I was particularly impressed when my husband developed a very high temperature. His temperature and blood pressure (very low) were carefully monitored, and when condition became worse, he was quickly rushed to hospital. After his condition was stabilised after 3 days, he returned to Elm Grove to a very
warm and caring welcome - I cannot rate the staff too highly! They are brilliant!

Elm Grove is well maintained, immaculate and well managed. The carers are superb, they are very attentive and cannot do enough for the residents. When my father became very unwell, the staff were quick to recognise the problem and swift to call on emergency medical assistance.
The kindness shown and
the concern for my father were amazing, with a member of staff asking if it was ok to pop and say 'hello' to my father in hospital. The support extended to the whole family, recognising how we were struggling with my father's situation.

It was Mums 91st birthday on Monday, I went and spent most of the day with her. The staff were so kind, popping into to wish her a happy birthday, a cake was made for her, and a number of the staff came in to sing Happy Birthday.
Mum said it was her best birthday in 90 years.
Such a great care
home, I would highly recommend it.

My wife has been a resident at Elm Grove for 2 years, suffering from an advanced stage of Alzheimer's disease, and I have been a regular visitor during that period. The standard of care she receives is consistently very high and geared towards her specific needs at all times. In particular her personal
dietary needs are accommodated easily. The staff are without exception expert, cheerful and welcoming at all times and I take great comfort from the fact that whoever I consult about her condition is knowledgeable about her case.
The home is clean and very well maintained and there is a number of activities sensitively arranged for the residents, both communal and individual. The safety of residents is assured through thoroughly designed routines.
The management is enthusiastic and devoted to the care, stimulation and entertainment of residents. Participation by relatives is actively encouraged.
I am relieved and delighted that my wife is safe, warm and expertly cared for.

My brother recently moved into Ashley House Care Home. The staff have been attentive and treated him as an individual. They have worked with him to settle in and feel relaxed. I am impressed with the size of room he has and the fact that there is an ensuite wet room with a shower. There is a good choice
of meals and regular activities for those who wish to socialise. I have always felt welcomed when I have visited.

Staff were excellent and very caring. The food looked delicious. My parents were well cared for while in respite. The room was clean and warm. I can't comment on activities as my parents didn't take part in anything.

My father-in-law is a resident at Ashley House, I've visited many times and always been warmly welcomed by various members of staff, the chef, manager, receptionist, domestic, etc. Everybody knows what he's doing and where he is - he's very well cared for, and listens to family members' requests and
concerns. Ashley House has a real homely feel and the individual rooms are suited to the individual needs, personal items allowed to make their space familiar - food and drink are varied and plentiful, as are activities if they wish to join in, and all welcome visitors at any time.

When visiting the home, everyone was very welcoming offered drinks and pointed in the right way. Grandads room was always clean and tidy, staff always checking in to see if he or us needed anything. Would always go above and beyond.

My father-in-law was definitely made to feel it was home from home, and that as a family we all very much appreciated the care, friendship and support he received was amazing, on our visits everyone was always cheerful and friendly.

Withe dads dementia was a big concern to me. The home was great for all of us. The help and support we all got was wonderful. Each member a staff, was so good to dad, our visits each time we were offered drinks and a little cake. Dad loved his food especially the puddings. He was allowed to put up photos
and pictures on the walls. Great home, very dignified at the end for dad.

My mother has been here just over a year and has settled in very well. The staff are very caring and know all the residents very well. There are plenty of things going on, regular daily activities, as well as the occasional special events like fetes, animals visiting and different musical events. I've
got to know many of the people who work here and I'm aware that they work extremely hard to look after everyone.

Would like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff at Elm Grove..My mother -in-law had a blip in her dementia two weeks ago and all the staff have been amazing with all their care to get her back to a better place in her dementia.Communication with us has been 100% as it always is.

Dad's 100th birthday was yesterday. The resident manager and the staff did an exceptional job of making this a fantastic day. The joy from all the carers and staff was fantastic. The chef made the most incredible cake.

The effort everyone put in for my Granddad's 100th birthday was amazing - They arranged balloons, a singer, and an amazing cake. Nothing was too much trouble. My Grandad and all the residents had a wonderful afternoon celebrating. To see him up singing and dancing at 100 was something we will never

All of the staff made my father's 100th birthday so special. They organised entertainment, decorated the lounge beautifully, provided prosecco for all the family, and the chef made an amazing, delicious cake. The party with family, friends and residents was the highlight of his day! I can't thank the

Grandad celebrated his 100th birthday on Sunday and Ashley House hosted a magnificent party for him. They arranged for his favourite singer, prosecco and the most wonderful cake. All the residents were invited and staff. His celebrations could have been more special and enjoyable.


Grandad is

settled and happy at Ashely House and the staff are attentive to his needs and understand his wishes. The staff are kind and reassuring to Grandad, both on a health and welfare level and an emotional level. Grandad joins in some of the activities, which are daily and offer a good variety of choices. The staff are warm and welcoming every time we visit. The cleanliness of the home is of a very high standard.


As a family we are all very pleased with Ashley House and highly recommend Ashley House.

Although I had reservations at first, I have settled in very well.
I feel happier and healthier than I did living in my own home because I am so well looked after here. I have a lovely room with an ensuite. The staff are absolutely incredible, from he cleaners to management. Would recommend.
