My brother-in-law has just recently moved into Arden Lea Court. From the first day the staff made him feel very welcome and helped him settle. We as a family were nervous for him, as he had never been away from the family until he had a stroke and was in hospital. Seeing him in Arden Lea looking well,
bright and happy means alot to the family. This promises to be a good new period in his life.

Although only in care home for 13 months, I can honestly say that it was the best possible place to spend the last of her days. She had good company, good care and was safe. She was able to maintain her dignity, was well treated and the only thing better would of been for her to remain in her own home
which she was unable to do.

I always receive a lovely welcome at reception and the staff are lovely and take the time to get to know my friend, including his food likes and dislikes. They have activities sessions to keep the residents occupied and interacting with each other.
He is cared for well and I would recommend this care
home to others.

My father was cared for at Ardenlea Court for eleven weeks. During this time, the care, respect and companionship he received were never less than outstanding. As visitors were made welcome and felt that the staff really knew my father. While everybody at Ardenlea is hardworking, selfless and professional,
particular credit should be extended to the nursing staff, who were understanding, patient and totally respectful of my father's wishes throughout, and especially during his final couple of weeks. We are so pleased that the final time was at Ardenlea.

Thank you to everyone at PMCH, you acted so quickly and went over and above to assess my father and get him placed with you quickly. This saved a hospital admission and maintained his dignity. The staff are friendly, professional and really listen to what I think and want, as well as my father. Communication
is swift and efficient. I work as a GP and have no hesitation in recommending PMCH.

Very welcoming staff of whom the majority really demonstrate excellent caring skills . Nursing staff are understanding of the needs related to residents which is reassuring. The rooms could be cleaner and it would be nice if the carers had more one to one time to spend with residents as a little chat
can make all the difference, that said they are really busy ensuring residents have all the practical care required.

Overall, we are satisfied with the care and support given at Ardenlea Grove, the staff are all very helpful and friendly and caring. We are always notified of any signs of illness, etc. And the residents are treated with dignity. Food is of a good standard, and the rooms are a good size with everything
that is needed. There are activities for those who wish or are able to join in. We do think that the cleanliness of the room itself could be improved. Thank you, Ardenlea Grove Care Home.

Very happy with mum's care. Nurses, carers, in fact, all staff are lovely, approachable, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful to me and other visitors.
Mum seems to be happy/settled most of the time, even when she is tired and upset (part of her illness)
It is unfortunately out of our hands where
she now finds herself - but I am happy that she is well cared for and safe.

I was generally happy with the care my father received at the Priory. The nurses and careers looked after him well, they were kind, caring and respectful to him and always greeted him with a smile. He enjoyed the activities at the home that he was able to participate in like a visit from the therapy
dog, shetland ponies and bird of prey as well as the singers who wold come up to sing to him. The nurses and other staff made his stay comfortable for him and his bedroom feels a bit more like home. It was nice having the bird feeding tray outside the window too. Only issue was with the plugs/sockets in the room which needed fixing that took some time to resolve.

My husband was in The Priory Nursing Care Home from November 2023 until May 2025. He had Parkinsons and dementia, was bed ridden from the start and needed a lot of care. He also had a peg stomach tube, as swallowing was a problem. He was always looked after with great care and utmost respect. All the
nursing staff and carers were amazing and were always there for the family too, when we were upset. I would recommend this home to all I know and meet.

My Mum has been at the Priory since the beginning of March 2025. She was discharged from hospital under an end of life care package and I cannot thank the staff enough at the Priory for all they have done for my Mum. Thankfully Mum's health has improved and I believe that is due to the expert nursing
care and attention that she has received since arriving at the care home. Thank you so much to Cheryl the manager for her support and assistance. Her team are a credit to her and without them I don't think my Mum would have improved in the way she has under their care.

Mum was a resident for 5 1/2 years until her passing this month.
The nursing/care staff looked after her well and she was happy to be a resident.
However when I needed to deal with management (manager) it was extremely hard and disappointing. The bills were huge, so I feel the manager needs to be
available and efficient when queries are raised.

My mother was admitted in December 2020 during Covid. It was quite difficult at first due to the restrictions, but the staff were very friendly and patient with her throughout. During her stay (nearly 5 years) every member of staff who very pleasant and kind, and she really enjoyed her trip there before
dementia robbed her of her ability to fully participate in all the activities on offer. As she began to decline, both mentally and physically, she was always treated with dignity and kindness, and as a family we were all very happy with her care right up to the end.

I chose to come to Ardenlea Grove Care Home for some respite care. The ethos is immediately striking as friendly, happy and welcoming. In particular, the staff are especially helpful and respectful. The food is home made which suited the fact that I needed to put on weight. The room is adequate but
needs a make over. I would have liked some opportunity to do some basic physio as I spent a lot of time immobile, walks to the garden are ok but needs some attention to encourage residents to go there. Overall, I was happy with my stay, especially the lovely staff.
