A lovely welcome at reception. The staff greet you and my mom is treated with respect and dignity. My mom is free to use her walker to walk up and down the corridor and down the lift and she is safe. She is not just left in her room to her own devices.
The entertainment is varied and all residents
enjoy it. My mom does not enjoy crafts but was encouraged to try flower arranging, painting etc. and surprised herself. My mom is happy here. The entertainers/singers put a smile on all the residents faces who tap and sing along and I enjoy attending as well.

Staff friendly and accommodating, excellent food offerings and overall clean and tidy. Dad would rather be in his own space with fewer interruptions overnight but has no complaints with Bayford House or its staff. As visitors we find the staff very nice and smiley and we feel Dad is well looked after,
though we do notice the staff seem to assume he's deaf and sometimes shout at rather than talk to him.
Reply from Natasha Burns-Leigh, Customer Service Advisor at Bayford House Care HomeThank you for taking the time to leave your review. It would be easier if the home would provide travel to hospital at no extra cost as the amount of money they pay a month should include this service.

St Mark's Care Home

My parents have settled well in St Marks. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Their rooms are so a good quality and nice view of the garden. Any issues maintenance staff help immediately. There are a range of different activities each day which helps keep them active and interact with other residents
and local community. The doctor visiting each week takes pressure off my commitments and helps keep them all well. The Eton Unit staff communicate with me regularly on their well being. The menu and dietary provision for coeliacs needs more effort to offer inclusive food for dad.

The best thing about Beacher Hall is that my father does not only receive care here, but also rehabilitation. I cannot praise the physiotherapy team enough for the work they do with my father - they are highly professional and dedicated.
I am also very grateful to the nursing team, who have helped
my father progress from being fed solely through a PEG to eating fully independently.
I truly appreciate that the staff take into consideration that my father does not speak much English and actively find different ways to communicate with him.
I feel that my father is safe at Beacher Hall, and I am very thankful that he is able to stay here.
