My Dad has been in this care home for 2 years now. He has been very happy here and although he chooses not to participate in most events he knows there is plenty to occupy himself if he wants to. He appreciates the ability to be left to think for himself and not be pressured into an option that is not
really for him. I can sleep far easier knowing he is excellently cared for and he admits he wants for nothing. Staff make him feel special and he loves the banter.
He loves to go to the reception area where people pass through, that it doesn't commit him to long conversations, he can people watch and the lovely receptionist Bryony treats him to a special coffee.

All the staff are amazing and take good care of Mum. Tomi, Kim & Dani are especially good with her, getting her dancing and playing games to occupy her and distract her when she is in her wandering mode. The Thursday music session in the Windsor Ward is amazing, really gets Mum going and you can see
how much she enjoys it. I wish there could be more sessions like this for the Windsor Ward.

All the staff at the home are very attentive, polite to the residents. I travel a long distance to see my parents, and I am always allowed to eat with them. This provides a great space and opportunity to catch up.

Mum and dad have been in Bayford about a year now.
Mum has stable blood sugars for first time in about a decade!
She has also managed to lose some weight and looks healthier for it.
Mum regularly enjoys activities set out through the day.
Dad enjoys spending meals with mum and having a quiet afternoon
in his room.
Dad always looks clean and presentable which is hard to do as he can be a bit stubborn!
All the care staff are wonderful and so caring and patient.
Staff always inform me of any changes no matter how small which is lovely!
Both being at Bayford house has really improved their general quality of life.

Physiotherapy department supports me in my rehabilitation ,and they are always happy to help whenever I need any sort of help. The manager always goes around and pops

My mother in law is so happy since she moved into Bayford House. She is always smiling and even though she is not mobile she enjoys all the fun activities on offer. She has nothing but praise for all the stall from the management, down to the cleaners, as do we. They all treat her with love and respect
as if she were one of their own family member. When you leave a loved one in a care home it is a very difficult decision to make. Ours was made so much easier as everyone was so welcoming and caring she settled in from day one. A huge thank you from all her family for helping making her feel so loved and cared for. She is never lonely anymore and we love coming to visit her in her wonderful new home.

The staff are very thoughtful and attentive and go out of their way to meet residents needs. They deal with my mother very patiently, despite the fact that she isn't always polite in return. There's plenty of varied activities laid on by the staff and they do their best to ensure that the residents
get involved. The food served is varied with plenty of choice available.

At home my mother frequently fell and wasn't eating proper meals. At Bayford House she's getting the care she needs. The staff can't do anything about the fact my mother is very stubborn and often doesn't call for assistance, but I do know she is being well cared for by the staff.

My mother in law seems very happy. She always says that she is well looked after. The staff are attentive to her needs and keep a good eye on her health and welfare. The staff have a family caring attitude that supports her general feeling of well-being.
The toilet/bathroom in her room has been 'out
of order' for a number of weeks. There is a sign on the door. There may be a reason for this (prevent her from using it when alone), but I have not been aware of the reason.
