My mother was a resident at Arbrook Care Home for approximately 5-7 weeks, and throughout her stay we were very pleased with the standard of care she received. The grounds and gardens were particularly appreciated by both my mother and our family, providing a pleasant and welcoming environment. Every member of staff was attentive, compassionate, and treated my mother with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. Their dedication was evident in all aspects of her care. We were especially touched by the wonderful birthday celebration they organised for her, which made the occasion truly special. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend Arbrook Care Home. On behalf of my father, myself, and our entire family, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff for their exceptional care and support during my mother's stay. Thank you for everything you did for her and for our family.

I cannot praise AH highly enough. Above and beyond the glories of the physical environment, what is truly astonishing is the atmosphere in the place. The staff members are, without exception, friendly caring, engaged, eager to help, and quite evidently, happy to be working there. My wife had a career as a physio in care home and I visited many as a doctor, and both of us are massively impressed. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear words such as "Friendly" and "Caring" being used to describe our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
My brother was admitted to Arbrook House in September until November 2025 as an end-of-life resident. The care, medical attention, and services bestowed upon him for the duration of his stay were second to none. The professional but personal approach by all management and staff made both my brother and family feel reassured that he was in the best place possible, right from the beginning of his stay through to the compassion and care shown when he sadly passed away. We will always remember your kindness shown to the very end of his life.

I have to say that it has exceeded our expectations so much so that Mum is quite sad to leave. She has made some lovely friends, and all the staff have been incredible. I would highly recommend.

Mum has settled very well into Arbrook House. The care provided has seen her health and wellbeing improve considerably. She is happy and well taken care of. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The Arbrook Team have looked after Dad so well since he arrived 4 years ago and as his dementia worsened. Initially he was able to participate in activities which he enjoyed and the staff have always been kind and patient. Towards the end when Dad really was very unwell he did not have any bed sores and the team were understanding and gentle. They were also helpful when we applied for funding and very attentive when he was dying. He died at the beginning of December 2025. I would highly recommend Arbrook mainly because of the team which is the most important aspect of care.
We appreciate you taking the time to write this during what must be a very difficult time. It was our pleasure to have cared for your father over the past 4 years. My mum, was here Nov-25 and sadly passed away at Arbrook. She stayed about a month and she was treated very well indeed. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and paid attention to my mum's needs. I am very grateful she was in their care. Food in the restaurant was decent and facilities clean and tidy. Thank you.

Chef produced the most wonderful pureed meals for him - even though his time there was short - the staff knew that he was a real trooper. I was there every day, and there was always a good feeling as you walked through the doors. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond. It is a good place to be if you need care.

I have been impressed by the way the staff continuously assess the potential needs and preferences of the resident I know and offered care and support with understanding and patience, ensuring his dignity is maintained. After over a year, we are still so pleased with the care that my mother is receiving. The home is run with a tremendous sense of family, and the staff do everything to make the residents feel cared for, respected, safe and valued. The management team are amazing and responds to anything quickly and efficiently to ensure the highest level of care. I can wholeheartedly recommend Arbrook House, and frequently do. Thank you so much for doing such a good job.

