Overall Experience

Would like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff at Elm Grove..My mother -in-law had a blip in her dementia two weeks ago and all the staff have been amazing with all their care to get her back to a better place in her dementia.Communication with us has been 100% as it always is.
So from the

bottom of our hearts a very big thank you.Would give you all more than 5 stars I'd i could.

Overall Experience

Dad's 100th birthday was yesterday. The resident manager and the staff did an exceptional job of making this a fantastic day. The joy from all the carers and staff was fantastic. The chef made the most incredible cake.
Thanks to everyone, a day to be treasured and remembered.

Overall Experience

The effort everyone put in for my Granddad's 100th birthday was amazing - They arranged balloons, a singer, and an amazing cake. Nothing was too much trouble. My Grandad and all the residents had a wonderful afternoon celebrating. To see him up singing and dancing at 100 was something we will never

forget. Thank you to everyone for making his day so special and memorable, we can't thank you enough.

All of the staff made my father's 100th birthday so special. They organised entertainment, decorated the lounge beautifully, provided prosecco for all the family, and the chef made an amazing, delicious cake. The party with family, friends and residents was the highlight of his day! I can't thank the

Overall Experience

Grandad celebrated his 100th birthday on Sunday and Ashley House hosted a magnificent party for him. They arranged for his favourite singer, prosecco and the most wonderful cake. All the residents were invited and staff. His celebrations could have been more special and enjoyable.

Grandad is

settled and happy at Ashely House and the staff are attentive to his needs and understand his wishes. The staff are kind and reassuring to Grandad, both on a health and welfare level and an emotional level. Grandad joins in some of the activities, which are daily and offer a good variety of choices. The staff are warm and welcoming every time we visit. The cleanliness of the home is of a very high standard.

As a family we are all very pleased with Ashley House and highly recommend Ashley House.

Overall Experience

Although I had reservations at first, I have settled in very well.
I feel happier and healthier than I did living in my own home because I am so well looked after here. I have a lovely room with an ensuite. The staff are absolutely incredible, from he cleaners to management. Would recommend.

Overall Experience

My father is in Ashley House for respite care following a hip replacement operation. He was extremely anxious when he first arrived but all of the staff were so kind and reassuring. He has joined in some of the activities and is very well looked after, both on a medical but also an emotional level.

There is a warm atmosphere every time we visit. The care of all the staff extends to the family as well as the resident so my mum is also cared for.

Overall Experience

As always, everything at Chestnut Lodge / Elm Grove continues to be 10/10. Friendly, incredibly patient & loving staff; amazing, stimulating activities; care & health monitoring is totally on the ball - every & any slight concern is immediately communicated to family &/or health services with the urgency

that the situation requires; nutrition requirements & concerns are constantly monitored and evolve according to mum's needs.

My sister & I live in France & the USA respectively, so we cannot visit as often as we would like. I usually manage to visit 4 or 5 times per year, but my sister keeps touch via our weekly "Zoom" video chats, which we all love. We have nothing but the highest praise for everyone at Chestnut Lodge, and we know that our mummy is living her best possible life, and having enormous amounts of fun (as we regularly see via your social media page - a real lifeline for us)! We are so incredibly grateful and cannot recommend your wonderful home enough. Thank you!

I and my son moved my mother into Ashley House a week ago, she arrived as a frail, nervous exhausted little old lady. A week on she is a changed lady, she looks amazing from good food, amazing care, and amazing carers who make her laugh, and take such great care of her. I think she may live to 100 at

Ashley House.

Overall Experience

Homely, warm and cheerful is how I would describe Ashley House, my father's home for just over two years now. It initially was a refuge for him after living alone for ten years and suffering from a debilitating health issue. Thankfully, all that is behind him after the care and support he has received

from the lovely nursing, care and admin staff who are always courteous and smiling. Dad is relaxed and knows that he is well looked after and cared for.

Since mum moved to this home in Cirencester around 2 years ago, mum has been so much happier! Compared to the last care home in the area! I have a left a 5 star review before about the amazing staff at Elm Grove, but this time I would like to express huge praise and thanks to all of the "kitchen staff!"

the chef and his team are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble talking about my mum's dietary requirements! The amount of time they have personally spent with mum, myself and my partner talking at how they can help mum with her diet, as mum is on a puree diet at present. Their kindness and time is above and beyond! The way in which the chef and team present, as well as the creativity of the pureed meals is like food you would expect to see visually in a Michelin Restaurant, the beautifully presented meals. Nothing is too much trouble, even when they are busy, if you want a cheeky cuppa, just knock on the door and they will makes us one. We love the kitchen team! Thank you!

Overall Experience

Ashley House Care Home is a very welcoming place, there is a positive vibe as you walk through the door. It is very clean and tidy and the food is excellent. The staff are lovely and we have every confidence they do the best for the residents. They make my mum feel loved and that she is in her own home.

We would not hesitate to recommend it as somewhere to seriously consider as a care home for a loved one. Good location near the very centre of Cirencester.

My mum moved into Ashley House Care Home after unexpectedly becoming quite poorly. She took a little while to settle in but I can safely say she is better now. Physically but particularly mentally than she has been for a long time. It's effortless living with wonderful caring staff and amazing food.

I would not hesitate to recommend.

Mum has settled in very well at Ashley House Care Home. the staff are all friendly, caring and attentive. She enjoys the wide choice of meals. The facilities are very good, with several large, bright spaces for the residents. Her bedroom is also a decent size with a nice view of the garden. Mum was

recently quite poorly but the staff treated her very well and professionally and kept us regularly informed.

My mother has been a resident at Ashley House for just over a year now. As a family, we are delighted with her care. Mum is more active now than she has been in the last five years of her life prior to going into the care home. The amount of activities organised for residents is excellent. Mum has a

Overall Experience

Elm Grove, Cirencester. Mum came to Elm Grove from the hospital after a very serious fall, which needed surgery. She's settled in very quickly and regained her mobility in a short time with the help of staff. Mum had oedema on both legs, now 6 months later, they are all clear. There's always nursing

staff available for an update. The home is very clean and all the staff are very supportive and calm around her dementia symptoms. She is in the last stages of dementia now, and she is being monitored daily. I always receive an update when I visit.
The grounds are large and they hold a summer fair every year. Mum really enjoyed that. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
