Our dear friend Mary was in this lovely care home for two years and we visited her on a number of occasions, from initially being bedbound to miraculously being able to walk out two years later. This is a beautiful care home near Uxbridge and Mary and her husband were allowed to make her room as cosy and homely as they liked. The staff welcomed us warmly on every occasion that we visited and, once she was able to be wheeled to the dining room, we were always invited to join them for lunch. The meals were extremely tasty and prepared on site. The staff were amazing and we saw first hand how they treated all residents (and relatives & visitors) with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. We really can't thank them enough for caring for her so well. David & Rosie
Thank you for your kind review. It is lovely to hear you describe our staff as amazing, respectful and compassionate. We will certainly pass your compliments on to the whole team.
I have spent my time here at Clare House being supported and looked after by the wonderful and professional staff who have encouraged me in my endeavours to become fit as I learn to walk again and who have always been there for me. Whether it be to make sure I have taken my medication, need personal care, have clean clothes to wear, that I've eaten from a menu of great meals, that I've got plenty to drink, kept my room clean, and even involved me with the varied activities with a chance to mix with other residents. The staff have always found time to have a laugh and share a joke and even wipe my tears away at times when I was struggling mentally. I could not thank them all enough and I just want them to know they have been my second family... and I love them all very much. I will never forget them.

Very friendly staff. Very good care for the residents. Always made to feel welcome when I visited at any time of day. What I saw of the food, it looked very good and served very professionally. Staff helped with feeding my friend as she needed help. If ever I need to go into a care home, I hope I can go into Clare House.

Even when clearing out her room we were not given any support or kind words, still no communication 3 months after her passing.. this was mum's home for over 3 years- she deserved better.
For the fees charged mum's room was in poor decorative order- curtains were not hung properly (i tried to repair them myself) signs of rodent infestation, water leak stains remained.. not what was to be expected of BUPA's high standards or fees.
Some good, some poorly trained staff to which concerns were raised and apparently investigated.
Nice garden which is the positive at the home.
We’re very sorry to hear that your experience at our home did not meet your expectations and we have shared your feedback with the senior management team at the home. They have confirmed that they were in contact with you regarding any concerns you raised with them, and they were investigated and...
My mum has been at Clare House since December 2024. She went there as two lifelong friends were also residents. Clare House is a small care home where the staff prioritise the well being and happiness of the residents. It is always the same staff you see on every visit, and they develop a personal relationship so that the residents feel at home. It has always been a pleasure to visit; everyone says hello, and nothing is too much trouble. Not the smartest care home, but the care is second to none.
Thank you for your review. The safety, health and happiness of our residents is our top priority, so it's great to hear that these things have shone through in your experience. We want all our residents and their families to feel like our home is a community. We are very proud to have such dedicated staff and it's lovely to hear that you have built up a rapport with them too.
Overall very good, Friendly caring and safe.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback.
It is a very pleasant care home. The staff are caring, helpful and cheerful. There are many activities to occupy the residents and craft days to stimulate them. An attractive lounge and a bonus is a library with a good choice of books, DVD's etc. Each season is decorated extremely attractively. The menu is good, food well cooked and presented. The management is really considerate.
I am happy here, my health and welfare are well cared for and my opinions are respected.
I am writing his review with reference to Bupa Clare House Uxbridge. As my partners mother became a resident, prior to her passing. Durling the residency I can only describe my own personal feelings and observations during her time as one of excellent care. The room had obviously been cleaned daily and the bedding was changed on a regular basis. During my visits staff were frequently attending to her, I can only describe the care as professional, caring and frequent. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home for anyone requiring such needs.
Thank you for leaving this review. It is heart-warming to hear that your loved one was well looked after by the staff at Clare House. We are pleased to hear that you found the facilities at the home to be clean and welcoming- that is exactly what we aim for. We are saddened to hear about your loss...
Our mother received outstanding care from all the staff. The staff supported me and family through a very difficult time. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and gave us excellent advice all the time.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to help you and your family through such a difficult time. Hearing that our care has made a difference to you and your family is truly rewarding. Feedback like yours motivates us to keep striving to provide the highest standards of care.