I was accepted by Arbrook House Care Home after many other homes would not cope with me and my renal dialysis. I have settled happily.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is great to hear that Arbrook House Care Home could help with your care. We hope to continue providing yourself with the best possible care.
Having checked out a number of care homes before Arbrook, we are delighted with the choice we made. Arbrook lives up to all our expectations of a nursing home, and my wife settled in and is as happy as we can expect due to her unfortunate condition. Everyone here is very caring and she seems to be attached to everyone. She eats well, which is a surprise because before she came, she hardly ate at all.
Thank you for your kind words. It is wonderful to hear that your Wife has settled in well and that she is happy and safe. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Wife in our care. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
My husband has been a resident in Arbrook House for just over 1 year. He is suffering from multiple health issues vis: immobility, incontinence, dementia and an autoimmune skin condition. He requires 24-hour care, which is provided at Arbook by professional management, efficient nursing and extremely caring "care staff", who look after his complex needs, always with a smile and a helpful attitude, even when confronted with a work load. I feel he is in "safe" hands and a happy environment.
Thank you for your lovely words. It is wonderful to hear that your Husband is receiving high standards or care and support during his stay at Arbrook House. We are so pleased to hear that your Husband feels like a part of our Arbrook House family and that he is happy. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care.
All the staff at Arbrook do an excellent job. They are continuously looking for ways to improve and always follow up on feedback and suggestions. The food options are outstanding. The grounds are stunning, and it is a lovely, caring environment. Residents are well looked after, with all their needs met, no matter how big or small their requests are. The staff always find a way to try to accommodate them.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. We are happy to hear that your loved one is enjoying the lovely grounds and delicious food at Arbrook House. We will certainly pass your lovely comments on to the manager.
My father was a resident in Arbrook House Care Home since 2017 until his recent death. I have the highest regard for Arbrook. My father was so well looked after by a very caring and professional team. The facilities are excellent and the rooms are great. He also loved the beautiful gardens. Thank you so much for everything.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are saddened to hear about your loss. It is always nice to hear words like "Caring" and "Professional" being used to describe our Staff. Hopefully you will go away from this feeling like your Father received the best possible care.
Our mother's needs changed over time, and the nurses and wider team knew exactly how to adapt the care she needed, giving her a dignified stay in challenging circumstances. The staff's support also extended to ourselves, ensuring we had everything we needed, including meals and allowing us to stay with our mum as she approached the end of her time.
The holistic support was a great comfort and relief to us. Furthermore, the management team were always seeking and responsive to feedback. We would recommend this hope highly and are very grateful to everyone associated with the home and wider firm.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. We are sorry for your loss but we hope that the high standard of care your Mum received in her final days at Arbrook House was of comfort to you and the family. Thank you again for your kind recommendation.
Respite care was a pleasant experience, and I tried to make the most of what was available. Care was kind and caring, but care givers were often under pressure because of staff shortages, resulting in them feeling overworked, and residents let down having to wait for most basic of personal needs to be addressed. I enjoyed interacting with the staff, particularly the younger ones from foreign countries. I was very touched on receiving a card and flowers for my birthday just after arrival which was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The grounds are very attractive but unfortunately access to the lake and surrounding area is poor, the right-hand path was closed for the 5 weeks of my stay. The left side path is steep with a gate difficult to operate, not ideal. Goose droppings everywhere are very unpleasant. General maintenance can be an issue as painfully slow. Access for visitors is very welcoming and relaxed, lunch with residents possible and tea and biscuits always available, drinks and ice cream on a hot day a bonus and greatly enjoyed! Food was good on the whole but weekly menus are very unbalanced e.g. lots of pies/pastry dishes or pasta dishes in quick succession and the vegetables always overcooked! Lunch for carers needs to be scheduled so that residents can be taken back to their rooms without a frustrating wait.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is always nice to hear words like "Kind" and "Caring" being used to describe our Staff. Our resident's health and well being is an absolute priority. We will discuss your feedback with the home's manager to help them continually improve their service.

Meet the Team (5)

I love working at Arbrook House. The team always make sure our residents are happy and feel at home. There’s plenty going on and we have strong links with the local community so feel free to pop in and speak to us anytime.

