Tenterden House Care Home

I needed a week's convalescence after having a hip replacement. I was looked after very well indeed. Everyone was kind and considerate. The food was good and plentiful, and nicely served. (I had breakfast and every meal in my room but took lunch in the dining room). My room was a comfortable ensuite.
I enjoyed being able to sit in the nice gardens and try out my crutches on the circular walkway. I also enjoyed company of other residents, some younger and some old. People recovering from strokes, or just needing elder care.

My mum 's stay at Kilfillan was just three weeks until she died but she was in the best possible care. My family is very grateful to each and every member of staff for the professionalism, kindness and compassion they gave us and my mother. Everyone - nursing, admin, cleaners - was exemplary. Whilst
end of life is never going to be an easy process, I can't imagine it could be any better than the one provided by Kilfillan. Thank you.

This was my father's 2nd respite stay here. It was great to see so many of the same friendly caring staff as were here 2 years ago on his last stay. There is a really happy atmosphere amongst the staff who clearly know the residents well and they really understand my dad's needs and gave an excellent
level of care. The catering and facilities were also very good with varied menu and nice lounge and garden. Would definitely recommend.

I can't thank all the nursing and care staff on Queen Elizabeth Unit enough for the excellent care given to my dad who sadly passed away in July 2025. He was placed in Brunswick Court after numerous falls and we couldn't have asked for a better home for him. He loved all the staff there despite feeling
that they needed more staff, especially at night. He loved the bingo and activities. There was always something arranged every day. The catering staff provided a great choice of lovely food. The ladies from the laundry took great care with his clothes and they were always lovely and clean. We were always welcomed by friendly staff at reception, the offices and staff on other floors. It would be lovely for the residents if the garden had a makeover but it was lovely for the residents to go out onto the patio so often. Dad's room was a good size and it was always nice and clean. My family and I are extremely grateful to Brunswick Court and all its staff for looking after dad.

My aunt has been at brunswick for the last 2 years she enjoys the entertainment and different activities.
She is well looked after and if there is ever a problem staff are always happy to call me and sort it out.
I get regular updates by phone call and have the chance to bring up any problems we
may have.
My aunt is still able to keep some of her independence which was key for us.

My mum has had a very happy life at Kilfillan House. She has been a resident since Sept 2024. The staff are well qualified and friendly. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable. My mum sadly passed away suddenly this month and the help and support I have received is 5 star! Although my mum's mobility
