Ardenlea court have been amazing over the years, my grandparents both moved in together around 6.5 years ago. They went above a beyond to keep them together whilst my Grandad recieved end of life care, since my grandads passing in early 2020 my Nan has carried on living at ardenlea court. And continues to recieve fantastic care.
Then earlier this year me and my husband found ourselves looking for a carehome for my mother in law, we approached Amandeep and she helped us greatly and we moved her in to ardenlea court. Where we know she's receiving amazing care.
We have been apart of the ardenlea court family for many years now and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking for somewhere for a loved one.

The home is comfortable and homely. The staff are all caring an compassionate, they work so hard to make your loved one feel comfortable and safe.

In my experience, the care I've seen is of a good standard. Staff are friendly & welcoming, & work hard in sometimes difficult circumstances. Both housekeeping & care/nursing staff are on hand if they are needed. Communication with family members is good & they seem to know their patients well. Activities & entertainment are regularly provided. Thank you.

Ardenlea court has been caring for my Dad for over a year now and myself and my sister are very happy with the care that he receives there. The staff are lovely and caring and are always making extra efforts to keep my Dad happy, clean and comfortable. They have become friends as well as staff. The home is always kept clean and professional, whilst still managing to keep a homely and non-clinical atmosphere. The visiting hours are very flexible, which supports me to visit my Dad after work and for my sister to visit regularly when she is in the UK.

The reception area and cafe are very welcoming and the receptionists are extremely helpful. The nurses are knowledgeable and caring, always having a smile on their face and they manage difficult situations with the upmost professionalism. We want to thank everyone for their hard work and commitment in the home.

My brother-in-law has just recently moved into Arden Lea Court. From the first day the staff made him feel very welcome and helped him settle. We as a family were nervous for him, as he had never been away from the family until he had a stroke and was in hospital. Seeing him in Arden Lea looking well, bright and happy means alot to the family. This promises to be a good new period in his life.

My father was cared for at Ardenlea Court for eleven weeks. During this time, the care, respect and companionship he received were never less than outstanding. As visitors were made welcome and felt that the staff really knew my father. While everybody at Ardenlea is hardworking, selfless and professional, particular credit should be extended to the nursing staff, who were understanding, patient and totally respectful of my father's wishes throughout, and especially during his final couple of weeks. We are so pleased that the final time was at Ardenlea.

Ardenlea Court Care Home is a truly wonderful place!
We started at Ardenlea Court earlier this month and it has been running for the last 4 weeks. We were looking to start an intergenerational toddler group and we were delighted when Ardenlea Court were keen to partner with us on this project. It has been a joy to work with the staff to provide this enriching opportunity for the residents and the toddlers who attend.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome. The staff are friendly and very helpful and have a lovely relationship with the residents. Staff are attentive to residents' needs and offer them many wonderful opportunities throughout the week.

All the staff were very caring and professional during my three week stay after an operation. Living alone after the death of my wife, I wanted support available immediately after the operation and then two weeks later when my catheter was removed as I was unsure what the impact of my incontinence would be. The inclusive laundry service was a key factor. I was able to self medicate most of my medication, but the nurses did the injections I required until I was confident enough to do them myself. The food was so much better than in the hospital. With the daily pastries, I was able to treat myself and start to enjoy my recovery more as a holiday. I enjoyed talking with all the staff as I recovered as I felt that they took time to be friendly and listen to me. I was pleased with my stay as it was certainly a major contributory factor to my recovery.

My mother-in-law went to live in the dementia unit at Ardenlea Court Care Home in August. She settled into life there and was happy and well looked after. However, it was the impact that Ardenlea had on my wife (her daughter) which was the most heartening. After being a carer my wife was able to be a daughter again because her mother was so well cared for in the home, her relationship with her mother was once again happy.

My father has been at Ardenlea as a temporary resident for a few months - our first experience of care homes and I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities there. All the staff and management are very approachable and friendly and from the interactions I've seen with my dad during visiting, they are incredibly kind and patient to the residents. My dad was admitted to hospital with an infection recently which was quickly spotted and actioned by the staff there. I can't thank them enough for all they've done for my dad and our family in supporting him so well. Thank you to everyone at Ardenlea. You are all amazing.

It was the second time that my late mom stayed at Ardenlea. Mom was sadly diagnosed as terminally ill. We tried to manage at home, until mobility deteriorated and it became impossible. My mom was willing to do this, but only if she could go to Ardenlea. She would not consider any other. Mom went here Jan 24 and was very dependent as was now bed-bound and getting progressively worse with terminal illness. The whole team here is outstanding, all the nursing staff, carers, catering, maintenance, social/entertainment their care, kindness and support is beyond words. The personal connection to my mom is something I will treasure forever. Additionally, they supported me and the wider family up to and including my mom passing away. The respect, dignity and genuine care and kindness was wonderful. The complete team here ensured that my mom's last months/weeks were as good as they could make it. I will be forever grateful to the team for being so kind, caring and compassionate. Thank you everyone.

After spending several weeks in hospital, it was a happy experience when my husband spent time in Ardenlea. All the staff made us both feel welcome. They worked tirelessly supporting him with nursing care, assisting him with mobility issues, and always making time for a chat, which is invaluable, and they were cheerful and caring.

As a visitor, I was always made welcome and kept up to date regarding treatment, medications, food intake, etc. Thank you to all the staff.

Overall Experience
My mother was discharged from hospital into the care of Ardenlea Court Care Home in January 2023.
Ardenlea is our first experience of a care home but the care my mother receives means that we have not needed to look elsewhere.
A high level of attention is given to residents by the many staff who don't seem to pass a resident’s room without looking in to say hello and check all is ok. The GP surgery and the hospital are on the doorstep.
There are many interactive activities that ensure residents are stimulated and involved with their environment. There is a hairdresser, a coffee shop, a bar and nice gardens; some rooms have French door access to a patio.
Excellent meals are supplemented with pastries, beverages and all the treats you would have if you were at home.
The management team are responsive and deals, speedily, with any queries we may raise.

My mother is happy, safe and well cared for at Ardenlea Court: we would like to extend our thanks to those who helped to create this environment.

I have been a qualified nurse since 2009 and my previous experience has been in the hospital settings including A&E, respiratory conditions and admission prevention in the community.

It was during my time working in the community I had the exposure to care homes and loved the atmosphere, long term care that is delivered to the residents and getting to know all of them personally.

I really enjoy working here with this team as we deliver amazing person-centred care to our residents and their family.

I am married and have a son and a dog, in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks and being outside.

I am creative and empathetic which enables me to plan fun and engaging activities which enhance the lives of our residents. I leave work each day and feel that I’ve had a positive impact on at least a few residents that day. This and the lovely feedback we get from residents and relatives makes my job so rewarding.

I like Ardenlea Court in particular as Nirmal is a brilliantly supportive and fun colleague, and all team members help to support activities where needed. This creates a great working atmosphere in the home.

Outside of work, I am a huge football fan, and supporter of Liverpool FC, so watching football is my favourite hobby. I am also a big animal lover, I love cats and dogs equally but hope to adopt a rescue dog with my husband in the near future.