I am the Clinical Deputy Manager at Arbrook House, a role I stepped into on 8 August 2025 after joining Bupa in 2018. Since the beginning of my journey with Bupa, I have been committed to delivering high?quality, person?centred care and supporting the development of our teams.
I began my nursing career in the Philippines after completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wesleyan University. When I moved to the UK in 2002, I explored different areas of nursing, but it was within the care home sector that I truly found my calling. I was drawn to the continuity of care, the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, and the ability to make a real difference in their quality of life.
My dedication to residents and colleagues was recognised early in my Bupa career. Just one year into my role, I was honoured to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) from the late Queen Elizabeth II for my service during the COVID?19 pandemic. This recognition strengthened my passion for adult social care and inspired me to continue developing as a leader.
What I enjoy most about working in care is the privilege of making a positive difference every day. Being part of someone’s journey — especially at their most vulnerable moments — is something I truly cherish. I value the trust our residents place in us and the chance to support their families with compassion and reassurance.
Supporting my team is also a huge motivation for me. Helping others grow, guiding new nurses, and fostering a safe, positive environment gives me great fulfilment. Knowing that our care brings dignity, comfort, and joy to the people we look after gives my work deep meaning. For me, care is not just a job — it is a vocation.
I’m a proud mother of three wonderful children — Margarethe, Jericho, and Andrew — who inspire me every day. Family is central to who I am. Outside of work, I enjoy supporting Filipino organisations in the UK, taking part in cultural events, and promoting women’s empowerment, leadership development, and the growth of internationally educated nurses.
In my spare time, I love dancing, which helps me relax, express myself, and stay connected to my cultural roots. I also enjoy reading and attending professional development events that keep me inspired. Living locally in Esher allows me to stay closely connected to Arbrook House, our residents, and the team, giving me a strong sense of belonging and enabling me to support the home whenever needed.

I joined Bupa in June 2012 as a weekend receptionist at Wingham Court care home and stayed until 2017 when I was promoted to financial administrator and relocated to Arbrook House. In January 2024, I was promoted to resident experience manager and financial administrator at Arbrook House.
I enjoy working closely with residents and colleagues as well as meeting and supporting friends and families. It's fulfilling to be able to make a positive impact on their lives and create a supportive and caring environment.
Outside of work, I am very family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my loved ones. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as walking and meeting my friends for a catch-up. I also enjoy cooking different dishes for my family. I live locally and I appreciate the close-knit community and the opportunity to be involved in local events and initiatives.

I joined Bupa on 30th March and have been working as an Activities Coordinator since then. Although I am relatively new to the role, I have quickly developed a strong passion for creating meaningful and engaging experiences for residents.
Before entering the care sector, I worked primarily in trade and warehouse roles. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, work in those industries became limited, prompting me to explore new opportunities. This led me to take on a role as a Healthcare Assistant, where I discovered a genuine interest and passion for supporting others. That experience inspired me to continue developing my career in care, ultimately progressing into my current role as an Activities Coordinator. I find the work incredibly rewarding and take great pride in contributing to residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
The most fulfilling aspect of my role is knowing that I can make a positive difference to someone’s day. Whether through organising activities, providing companionship, or simply sharing a conversation, I value the opportunity to bring joy, comfort, and engagement to residents.
I live locally to the home and feel proud to be part of the Arbrook team, which I believe is one of the best care homes in the area. Outside of work, I have a strong passion for wildlife, nature, and photography. I enjoy spending my free time capturing landscapes and wildlife through photography, as well as staying active with hobbies such as boxing, hiking, wild camping, and exploring new places. I also enjoy learning new skills and continuously challenging myself both personally and professionally.

I am a registered general nurse and also a finance administrator.
I started working as a registered nurse for Arbrook House in January 2016 and have just celebrated my 10-year service with Bupa.
I am in my second year working as a finance administrator at Arbrook House.
I moved to the UK from the Philippines in 2009 and began my career in the care sector as a student, and began working as a care assistant. My experience in the care home sector inspired me to pursue professional registration as a nurse, allowing me to combine my nursing qualifications with hands-on health care experience.
In 2012, I became a registered nurse, and in 2015, I completed an MSc in Nursing and Healthcare at the University of West London. In 2016, I started working at Arbrook House as a nurse, and I have continued to grow professionally within the organisation ever since.
I am grateful to Arbrook House for the ongoing support and opportunities that have enabled me to develop my career and contribute meaningfully as a member of the healthcare team.
What I enjoy most is being able to use my skills and experiences to deliver the care and support that enables residents to meet their daily living needs. I also find it rewarding to support and work alongside colleagues, helping them to be effective and confident members of the care team.
Outside of work, I value spending time with my family and friends. Although my family is based in the Philippines, I am grateful for technology, which allows me to stay closely connected with them despite the distance. I also enjoy spending time with friends and relaxing at home, particularly watching films, which helps me unwind and reflect. I live locally to Arbrook House, and being part of the local community enables me to build strong connections with the people we support.
