off. Amazing memories for all of us. Thank you SO much.

Lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Good food, lots of activities, so no danger of being bored. Magazines, puzzle books, jig-saw puzzles are all available. Nice little garden and patio to sit outside on.

My husband is being cared for extremely well. On two occasions the manager of his sector has giving up her own off duty time to make sure his needs a met. I cannot speak too highly of he and all the caring staff at his helm!

I'm a resident of Ashley House for 3 years. I'm very happy living here. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The chef goes to a lot of trouble and meals are excellent. The day to day activities person/coordinator is exceptional. Laundry services are excellent.

The care given was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. The staff surpassed the needs of my father in law, and the care and kindness shown to his family was wonderful and comforting. The activities are varied and well thought out. The accommodation is clean, and rooms are thoroughly furnished
with furniture to meet the needs of the individual. Overall, I cannot recommend Ashley House enough. They are outstanding in every way.

I was particularly impressed when my husband developed a very high temperature. His temperature and blood pressure (very low) were carefully monitored, and when condition became worse, he was quickly rushed to hospital. After his condition was stabilised after 3 days, he returned to Elm Grove to a very
warm and caring welcome - I cannot rate the staff too highly! They are brilliant!

It was Mums 91st birthday on Monday, I went and spent most of the day with her. The staff were so kind, popping into to wish her a happy birthday, a cake was made for her, and a number of the staff came in to sing Happy Birthday.
Mum said it was her best birthday in 90 years.
Such a great care
home, I would highly recommend it.

My brother recently moved into Ashley House Care Home. The staff have been attentive and treated him as an individual. They have worked with him to settle in and feel relaxed. I am impressed with the size of room he has and the fact that there is an ensuite wet room with a shower. There is a good choice
of meals and regular activities for those who wish to socialise. I have always felt welcomed when I have visited.

Staff were excellent and very caring. The food looked delicious. My parents were well cared for while in respite. The room was clean and warm. I can't comment on activities as my parents didn't take part in anything.

My father-in-law is a resident at Ashley House, I've visited many times and always been warmly welcomed by various members of staff, the chef, manager, receptionist, domestic, etc. Everybody knows what he's doing and where he is - he's very well cared for, and listens to family members' requests and
concerns. Ashley House has a real homely feel and the individual rooms are suited to the individual needs, personal items allowed to make their space familiar - food and drink are varied and plentiful, as are activities if they wish to join in, and all welcome visitors at any time.

When visiting the home, everyone was very welcoming offered drinks and pointed in the right way. Grandads room was always clean and tidy, staff always checking in to see if he or us needed anything. Would always go above and beyond.

My father-in-law was definitely made to feel it was home from home, and that as a family we all very much appreciated the care, friendship and support he received was amazing, on our visits everyone was always cheerful and friendly.
