Staff are very caring and staff turnover is low so Mum is well known and looked after with her personal preferences being taken into account by all the staff. Clean and comfortable room and communal spaces. Activities are varied, regular and well run. Mum enjoys the hairdresser visits and looks forward
to meals which look very nice. Mum is very content.

Mum has been here for over a year now and as a family we could not be more happy. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I've never seen mum turn away any of her food, even food I thought she wouldn't like. The activities are great and I love seeing the photos especially when mum has joined in.

My mother is well looked after, and all staff are friendly and helpful. At times I think staff shortages impact on her care, eg long time sitting in a wheelchair. She seems to get put to bed quite early, and one time she was washed and dressed and sitting in her chair by 6.30am.

My mother in law seems very happy. She always says that she is well looked after. The staff are attentive to her needs and keep a good eye on her health and welfare. The staff have a family caring attitude that supports her general feeling of well-being.
The toilet/bathroom in her room has been 'out
of order' for a number of weeks. There is a sign on the door. There may be a reason for this (prevent her from using it when alone), but I have not been aware of the reason.

We try to visit my mother at least once every 2-3 weeks. I try to have a brief chat with her every day, but sometimes no one is answering the phone. She feels comfortable and relaxed with her carers. I feel she should be eating better, but I am not sure why she is not eating well.

My mother moved to Thatcham Court Care Home from another care home as the mental health team advised she move to a nursing home with dementia specialism. The professionalism, knowledge, skill, and compassion that has been shown to my mother and our family has been outstanding. I really wish that my
mother had started her care home journey here, as being able to progress, if needed, from residential to nursing within the same home would have been beautiful and a lot less stressful.

Ever since I came to Beacher Hall, I have been made very welcomed. I feel very at home here. Everyone from all departments have helped me out with everything I need here. I love my room with all my things about me and someone comes to see me every hour to check that I am ok. I am very independent in
the home. I can do gardening which I enjoy very much. I can go out independently anywhere I want. Laundry is excellent, returning things the same day. Housekeeping is great. Kitchen department adapts food to my preference. Maintenance top level. Activities team are brilliant and I have learnt how to do many new things. Overall I am very happy here and settled.
